I just purchased the seat cushion for my 2005 Yukon XL and installed it yesterday. The above video (and the 2nd and 3rd) help a ton! My only real issue was trying to get the "clips" on the bottom of the cover to the seat frame. I had to reverse the order and do the front clips first and the back clip last. My fingers are a bit bruised from how difficult it was, but I chose to do it by myself. It only took about 4 hours, and I figure I saved a ton of cash by doing it myself. Great product! Looks exactly like the original!

Folks, the clip connection on the left side was a little tricky to figure out how to unsnapped it...but after a few tries somehow it worked. Also, very important the seat with the Velcro make sure it seats right or you will have wrinkles. Lastly, putting seat on the floor or grown and have someone step on the frame worked great to snapped sides in.

You guys do a nice job on these videos. How about a video on just the heater pad replacements? I'm reading reviews where people claim to be replacing them without removing the seats from the vehicle, is that possible? My drivers side heater is acting up, I'm considering replacing both elements, maybe even the lower cover while I'm at it, wondering if you can leave the seat frame/back in the vehicle and just remove the lower cushion (as its own assembly) to replace the cover and element on the bench. Apparently you can just slip the heater element into the seat back without removing the cover? In other words, I'm too damn lazy to wrestle the entire seat in and out of the truck by myself!

Just did this on my 2005 yukon denali and the front edge of the seat cover, where it clips into the frame edge will not stay clipped. Any tips?
What do you do if the lower seat rise and lower motor doesnt work anymore. how can you remove the seat not only to replace the lower cover but to check out the switches and or motor?
At the 5:17 mark the bottom of the seat is exposed. There are a series of parallel wires and perpendicular wire-guides which serve to support the foam cushion.
What do you do if your wire supports are broken? Do you have a video for that?
Hey Matt, good question. While we don't sell those wire grids, you can find them pretty easily on eBay. We've seen them for between $10-$15 for many different makes and models.

Ok so I’m watching this, why did the whole seat have to come out to replace the seat cover? Why can’t it just be unclipped in place?
Removing the seats just makes it easier to install your seat covers. Some people can definitely try and install them in place but getting into certain areas without getting scratched and cut up does get tough.
I guess I ordered the wrong one, I am not a returner though. I thought I was getting one that had the opening for the seat switch already cut in. So afraid of cutting into to it to form it myself. Any tips on doing it myself?

On the manual seats will the passenger side foam fit the driver
The passenger foam will not fit the driver's side without modifications as the bolsters are mirrored.

Hey Angel, we have not gotten to the trailblazer as of yet so we won't have a ready to install leather cover for it but once we have them the install should be fairly similar
