  • TIME TO CLEAN OUT THE LAMB BARN!!
It's been a while, and I have to wait until we have somewhere to put the manure... and a free tractor to spread with.
    BUT, today is the day!!
    Only a few hiccups...
But what would be a day if I didn't break something??

Hi Sandi! Been following you for about a year now and want you to know how much I admire and appreciate your work ethic, your pluck, good humor and your amazing skills! I’m almost 80, been a city gal all my life and now pretty much stuck in my lazy girl chair! You, Sandi, bring reality into my life and an enormous appreciation for the farm families and homesteaders across America and Canada who work so hard, every day, to put food on our tables! I am grateful for your hard work, for the joy and tears and the sacrifices you make! Thank you! 🇨🇦❤️🇺🇸

Perfect wording. I wouldn't have said it any better. I'm a country girl at heart who's been in city life way too long. Thank you Sandi for your compassion for what you do every day no matter what you're doing. I know it gets frustrating when things don't go as planned but you persevere. Thanks for taking the time to include all of us in your life. Hugs and ❤ from NW Minnesota 🇺🇸

OMG Sandy! You have saved my grandson's lives today. They have been total brats this morning. I keep them now that daycare is closed, so my son and D-i-L can work from home. This morning they were so contrary, fighting, getting into things. So far they have both had time- outs in their rooms and STILL kept being obnoxious ( they are ages 2 and 5, with a 5-month- old baby sister). When I switched in CZcams and said "the SheepLady is on" they came running and sat right down. My first 20 min. of peace this morning!! We love you!!!! This video was excellent with all the equipment. Quite a lot of conversation and language building skills. 🤣🤣🤣

They are vetted and spayed/neutered and they have lived in barns and do their job. You just need to feed/water and litter them....not too sure about the litter part...but they will help you out. Seeing that little mouse eating the corn reminded me of Templeton on Charlottes Web.

We had mice in our goat barn too. You'll never be completely rid of them but the Victor electric mousetraps work wonders in keeping them down. I think they have big commercial units that might fit what you need as well.

Hey Sandi, hope you have a beautiful day! Just wanted to say you are awesome. I love seeing the work you do and I really appreciate the way you educate us about farming. I'm living in the capital of Austria (Vienna) so I literally have no farms or anything like it close by and you still make it so I'm able to understand everything you are talking about :) seeing something so different to your usual life can be very refreshing so ever since I found your channel a few months ago I've been following along and enjoying every moment of it. Your dedication is just amazing!! Not only when it comes to your animals but also the whole CZcams thing. You are just such an inspiration as a person. (I usually don't comment on a lot of things...but I really felt the urge to do so today) Sending love, stay safe, stay healthy and most importantly stay yourself

Those three (3) Lambs are Adorable. I really feel for the Other Mama who gave birth to one (1) Lamb and a Stillborn. 😩

You should put your feeders on pallets so even if they're full you can just put them in the center isle with the forks and then put them back after you clean. Saves time cleaning them out!
