Mini mini mini doughnuts! So easy and cuter than a puppy licking peanut butter off his nose.
Recipe -
110g plain flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp bicarbonate of soda
1/8 tsp salt
pinch of nutmeg
70g soft unsalted butter
55g caster sugar
1 large egg
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
60g buttermilk

Did it come out too soft for anyone. Baked it an extra minute and it just got dry.

just tried this recipe, and these are absolutely amazing. They don't overrise.... comes about perfect. give it a go! Edit: they are still super moist the next day.. cannot urge enough how perfect this recipe is.

orlybabe How did the donuts turn out for you? I ask because I too bought a mini pan and tried to make mini donuts. It was an epic fail. Some donuts either overflowed like muffins and some were extremely too tiny. I wish they looked like Jemma’s!😂
Riley G Hey yes the first try they overflowed and some only had tiny holes, that is due to over-filling the pan. Put the batter in a piping bag like Jemma did, cut a very small hole and only fill it out around ⅓ full. Also try to not get any batter on the pole in the centre, wipe it clean. You’ll get used to the proportions after a couple of tries. Best of luck!
