- This video I will look to answer the tough choice of what my Top 10 PS3 Games are. With so many great games and series on the console it was a very hard list to make, let me know what your Top 10 are as well! I will also be including some ones that were really close to making the list and were just were slightly bumped out.

Honestly a huge Harry Potter fan but never got into the games besides the Gameboy ones when I was a kid, so great to hear of a good one I might have to pick that up sometime. Oblivion is a great shout out the DLC and Brotherhood questlines are amazing. Also, Murdered Soul suspect is one I've talked about a couple times on the channel its a really unique game with a cool story.

@@anthonylamberti0821 I played through it twice, the second time to get all the collectibles for the platinum. Both times I locked myself out because of the decrepit house at the end and I couldn’t go back. I’ll go back eventually. Loved the game and the eerie atmosphere
I’ve been collecting for ps3 recently as it was my favorite console growing up. Stumbled on your channel recently and really like your takes/recommendations! I just recently replayed the original infamous games and had a blast
Awesome to hear, seems we have very similar taste in consoles! PS3 has always been my favorite since I was in my teens and I regularly keep a game or two on the go for it at all the times. Such a deep library of games of some of my favorite genres like RPGs, FPS and Racing. Really appreciate the positive feedback on the videos and hope to make some more PS3 content in the future, that hopefully you will enjoy as well! inFamous is an amazing series and I think is one of the best PlayStation exclusive franchises, so glad you had fun going back to them. Just sucks they haven't dropped one for the PS5 yet!!!!!!

I collect pS3 games...have 3 PS3 consoles but never play them////I just randomly decided to collect...I have done lots of research and your list holds up well...

What do you think about the 3 James Bond 007 games on ps3? I've played blood stone and almost done golden eye. Would like to know your thoughts. Thanks
I have 007 Legends on the Wii U but never got around to playing it, however it's one series I always debate on getting the games for the PS3 whenever I go hunting for games. I'll look to pick one up soon if possible, but if they are like the ones on the GameCube then I always have fun going through the single player.

Black Ops 1 is one of my favorite multiplayer games of all-time and was awesome during its peek!
No particular order, the best game is always the one you want to play just like songs.
And by the way, the ps3 and its huge catalog is still the best gaming experience money can buy today as a solo gamer.
AC, the Ezio trilogy (truly 1 game in 3 parts)
Mass Effect 2 (the story mainly)
AC, blag flag (the only fun pirate game with a ship)
Borderland 2 (just too fun + best DLC with tiny Tina)
Skyrim (I'm a RPG guy first)
Dragon Age (The whole series, don't care what crying babies say)
Fallout (3 or Vegas, get the dlcs)
Dead Space (the full trilogy)
Demon Souls (Real challenge)
Dark Souls (1 and 2, die and learn)
Shadow of Mordor (the very innovative Genesis system)
The Lara Croft reboot and Uncharted games would be on the list if it wasn't for the freaking quick time events which I hate beyond words,

I stay away from movie adaptations and super heroes (mostly money grabs)
The first 2 Batman are my only exceptions.
Totally agree with you take on the PS3, has been my favorite console since I got my hands on it and I'm always finding new games for it that I haven't seen before which is nice.
I see we have some similar tastes in our RPG picks that's awesome, Assassin Creed is one of my favorite franchise's to just have a relaxed playthrough of. Black Flag in my opinion is my favorite out of the series. I haven't played any other the Souls series yet but I do want to try Elden Ring at some point. I've been wanting to try the Dead Space games out since recently I have gotten into horror games a lot more, so glad to hear it's worth a playthrough!
I own Darksiders 1 but haven't busted it open yet, so hopefully will give that a shot soon. Bayonetta is one of my favorite series, such a fun time and Bayonetta 2 is really just an amazing game. Bioshock is one of the best PS3 franchises hands down, all the games are just really good and the first one is one of my personal favorite games of all time. Last of us was great with such a interesting narrative and Farcry 3 is a great FPS with a actual interesting enemy unlike a lot of shooters.
Yeah everyone has those genres they just can't get into or are tired of, for me I have never really been into turn based games, puzzle games, JRPGS and rougelike games. But there are exceptions that are just soooo good it breaks the mold for me.
@@coltonsnerdycore Yes, building a character and exploring a vast unknown map is the best gaming experience for me although with my meticulous approach I always end up being too strong too early :)
Have you noticed how some games got great reviews only because of their online popularity but as solo games were a great deception?, Killzone 2 was one of those for me. So surprised that I got to the end so quick and yet happy that it was over. weird.
I strongly recommend Dead Space, my favorite survival series, better than any resident evil games in my opinion, you have to fix a huge ship while upgrading your gears and trying to survive, you're an engineer not a soldier and you don't have guns, just crazy tools. The first opus was quite revolutionary at the time, the graphics are impeccable and the story evolves perfectly with what is happening. Anyway it's much more than just a survival game.
I'm not a collector at heart, I mostly keep only the games I want to play.
Age matters a lot too, I'm 62 :) My teenager years were before the Atari consoles came along. I used to play on pc only. My big gaming kit died on me just before the pseudo pandemic so I got a used ps3 with a bunch of used games and I got hooked, plus everything is still mostly cheap. So I'm late to the party but but but, today the best games are easy to determine, they have pass the test of time and have the fixes and upgrades still automatically available on installation.
Lastly I forgot to mention a few more games :) like
Kingdoms of Amalur: I wish Skyrim had the fighting mechanic of this game with its weapons.
Dungeon siege 3, a "Diablolike" with a lot of things to do.
Dragon's dogma Dark Arisen, it's the better version, skip the original.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 1 & 2
Sacred 2 :Fallen Angel, the type of game you loose yourself into.
Deus Ex Revolution, a world not that far from us, maybe.
Dead or Alive 5, not my genre but this one :)
Before gaming was even a thing, I was an adept reader of fantasy and Sci-Fi books, I have pretty much all the classics but today we can enter and interact in those virtual worlds, be a part of the story as we create our own, fantastic!

Bayonetta 3 was announced almost 4 years ago at the game show awards.
Yeah I was hyped when it was announced but no set date on the release date which was what I was hoping for (If I misspoke and said announce that's my bad but I knew it was), thanks for the comment!

Not at all I'm not a huge sonic fan myself but I have some friends who are big fans and MSG4 was actually my first PS3 game I played through and it was really close to making the list!

MGS4 was actually my first game I played through on the PS3 great game just I haven't played any of the other ones so I didn't get the story too much. Mainly the call backs to older games, however I have a friend whos played through it like 7 times I think so I know its a fantastic game! Thanks for the comment!
Uncharted 2 is better than 1
Fair enough I just prefer 1 and 3 over it personally, it goes 3 1 2 for me but I can see why a lot of people prefer 2.
@@coltonsnerdycore yh u completely right about u2 the main problem is the 4hoour 0 gameplay intro last 2 hours nonstop gameplay ... but ppl will be telling u its great game they probably didnt even play any uncharted game lol and if so 1 time max
U1 golden abyss and u3 r undefeatable straight to the point gameplay heavy focused no nonsnse in the writing.. lost legacy is solid
U2 or u4 r jst the worst ...
Mainly bcs of how the games r structured
U4 makes sense it was complete flop reworked like 6 times and new gen and problems in naughty dog so complete hell but u2 is just mindblowing 4 hour intro which makes 0 sense to set up the story that makes even less sense whole u2 makes 0 sense even Nathan is fraud that game is completely stupid as I said most overrated game of all time ... campaign wise definitely for me the game starts once they attack the Tenzins village its fugin unplayable if u start anywhere before it u wd die of boredoom
But atleast u4 kinda makes sense story wise so Id actually say uncharted 2 may be the most overrated game of all time but it probably Has far more gameplay in the last 2 hours thn U4 will ever have so hard to say
