Im planning on straight piping my subaru, but its my daily driver, and i leave for work at 5am. R.I.P. neighbors
Fun fact: I did the remark and downpipe for my neighbor and he starts his car everyday at 6am- i work nights in the ORs and get home at 530am. I hear him start his car every morning and I'm just in bed like *my man* so moral of the story, not every neighbor sucks. If people are happy, I'm happy. But I'm a car guy so who knows.

How did this work out for you ?
You'll get your vehicle impounded and ticketed if you pass those neighbors off. You won't get the car back til it's fixed. I learned all this the hard way.

i will give you advice bro, and this is solely my opinion, i have a 2020 STI, with a remark boso muffler delete, and a remark non-res midpipe, i'd say invest in that bro, when u keep the stock midpipe and remove the resonator it's cool and all but u get sick of that rasp, your setup has way more sound potentional when u have the full 3" piping all the way through, cuz honestly i have just the catback and it sounds louder even tho you have a downpipe and i don't, mines just very beefy and deep compared to yours 😂
i've been down that road, had a nameless 4" muffler delete with the stock midpipe resinator removed, it was too raspy, although i did love it at first but eventually u go with the legit midpipe, it's night and day

They like to pop with the resonator and muffler delete with stock tune

i have the same set up except for the downpipe , not sure if i wanna do the downpipe due to the fact that i don’t wanna deal with problems later on Lol.

0 rust issues from me after 14 months of the Remarks, garage kept with 6k miles on them, and I am on the shore line of the gulf coast. WTF are you doing to your car man. Get it out of the elements because 6 months and the stainless steel is corroding already?? do you live IN the ocean???

Is that a 2.0 litre sti? My stock 2.5 sti 305bhp...added an agency power cat back exhaust...96 decibels lol ...bow 328 bhp...no downpipe upgrade
There is no 2.0 sti, only in the wrx. He makes 300 wheel hp

@@ZMartinW there’s nothing that has a 37k price tag that can out handle the type r (new cars only). Certainly not the ST, RS, STI, N, GTI, or R.

@Osmar L AWD suffers significantly more powertrain losses at the wheels as opposed to FWD. STI dynos at 240-260 WHP, whereas type R does around 280-290whp, and is also considerably lighter.
ALSO, if you read the description, he’s barely a tick over 300WHP. If you factor in the weight difference between the two cars, a stock type R would be neck and neck with this sti EVEN with all his mods.
I own a type R with similar mods and my car is pushing over 400WHP with over 400torque…. Sooooo, yeah. Sti would get absolutely roasted… like bus-lengths.
Type R is: More reliable, has better resale value, cheaper, lighter, and faster. Type R suffers from: launches, occasional transmission grinds, overheating if you’re tracking in temps over 75F ambient (nearly all turbo 4 cylinders have heating issues), and dealer markups. Type R destroys subi, and even the subi guys know that(unless you’re bader😆). However, if you’re into rallying, or, your state gets a lot of rain or snow.. now, sti makes way more sense. Or.. if you’re looking for a high hp drag application (fully built), then sti is the way to go, too..
In my humble opinion, to much rasp, a sti is supposed to be a deep rumble .

Yeah it’s really giving the subis a bad damn to be honest.. I have a 17 with a tomei exhaust and tomei castless down pipe.. also running a pro tune. Car sounds amazing but I also spent the money.
