There’s nothing quite like a good ol’ one tonner!
Too right mate 👌😀
Great stuff, looking forward to next episode 🍺
Thanks mate 👍😀
Well done on finding the right stuff within your 5k! Impressive 😁
Also, hooray for future shed extensions 😊
Haha. Can never have too much shed 😉
Daymo, love your videos, you mentioned in one that you used a clear coat product to protect bare metal if you can't under coat it straight away, what was it called?
Good stuff mate, Am at a similar stage......So much rust! Also a Tonner. Trying to workout how to stabilise rust. Inside of sills, and everywhere.. Made the mistake of getting too thick sheet for my Tonner floor repairs, bloodyhell hard to shape.
Good advice. PPE all the way. Cheers .😆
Cheers buddy. Good luck. Keep checking in and let me know how you’re going. Also let me know if I’ve ballsed up haha 😉
I could use some welding classes, Damo! :D
Going to build my pull up bars in the next month or so
Mate, I'm no guru but happy to help 👍😀
Good clip how thick is the metal that you’re using to replace
Hey mate, 1.6mm. Think the sills are only about 1.3mm so just a tad thicker. Thanks for watching 👍👍
Isn’t the reason it rusts up because the weld can’t be painted from inside after you close it up? Just going to be all rusty again in a few years?
Pretty much mate. Although I did prime the back also with weld through primer. Really it just gives back the thicker metal. If it lasts another 40 years I won’t be around haha.
@@TheShedSesh ahh righto, so just starting afresh and the process begins again, makes sense.
