- When you're shirtless in front of a mirror, the transformation looks WAY bigger than it does literally anywhere else.
Talking about managing expectations, cutting weight for my first Muay Thai fight (IKF PMT), and the underwhelming experience of getting shredded with visible abs.
also, some thoughts on flexible dieting and "intuitive eating", sleep quality while on a calorie deficit, suffering, etc.
I'm 5'6 and currently fluctuate between 132 and 136 lbs.
Started cut at 144 lbs.

A lot of people get into fitness with the mindset that people will notice their progress, which can be a good motivator, but in my experience I started making the most progress when the only person I was trying to impress was myself.
Also peach flavored Ice > mango
literally only drinking the mango cuz ive had the peach WAY too much lately and need a switch. grapefruit slaps too

hey brah, no homo, but i noticed you were shredded in one of your older videos, which i watched recently because i'm a C.S. student (Day in the Life of a Facebook Intern - August 2019). and so, i was under the impression that you are always shredded! haha! besides studying computer science and working, i need to get shredded, too. keep up the great work!

Wait how tall are you? Yes man. Staying humble allows for growth. Also I think that it can be hard to continue to build muscle when doing lots of cardio, etc. when I don't get enough carbs/protein and spend most energy on this vs. muscle building. Glad you are including fitness on your CZcams.

As a man, I'll tell you why most gym guys love to be in shape. They do it, cause once they get a little buffed they feel more confident about approaching girls in bars, nightclubs so they can get their numbers and get laid fast. No man will tell you this, because they will feel embarrassed, but it's the truth in their subconscience.

If you want people to notice you need to bulk up bro not to shred down, girls love big muscles, but don't bulk up too hard because you're short and it will make you look shorter

You will not look good if you won't try to gain muscle weight.
If the only goal for you is to fix your health, that's all right.
But if in 4 years, you didn't eat enough, didn't go to gym for exercises with weight and now you say "why people don't see anything", then I have bad news for you
yeah i mentioned in the video - long term goal is definitely to gain lean muscle mass (weight). But right now in the short term any extra weight is a disadvantage for my Muay Thai competition cuz it increases the chance of getting matched with a taller opponent
