College is definitely better than high school. You get so many breaks in between classes. Honestly, if you manage your time well and do assignments early. You can do so much on your own.
True, also college does give you a lot of options and really do teach you stuff.
Even better, you’re able to work with more people on such an easier level, I was extremely serious in high school and nobody else was like that. Problem is, college professors grade much tougher and don’t give two sh**s about your academic issues, you paid for it, you work for it.

in my highschool i don't even have homeworks and I get a tablet. but it is really expensive paying the tablet itself, the wifi and the e-books.

both do... after junior year in high school, I've always gotten multiple pages of homework. In college we'd sometimes get assigned 2 pages, front and back, of physics problems from the book (which makes the font smaller and fits more problems than a printed sheet of paper).

Having graduated from college I personally feel that Highschool was more soul-crushing since I never used half of the education from highschool. Everything I did in college except for the mandatory year of English, which was a recap basically of what highschool taught, has been either important to my degree or interesting to me.

same. Americans over there heavily in debt with like $50k whilst here in the netherlands you get free money for a certain amount of time as long as you're in school. if finish 1 certain level of degree, that money is all free and the rest (if you study further) would become a loan. for me that's basically only about $3k in debt then for 2 entire....colleges(?) I suppose

I payed $3000 and completed 60 units and now I’m transferring to university and I’m only gonna have to pay 2 years worth of tuition at university so I mostly likely won’t be drowning in debt when I graduate🙌🏾

Even though college is so stressful and so expensive here in the US, I still prefer this over high school. Every semester towards the end, I had to pull a few all nighters just to finisg my assignments and study

That's me in math. I'm a freshman and I know how to do all of the work but it's just time consuming because she gives us at least three pages of homework right at the end of class

I learned from other people's mistakes of going to a university immediately. I took 2 years to save money at a job and mature. Now I'm attending community College getting paid to go to school 😄 then ill transfer to a university and complete my bachelors.

My past self was terrified by that too. My advice to him would be "it feels nowhere near as terrible as it looks on paper. You don't want to hear it, but I promise you'll get used to it. It'll feel normal. I probably don't miss free time much more than you do now. I probably wouldn't know what to do with it if I had it. Also, to answer your question 'what do I need all the garbage I'm learning for?' : You don't. It's different once you study a subject of your own choosing that's actually useful.

High school is nothing, college has that famous stress load regardless of how masterful you are with time management, and that pesky debt when all's done. Let me put it like this, my worst day in high school was my best in college.

Naaah bro, high school is way more stressful. In college you don't have people screaming at you nor are you expected to go through weekly/monthly exams. You can also come in any time you want as there is no 'you're late' thing.
Relax, school can be fun compared to the working life later on. Enjoy while it lasts! :)

I went to college without knowing how to divide or multiply thanks to my HS teachers. So college was worst for me since i had to quit it.
Math was never a strong point for me either and I'm grateful I went to community college first since they offered remedial math classes. There's no way I'd be going to university now if I didn't. It was also great that I got my other general required courses done there too.

If you dont get scholarships and grant, I cant stress this enough. Do not go to college and put yourself in unnecessary debt, go join the military, go to a technical school or learn a skill towards a job that is in high demand, ex: wielding
Super Toddy I personally am studying psychology because it’s interesting and people will always need a therapist or psychiatrist to help deal with the stress from there college debt lol. I have a grant and I’m going to a low cost school atm but next year will be my fourth year and I will have to go to a different university to get my bachelors.

And here in Asia you have 7am - 11am classes from kindergarten to college... Plus 1pm to 5pm classes too.... And night classes...

Exactly! In High School it my be free however you are forced their against your will by the system taking a bunch of unwanted classes half being requirements for graduation and problems with bullies and lots and lots of school fights. In college it's not required plus you can choose your own classes it is bully and school fight free. The down side it is not free and you have to be careful how long and how many classes you take or you will end up on the street.

I am 20 years out of college/uni, and I insist it handily beats high school with one of those hands behind its back. The uni I finally escaped from after 8 years of higher education torture was, and still is deeply corrupt.

I have equipment and everything I need to do the hobbies I want while at home, and after my trip to Japan this summer, I’ll be getting a simple job at one of the restaurants nearby. I had more fun with friends in high school, but classes in college are more interesting, just in my general experience. It does require more work to succeed in college and that was really difficult for me to adjust to at first, but I'm getting the hang of it now. Also the dining experience of college life is better. Instead of having to eat the same mediocre high school cafeteria food all of the time, now I get a wider variety of choices of foods to eat while on campus.
People really start puberty between middle school and high school
My college experience didn't include a lot of the negative stuff in this and the debt only lasted one decade, not two.
I hated high school and dropped out year 10 I hated the busy environment and I had problems with anxiety I then went into college smaller class room times are more spaced out between students with a less busy environment and it was a lot better and easier for me also didn’t have to follow rules like no phones water only etc - in the UK

College is MUCH better than high school
In my opinion, the worst years of high school are freshman and sophomore year, you’ll likely be faced with more bullies and fake friends/fake love/fake teachers. As you mature into junior and senior year especially, you start to realize who your true friends are, which teachers you’re comfortable around, and you start getting used to your environment. The main stressful things about senior year are applying to colleges and taking extra ap classes - from someone graduating high school in 2020

If college is worse than high school, I'm gonna go crazy. I'm a freshman and the only thing I like about school is staying after school with my friends for band, but marching season is almost over, so I'm probably going to hate high school at least until next year. I also keep forgetting where my classes are and we're halfway through the first semester. It feels like as soon as I remember my classes, the next semester will start and I'll have to memorize those classes

I haven't watched the video yet and I'm going to be in my last year of middle school starting tomorrow but here is what I have to say:
Elementary school: easy, too easy, it's like someone is giving you a coloring book
Middle school: hardest time of your life, luckily it's only three years (at least for me)
High school: You are just tired at this point and so used to work and just want to get through tests and exams. It's not that hard besides the SAT, ACT, etc.
