I love millipedes so much. I had a Smokey oak named Louie a few years ago. I just got an American giant and I’m so excited

I love millipedes. Thanks for showing yours off. I've promised my partner that I wouldn't get any (he's quite good about my critters and even helps, so he gets veto power. It's nice to live vicariously through you. 🥰

How cool! I just got 3 ivory millipedes a couple days ago and they are so much more stunning in person! So crazy to watch their many legs move around in waves. It was so cool handling them, but one started getting a little nippey!! 🤣🤣 i hear everyone warn about their precious love nips and how its not harmful at all, but they just want to taste and test their environment every so often. Most people explain it as ticklish but it felt kind of pickly and strange 🤣 nothing weird enough to make me not want to hold them, but now i definitely find myself analyzing their little pinchers occasionally as they walk haha

ive been wanting to get into these guys and was wondering what you thought about keeping them with isopods? specifically dairy cow isopods?

I would not house them with isopods, especially dairy cows with their prey drive. Dairy cows will eat most things if given the opportunity and isopods are known to nibble on millipedes as they molt. If you stick to springtails as a clean up crew, all should be fine
