- Hi Guys,
Finally getting back into the One Tonner. Today I take the cab off the chassis and build a trolley for the cab. Ready for the rest of the tear down and chopping out some rust.

Love your work! Now get in the shed! - Auta a dopravní prostředky
Nice one, Damo!
Thanks mate 😉
Awesome work mate following with interest!
Cheers mate. We’ll keep it going and see where it takes us haha.
Good video Damo. Good to see you working on the Tonner. 🤘 making the frame that high is a good idea to make the most of the space but will be a bitch when working on the roof.
Cheers fella. I bought a platform today so hoping all sorted. Mate, I’ll be hassling yo ass on some details. Loving your build 🤙
Mate, choice use of space. I'm Locked down in SA atm.Unfortunately my Tonner is in a carport, with horrific weather going on ,power outages from trees down. Not much Shed time going on. Am enjoying your content. I have worked in media in a former life and i know filming /editing takes a fair effort. Cheers bud.
Cheers mate. 2020 and 2021 will go down in history as pretty shit. Take care during your lockdown mate. Get into the tonner when ya can 👍😊
I love WD-40, it does so much!
I was also very pleased that you gave the frame a ‘shake-test’, very important, and it passed with flying colours!
The shake test is “the” test haha.
Great job. Curious why you didn't use the lift for this job? You could have maybe thrown a hitch together to move the chassis around with the mower. Then you would have a way to move the chassis around later for pressure wash, bead blast, quik make room for cab work.
Also, how is the lift working out for storage? I am wondering if 2 post lifts are generally not recommended for storage because the cylinders in some lift designs could slowly drop away from the carriage. I have a used chain over roller type lift to install and I can see that the cylinders could drop over time leaving the carriage on the safety locks if used for storage.
Hey mate, thanks for watching 👍
The way I have the shed set up using the lift would have been a bit more painful.
Good idea about the hitch to move the frame around 👍
Hoist is working good for storage. They have the safety stops you rest it on when cars are up. As far as I know they are designed for that so they aren’t sitting on the hydraulics. More safety too if you’re under it 👍
Great job, at least there is a thing - you can work on this during lock down, but sadly hard to go get parts! Hope you can get out soon!!!!!
Fingers crossed! 😀
