    I learned French for a while now and it's crazy that if you just listen without looking, it sounds just like français! It's spelled though (as an English speaking person) comme the way it sounds!It also seems to congregate some spanish sounding words as well. C'est trés cool!

      Well... Haitian Creole is a blend of Spanish, French and some African dialog, I'm from Dominican Republic and in some way it feels like it also belongs to me!

About 55 counties and each country has alteast 12 tribes and each tribe has around 5 subtribes and they all speak different languages ... lol.. kisuku is an african langugage (drc ) that sounds like english and hindi .. so you talking about the africa you see on tv..on movies ...

    Small point: In English, "courteous" starts with a schwa e, e-muet, a short u, almost like French cœur. kur-tee-us. In the video, it was pronounced sort-ee-uss, which would sound a little off to English speakers. (Ce frappe l'oreille seulemen un peux.)

      Haitian Creole is really a separate language. (look up the definition of a creole language.) -- If you want/need to learn Haitian Creole, to visit or live there, or if ou have friends or relatives who are Haitian, or if you are simply interested in Haitian, then cool, learn it. -- If you want to learn French, you can also learn French. Tip: French is widely spoken and is the mother or cousin of Haitian Creole, Louisiana Creole, and Cajun French (Français acadien), as well as the main language of Québec. So if you learn French, it will help you with all of those. But it is good to learn Haitian Creole. Since you're already here, why not study it more? :) You could always learn both. You could try learning French at the same time, because they are closely related.
