WOW.... A youtube build video that is clear, concise and with full explanations. Not to mention a full parts list! Background music was not overly annoying and you kept the volume of it low (THANKS!). I think a lot of other youtube channels should watch this for how to do things the right way!
Instantly subscribed. This is what I was looking for. Thanks a bunch, Giz.
That is probably the best build video i've seen and also the cleanest build plane! outstanding job!
I’ll second that
Third that. I’m not even building this plane, and I learned something’s applicable to what I’m building (wing).
Amazing video! Thank you for taking the time to upload.
Good to see you back 👍
Thank you for a perfect comprehensive tutorial video. 5 Stars
Hats off, that is an awesome step by step guide!!! I was looking for a two-way gimbal solution like yours for a build I'm planning on. Extraordinary!!!
I love your new way of presenting and editing videos
Incredible build video earned my sub ! Please do more like it !
Great choice of components and a super neat install...I have just built the smaller black Skyhunter using the Matek F411 WSE....Less complex...Kudos for the printed stuff and all the effort for making this video...Well done...🤔😳😎
No one come closer to his builts, a real professional, super video.
Your videos are simply awesome. Your eye for detail is impressive. Keep making these high quality videos.
Awesome build! Thanks for the video
As always great content. Very educational and thorough and also very entertaining. Well put together.
Cheers man
I want to get into stuff like this, looks incredibly fun and seems like you get some great views.
You really deserve more subs and views! :)
Great job in making this process look so ‘easy’! ))
great video! thanks for going into such detail on the build steps :)
WoW! Thanks a lot for your dedication.
Absolutely brilliant, thanks
Excellent build very very clean.
Thanks for this incredible video.
I like this little Pitot tube sensor. I once built an linear array of Pitot needle sensors to measure the flow velocity inside a pulse tube of a cryocooler, but they were not fast enough. So I changed to a hot wire anemometer array which worked in the sub-millisecond range. It was made of 5 µm diameter platinum wires with a length of 2 mm operating in constant current mode.
Wonderful video! 👍
I believe this is the maker & type you recommended to me in my comment/questions to you in your SkyWing video.
Thank you again and well done as usual from you!
Best,
R. C. Christian (somewhere USA)
i love how detailed this is
I try to make sure literally everything is explained lol
SUPER instructions.......lovely
Outstanding. Shows a lot of time and talent went into this video. Thank you!
This is probably the best most meticulous attention to detail build video ive ever seen.
My goal was to be extremely thorough :)
I think you did a fantastic job
Great video thanks!
Fabulous!!
Production far better than channels with 10k+ subs..hope to see you grow
Great build.
To tail, for all servos bringing one common thicker power and ground will be good idea keeping signal cables separate to fc on single dupont connector. nice build
Great job !
best Tutorial ever seen! thankyou my man
You're welcome. Glad you enjoyed 😊
love the use of 3d printed parts!! super clean, i'm planning a vtol build with the mini skyhunter soon
Nice! That'll be sick
Thanks for the wiring help.
Really well done
You sir are a life saver with this video 📹 🙌
I'm glad it helped 😊
Great video, keep it up! Liked and subscribed!
insane amount of job, you're amazing!
Thankyou! :)
Well done! Subbed!
Очень подробная инструкция, как всегда приятно смотреть. Спасибо.
Anyone else gonna laugh at the laptops wallpaper 🤣🤣🤣
Awesome setup sir., 👍👍👌
The issue with the current sensor is real at F722-Wing. Just add the capacitor and it should be fine. Great video!
Man, immediately I noticed how clean this build looks. Will definitely check out the entire vid soon. Thx for sharing, have an Esky Eagle/Easy that may end up with this setup or similar eventually. Have the Kopilot installed and just waiting on a receiver to maiden it. Anyway, ☮️ Wheelchair John in Idaho 😎 p.s., was subd on my Roku so subd on my mobile also, been subd for a bit and enjoy your vids, look forward to more.
Great build mate!
Thanks! :)
Absolutely awesome video! -> subbed
best video i seen on homemade uav s
Great job
That was one phenomenal well-made video , job well done and not to mention nice job on the airplane very clean that’s my style of building an airplane how it should be done....!!!!!
Holy smokes! Incredibly well done- both build and video. That editing... lot of work there :) PS no links to printed parts- Im gonna grab that pitot mount for sure. Cheers!
You're not wrong, took forever to edit this lol. The links to the 3d prints is now in the video description :)
the voice and background music reminds me of an early 80,s quiz show, " Look what you could of won " lol..
I guess I am kinda off topic but does anybody know a good place to stream newly released movies online?
@@jasonmakai1576 Yep, this is definitely the wrong show for you fella
Great laptop wallpaper. Subbed.
Haha thanks 😊
Very nice work
That's a nice build, enjoyed that one, handy having the printer though eh? Makes a job just that bit more complete, well done bud, I want one!!!
Seu video ajudou muito, parabéns e obrigado.
Awesome
Very neat job. I've been flying an original micro Skyhunter for a couple of years and it's a great plane. It doesn't have all the gadgets yours does though!
Great video and great build. Also now with crsf LQ information can be passed through channel 17 that then frees up the 12 channels for everything else. I know with my skyhunter 1800 and my mini talon I need them 12 channels for modes especially with the pan and tilt.
Great video
Thanks :)
Niceness 😊
great vedio, keep going!
Thanks :)
well done
very profesional video
nice job , goood ....
Nice Job
Thank you 🙂
Holy crap, this is such an awesome video. Thanks man!!
One suggestion, if you want to make some money from this, is to create a Udemy course where you break up each step you outlined in the video into its sub-steps and show, in detail, where you bought your parts, how you soldered the parts together, why the wiring combinations are required etc etc. In other words a detailed step by step. For a luddite like me, who understands conceptually what you are doing, a detailed hand holding course would be real beneficial. I know its lots more work but could bring you some income.
Anyway, just a thought, and thanks for generously sharing your knowledge
Definitely got a new sub! Freakin awesome, I’ll have to make a drone like this for when the apocalypse gets here😉🤣
Спасибо! Интересно и очень хорошо снято! Хотел бы увидеть подобную инструкцию на летающее крыло reptile dragon.
I love it I am building an 1800 and going to use a lot of your ideas do you have 3d parts on file good to see you back Giz looking forward to more videos Take Care
Great video as always, Where do you fly looks amazing!
Giz:
Great setup, photography, & documentation.
What was your all up weight, battery selection, and camera choice. Did you make the gymbal setup for the camera? Looks very light and efficient.

thank you for a simple and easy to follow build and setup video i feel i can build my sky hunter now. are the 3D printed parts available for all 3 sizes of sky hunter and if you don't have a 3D printer is there still a way to have them made. keep up the great vids and would love to see her on a FPV flight plus any other FPV model builds you do, as i said i am not technically minded and i am very new to the sport and still learning but if i could get the 3D printed parts from somewhere i would easily be able to build mine with your vid thanks for making it simple for me to follow
15:10 lovin the screensaver on the laptop 🤣
Hey, amazing build! Planned to build my own long ago, having the kit laying in a corner…
One question, which propeller are you using, 8x4 apc?
thanks for sharing. How much flight time and range did you get from this build?
Nice neat design and build..... you must already engineer on some bigger machines, or if you don't currently, you should!!
I had the exact same problem with the 722 and go the same answer from matek :) i'm now at 303 and vbat_scale = 1111
Love the new build vid, very polished. Can't wait to see some more footage from her. I have mine ready to maiden, but with a F405 and no pan/tilt. Really like the Pan. Thingyverse link to follow?
Cheers man. Yup thingiverse links have now been added to the video description :)
Where did you buy the spare control horns and pushrod for the rudder servos?
can you comment after 2 years of using it?
what FC and VTX would you recommend?
any other hardware that you would change now?
Great video. How about a head tracker??
Brilliant tutorial. 👍 inspired me to crack on with a wing build tmr.
Quick question... I remember you dabbling with 2.4ghz video a couple of years ago. Did you persevere with that?
2.4ghz video was amazing, it just works so well and gets you fantastic range. But after about a year of using it I reverted back to 5.8ghz. Reason for that is I stopped flying super long range so didn't really need 2.4 anymore
So you can receive hd camera footage live? Why can we not use those as fpv camera? Is it just too much latency?
I'm using your setup which seems to be: 3S battery, 2216 1250kv motor, 8x6 prop. However, when I put my plane into any of iNav's navigation modes (NAVPOSHOLD, NAVALTHOLD, etc) the default throttle value seems too low to keep the plane in the sky any my plane stalls. Did you have to change the default cruise throttle? Or a better question might be, what was your cruising throttle? On my setup the cruising throttle is above 75%, which seems high to me. Did you build require a similar throttle to stay in the air?
Quick question what pushrods am I supposed to get?
Is there a reason why you dont fully 3d print it? I mean like the hull as well?
🔥
Do you know about the 5g connection? I heard that it can be modded to control model aircraft with a minimal delay considering the distance which is unlimited as long as the area had 5g connection. It would be awesome to use it on model military aircraft and Chase some random civilian aircraft just for the heck of it .
needed this to motivate me to finish mine. Thanks! Do you have links to the 3d models?
Yup, links to the 3d printed parts is in the video description :)
Very good Video!
But by Thingiverse is the foot from the Pan Tilt mechanism fail. Can you load this file up please? My Ender3 is hot now😉
Looks like a 3d printer is a must...any recommendations for a decent budget one? iv heard the creality one is quite good?
Yup, the Creality Ender 3 is what I use. Fairly cheap and simple but works great. Would reccomend
how long is the tail boom?
Hi everybody! Help me please. Could you tell me what outside and inside diameter of tubes for tail???
Questions
Why not using Ardupilot?
Do you have a list of components & wiring diagram available for sale?
how far can it fly before losing signal?
Awesome video thank you!
Did you get a chance to test range in this setup?
I've flown it many times since uploading this video, and have done 4-5km range, but haven't yet pushed it to see how far it'll go yet. At some point I will though. Should imagine it'll do 10km and back
