So these were some of our Saturday highlights. Sunday brought even more incredible moments and collabs (Lil Wayne and Good Charlotte!). What was your favourite moment from the weekend?
The Offspring was my favorite set. Amazing energy!
My favorite of all those bands
same here
Motion city soundtrack was absolutely amazing, underrated set
I absolutely agree with you .. I've never heard of them nor seen them live before .. My God what a set that was !! .. The guy who plays keyboards was absolutely awesome !! ..
@@penaltybox9097 haha yes! It was my third time seeing them and Jesse was killing it on the keys like usual!
The offspring had the strongest set and energy out of all of the bands
Thanks rock sound for being 1 of few media bothering to go out and reporting on this 🤘especially representing the UK.
I was at the festival Saturday and Sunday. Major things you're missing/should be on this list 1) The Wrecks. Never heard of them before this festival. Now I'm a fan. Their stage presence and energy was an unexpected surprise. 2) Despite not being on the two big stages (which everyone was shocked about) Simple Plan was actually the best act. Hands down. 3) HOW ARE YOU NOT MENTIONING THAT GOOD CHARLOTTE (who freaking killed it as always) brought out LIL WAYNE as a special guest.
Glad you had an awesome time! These were our Saturday highlights (although could have mentioned so many more too). And yeah lil Wayne moment was very cool
Simple Plan always kills it live. I knew going in it would be the highlight
The fact that Good Charlotte brought out Wayne. Ugh, be still my teenage heart 💚🖤🩵
This festival felt like being back to a huge warped tour of the early 00s, wish I could have been there…
And shout out to Tony Hawk for being here and even singing with Goldfinger, awesome ❤
Tony Hawk being at this festival is like the icing on the cake haha
Wish I couldve went to this I gotta start saving more for things like this
Feels like blink kinda singlehandedly claimed the festival in their name. And I am here for it lol.
I was there and once blink 182 finished there set everyone left like half the crowd it was insane I was like in the middle of the crowd and when blink 182 finished I made it all the way upfront to see greenday they were really good too but blink is just top tier
not hating on Green Day but to close on both days is a bit blah. I think Blink should close on Sunday. they are kinda equal now. this is not about seniority, this is about fans & how current they are in the scene. Blink has a lot creative direction and GD just sounds the same.
@@sunchildtinemost people complain that green day sound nothing like they used to, now you complain that they sound the same, you people are so boring
Green Day EASILY had the best show!! after Blink I was wondering how Green Day could beat that but they sure freaking did!!
The Offspring had the best set without question
Vic Fuentes and the boys 💚🔥
I'm the guy at the end of the video!!! So cool
I wasn't feeling the blink-182 show, so I switch over to the Bowling for Soup and I had so much more fun. They were fucking great.
We knew Blink would get too hype, and there will be good videos of it. So, we went to Bowling for Soup and Lit and it was cool to see how stoked and appreciative the bands were for the crowd that came.
Greenday is the number one
Same here. Great energy
Sum 41 didn’t play landmines! Wish they did but they didn’t 😢
What? That's weird. They mustn't have rehearsed it.
What about the bass throw from MXPX! That was epic
Biggest moment was definitely Avril LAVIGNE killing it
😑😐......nah
haha no
I miss my favorite snood fartie rosie posie pierce the veil will be our band forever
Ha blinks bigger and better than before. People cry for and die for blink
So funny when Green Day came on everyone left 😂 blink 182 was obviously the main headliner
There was hella people there for Green day on Sunday yesterday. I was there. It was wild
@@jerricack4725it’s well documented a lot of people left. But it was hard to perceive depending on where you were in the crowd.
@@Figurehead. I was in the middle, not too far from the stage. Maybe alot left from way far back. But there were thousands of people there. I was in the crowd when Blink 182 started and watched their performance until Green Day started. I was just going on how the crowd got when they started. It was shoulder to shoulder. People stepping on my shoes. People pushing by to get closer when there's literally no room. Some people fell. A fight almost broke out about 20 feet from me. Their show was a little longer, most of the people started leaving around 20 mins before the show was over. Me included. I had been there since 11am and was so tired after 12 hours. Either way, both bands & vocalists are very good.
Agreed. We left after Blink. Definitely still people left, but house wasn’t as packed as when Blink was on.
If green day played first a lot of people would have left during blinks set too. Someone is unnecessarily offended that green day got to headline 😂 they are the ogs
if snakes on a plane featuring gabe saporta isnt here im unsubbing
When Blink-182 used to be the closer over Green Day. Now Green Day is the bigger band now.
You're crazy man. Respectfully crazy
What would lead you to think this? Blink-182 are definitely the bigger band right now.
i think green day just has seniority over blink but i think blink has more fans. especially right now. they’re all over social media
I’d say they’re both pretty big, especially because blink just literally released their first album (with Tom) in 12 years lol..
Not even close. Blink is way bigger and important than green day
Green Day dont deserve to headline such a festival with their snobbery around the genre itself.
Green Day has had much more recognition worldwide over the years, whether you like it or not, Green Day sells much more than all the bands at the festival and they are capable of filling stadiums on their own.
@@chris_guitarsound completely irrelevant my point. U2, The Rolling Stones, Coldplay etc have more recognition and sales than any of the bands, would you have them headlining a pop punk festival? Green Day have famously distanced themselves from pop punk and get pissed off when associated with the genre.
The issue of "that band is not punk or whatever" for me is subjective, why be so strict with the genre it belongs to, just enjoy the music you know and if you don't like it, well, explain that to the thousands of people with dead legs who waited all day to see green day at 10pm
Not to mention Green Day just keeps phoning in their new music. They used to be my second favorite band ever, now I don't think they even make the top 10 anymore because they tainted their discography with so much middling forgettable filler.
They do put on a good live concert, but I think it says a lot, that the last time I saw them, right after they had released Father of All, yet they only played 2 songs total from all of the 5 albums they've released since 21CB.
@@BlinksAwakening I agree with you on that, I don't know why Green Day doesn't add songs from the trilogy or Revrad, Father of All is garbage, I honestly have to say it. but I think that changing the setlist a little would be very good, they only added Homecoming and it was great, but beyond that no
