this vídeo has very useful and easy to learn. I have to go to Haiti soon and I will follow your videos to learn now to communicate with them. Tanks a lot
I learned French for a while now and it's crazy that if you just listen without looking, it sounds just like français! It's spelled though (as an English speaking person) comme the way it sounds! It also seems to congregate some spanish sounding words as well. C'est trés cool!
Well... Haitian Creole is a blend of Spanish, French and some African dialog, I'm from Dominican Republic and in some way it feels like it also belongs to me!
@Stanley Dougé you think you know all african languages ?? About 55 counties and each country has alteast 12 tribes and each tribe has around 5 subtribes and they all speak different languages ... lol.. kisuku is an african langugage (drc ) that sounds like english and hindi .. so you talking about the africa you see on tv..on movies ...
Small point: In English, "courteous" starts with a schwa e, e-muet, a short u, almost like French cœur. kur-tee-us. In the video, it was pronounced sort-ee-uss, which would sound a little off to English speakers. (Ce frappe l'oreille seulemen un peux.)
I recently found out that I'm Haitian and I don't have any knowledge of the language and I want to learn so I can teach my children and they can teach they're children
Dude....There are literally videos out of him speaking that language. He’s obviously Haitian. You can literally look up Kodak speakin that creole on CZcams.
Gus Jean I am interested. I’m going to Haiti for a study abroad trip in march and will really like to learn the language so I can communicate with the citizens there
Brown French? In Louisiana we call it swamp water or muddy water French.... most of these or natural words and phrases we all just say naturally down here no matter our race? Small world❤
Haitian Creole is really a separate language. (look up the definition of a creole language.) -- If you want/need to learn Haitian Creole, to visit or live there, or if ou have friends or relatives who are Haitian, or if you are simply interested in Haitian, then cool, learn it. -- If you want to learn French, you can also learn French. Tip: French is widely spoken and is the mother or cousin of Haitian Creole, Louisiana Creole, and Cajun French (Français acadien), as well as the main language of Québec. So if you learn French, it will help you with all of those. But it is good to learn Haitian Creole. Since you're already here, why not study it more? :) You could always learn both. You could try learning French at the same time, because they are closely related.
I’m learning this because my family is Haitian and I sadly don’t speak the language :(
Same my mom has been teaching me how to speak it but i tried tho i still dont get it😑
