    I think you are getting so much dust because it was so deep in the grooves but now if it’s done on a more regular basis it won’t be so dusty. Great job 👏👏👏

    The power broom definitely raised a dust cloud, but it got very good results. Those floor mats looked great. I've had an electric string trimmer for over a year now and will never go back to a gas-powered one. No need to add gasoline, choke it, pull and pull and pull again then have it start, sputter and stall, then pull some more etc. Just snap in the battery, and when you pull the trigger it goes!

    What great horsey dance moves 😆. I had to wave at Petey as he went by. I think that you will get less dirt next time you use the power broom as you were getting the “buried” dirt that the broom didn’t get before. Cleaning aisle ways is never fun….well maybe at some of those multi million horse facilities. A vacuum system would/should create less dust but I don’t think it is any faster. Great job on clean up day.

    That genuine Milwaukee 8ahr will last a good long time. The counterfeits do not. There are no authorized Milwaukee dealers on Amazon. Anything you buy on there has a good chance of being a counterfeit. Stick with Home Depot. I have genuine and counterfeit batteries. The difference in run time is very noticeable.

  • @keithfrazier2558
    @keithfrazier2558 Před měsícem

    There is even a faster way of cleaning the floors, with a Milwaukee blower. If you scrub it deep then blow it, you won't have to do as often. It also helps to have one person use the sweeper and another use a blower. That's how we used to clean blacktop to sealcoat it....well then you mention the sweeper and blower. The blower can keep dust moving in a certain direction with the sweeper, then out the door.

    The electric broom in the stable is a puzzle of pros and cons…the dirt it got out of those mats was amazing. But the dust is a problem…what happens if there is no breeze, or in the winter ? Hopefully subsequent goes on the mats won’t have such an extreme yield of dirt.
    The man who installed our outdoor arena suggested harrowing it across the width in a serpentine pattern rather than up and down the length. He said it prevented ridges and furrows from building up. Just a thought…
    What is the surface made of ?

    I don't think that Andrew & Loren want Callie to get any more of the horse bug then she already has. But if she does (and she'd look so adorable in her horse outfit), do you guys have a kid safe horse for to try out? My boy's started riding at 6 months old, on a percheron mare that i raised from a foal. My 2nd oldest use to sneak in & hide under her or take her for a walk (dad was supposed to be watching him as i was getting ready for a ride the 2nd time. The first time big brother let him in while i was talking to some people) but she did great both time's. (Thank God)

    I wonder if you cleaned the isles more often with the electric broom you might get it done faster with less dust to kick up than you did on your first try. I’d bet it would still go faster than a regular broom in that case. Maybe it’s a trade off, sweep faster more often vs sweep longer less often?
