Where is the controller on these bikes is it seperate from motor?
I got one on these and absolutely love it!! It's definitely a must-have. But I have a question?? What is the paddling option on the bottom? Near rpm. You can turn it on and off. What does this do please

We are very happy that you are satisfied with our SpeedBox :-) You can set various options in our App. For example, the maximum speed (if you want to save the battery), a warning about exceeding the speed limit, lock the motor and protect your e-bike, hide the tuning (so that no one can activate/deactivate it outside the App). Or you can set the optimal pedaling frequency for yourself, if you want maintain an ideal pace on a longer route. If you have any further questions, please contact us at any time.
@SpeedBoxTuning I have the Bluetooth chip. If my phone battery dies can I still activate the chip? And how ? Thanks
@@MrRobertomendola Hello. If you don't have Invisible tuning mode activated in the App, you can activate the tuning in the App or on the e-bike display, it doesn't matter. If you have activated Invisible tuning, be careful that your phone battery does not die, otherwise the tuning on the display will not be activated and you will have to crawl home 25 km/h 🙂
Hello. Which version would i need for a 2022 Giant Reign E+2, it has the ride control go, lights and button on the top tube and 2 button controller on the bars. Also if i was to upgrade to the Ride Dash Evo would i then need a different speedbox? This product looks ace. Thanks.
Hello. Thanks for your comment. SpeedBox 3.1 for Giant is suitable for your e-bike. This chip is also in B.Tuning version (B. as Bluetooth) and can pair with smart phone. We are currently tuning the chips with the new firmware. If you are not in a hurry and can wait a few weeks, we recommend following our website speedbox-tuning.com or social networks where we will announce these news.

Hello. We are still testing the 2023 models. If you do not have an Advanced model with a SyncDrive Pro 2 motor, which we have not yet fully tested, the SpeedBox 3.1 for Giant will work with your e-bike.

We are glad that you are considering purchasing a SpeedBox device. In general, if you install any device in the e-bike motor, the warranty may be lost. Therefore, for these cases we recommend: In case of updating the software of your e-bike, uninstall SpeedBox from the e-bike first, update the software and reinstall SpeedBox. If you are going to visit the service, don't forget to uninstall SpeedBox from the motor first.

In theory, the speed can be unlimited. It only depends on the power of your motor and the frequency of your pedaling.

Hello Mario. The necessary equipment for this SpeedBox model is the SyncDrive motor and the RideControl GO controller - in your case it should be on the frame, am I right? If yes, everything is okay. Tuning is activated by pressing the WALK button or by switching the + - + - mode. You just can't tell visually if the tuning is active/inactive For the B.Tuning version, tuning can be activated directly in the application.

The question i have is, how did you remove the crank arm so easily? Did you use a special tool, if so what was it?
Hello. If you are removing the crank for the very first time, it may not be easy. We recommend using brute force carefully 🙂

Hello. SpeedBox 3.1 for Giant is only compatible with RideControl Go and motor SyncDrive Pro 2022. It is not compatible with Giant Revolt E+ (2022-2024) and with e-bikes since 2023.

Hi. Do you have a SyncDrive Pro motor and a RideControl Go controller? Did you activate with the WALK button, the limit 9.9 was displayed, but the e-bike did not go faster than 25 km/h? Try activation using the combination - + - + Or another option is to try setting a lower speed limit after activating the tuning (using + + + - - - and switching the WALK button), for example 50 km/h. If this does not work either, please contact your dealer for a replacement. Thank you.

@@user-fc3uh2dg6d Hi. SyncDrvie Pro 2 may occasionally experience a complication. Try one last try. Set the max speed to 15 km/h and check if the engine shuts off at 15 km/h. If so, that's good. Then increase the max speed to e.g. 30 km/h, the chip should already work. If this does not work, we recommend a replacement. We currently estimate the launch of the new firmware within two months.

Ich kann jeden davon abraten sich eine speedbox heutzutage einzubauen die Bikes werden heute so schnell erkannt dass die eine speedbox drin haben das hat sehr gut bei Baujahr 2021 geklappt aber jetzt nicht mehr

@@SpeedBoxTuning ich habe das selbe Mike was sie da auf ihren CZcams Video zeigen und mein Motor wurde gesperrt die sind mit 600 € dabei um das wieder freizuschalten ich kann nur jedem davon heutzutage abraten sich sowas zu kaufen
@@TheJenseman69 Leider reicht ein einziges Update einer beliebigen E-Bike-Firmware auf 2023 aus und das Risiko einer Tuning-Erkennung steigt.
@@SpeedBoxTuning ja und deswegen ist das Risiko heutzutage zu hoch um sich eine speedbox einzubauen nicht mal die Werkstätten können die Motor wieder entsperren muss direkt vom Hersteller gemacht werden und wie gesagt mir hat der Spaß 600 € gekostet das Entsperren die speedbox hat mir 300 € gekostet einmal und nie wieder

Got one fitted to PW-X3 and it rendered my motor useless after two months. The motor was replaced under the warranty. The new motor failed again with the same issue just after one month. Bike warranty invalidated as they know the chip was used.
I contacted the manufacturer but no response, so I have to start a claim to get my money back….

You could of told us the speed it will do ! Yes clear change of part which isn’t rocket science but why not tell us the speed.
Speed depends on pedaling frequency. Speeds over 50 km/h can be reached.
Größte Schrott.. Fehlercodeauslegung beim Händler hat zuerst defekten speed sensor angezeigt, nach tausch war das Problem aber immer noch nicht gelöst. Giant meinte dann es ist der A6 fehlercode, der wegen motor tuning auftaucht. Ich habe aber nie was verändert. Motor musste zu giant zum reprogrammieren. Giant hat mir dafür auch noch 200€ in Rechnung gestellt... vlt kann das bei dir ein anderer defekt sein. Wäre interessant zu wissen was dein Händler dazu sagt
