Roller Coaster is one my all time favorites. However, it’s really hard picking an ultimate favorite. Stockholm Syndrome is another that I really love.
Stockholm Syndrome gets my vote too. Self Titled was a masterpiece imo
down with you guys@@Ljaysauz
That’s an easy Top 5 for Blink in my book but my all time favorite is Always from the Self Titled album. That song is an easy 10/10.
Same, I feel like we're on the same wavelength. Roller coaster, everytime I look for you, Stockholm syndrome, Here's your letter, bad news, etc.
Yes Roller Coaster is top 5 and underrated
The Not Now shout out makes me happy. Definitely my favorite blink song.
Same!
When I heard him saying "not now", I was like "Damn"
god has a master plan and i guessss i am in his demand
For me, Pathetic will always be THE quintessential blink song - it incorporates everything I love about the band!
Except for Travis Barker
@@emmanuelbongar7370 I heard it on the mark, Tom and travis show first before I heard the dude ranch album version, so for me it was travis haha
Yup. For me, any song that has Mark and Tom trading off vocals throughout the entire thing, it’s a winner.
Couldn't agree more.
Was best on the live album. They really perfected it.
Going away to College is my top song as well. Guess Simple Plan and I are now best friends
Same I knew I could trust Pierre on this
Blink's catalogue, influence and longevity is insane. To think classics like I Miss You, Stay Together, Mutt, Every Time I Look For You etc. weren't even mentioned...god damn what a band.
It's crazy to think "I miss you" wasn't mentioned lmao
Great list. Also Violence, then that stretch of All of this, here’s your letter, and I’m lost without you
Max Bemis mentions Violence
Mutt is top 2 for me. Love that song.
Too many GREAT songs
1:28 “A New Hope” was the song that Vic (Pierce the Veil) choose. A Dude Ranch classic 👏🏼
My fav song too .since I was 16..now I'm 37. Hmmm what my age again?😅
We all know what song was. He didnt.
This and Wendy Clear are my favs.
He's clearly not a star wars fan
Originally it was called 'Princess Leia', so he actually got it right haha
All had great choices. My favourite Blink song is Asthenia. 20 years later and I still enjoy listening to it.
Maybe blink’s best intro
Omg you’re the only other person I know who feels that way besides me haha. Obsessed with it
MasterPiece
@@jaredplantulli4288same
Oh my god! My favourite too :-)
So glad Josie got the well-deserved recognition. Had no idea Mike Herrera was going to agree as I was typing this. Further sealing the deal.
Over half way through the video and still hadn't heard anyone say Josie, and I was really disappointed.
I’m sooo glad Pierre said Going Away to College. That’s been my favorite for years and it’s nice to hear it getting some love. A very close second is Mutt because that song is great writing and has such tight playing
Same 🤘
Mutt is so damn good. It's like first song of the classic lineup too. Pretty sure they did it with Finn for the American Pie soundtrack and it was so good they did the rest of enema with him. There's a scott raynor dude ranch era version floating around and it just doesn't hit the same.
@@frog-spit-182Well Scott helped write Mutt so.
@@kiwiangeldust6912 true but imo the Travis version is elevated to another level. His drums on the intro are some of my favorite in blink
Interesting fact: almost everyone is picking a different song.. it obviously means that they’re all so damn fucking good!
Btw i go for “Not Now” 😎
Good choice!! Not Now riffs are next-level good. Tom is the man for making those riffs.
I love Online Songs. Quintessential early 2000s song with catchy Blink Choruses 😍
Finally some who loves Online Songs. I'm not the only one. So underrated
Natives would be one of mine, an underrated gem. The riff on that song and the chours go HARD
the intro kick ass man, hell yeah Neighborhoods is a masterpiece man
@@SethWill07 yeah Neighborhoods is a solid album, very slept on, and undeservingly hated for no good reason. Has some of their all time best songs
SAME HERE!
Ghost on the Dancefloor my personal fav, was so happy that they had it on their setlist this year
Neighborhoods is such a good album man i love lisent in repeat on the car player. Natives, Kaleidoscope are goat songs
AvA + Blink = Best combo
@@SethWill07 yess its my fav album, snake charmer and after midnight also amazing
I would say it was certainly one of the better songs on an album I never loved.
Ufff bro
Glad to hear “pathetic” get a shout out. I think the other song that was mentioned was “new hope”?
yes, it was new hope.
A New Hope is one of my favorite Blink songs of all time. I wish they'd play it live again. They sound phenomenal lately.
The “main” riff in pathetic is beautiful, love it
A song that defines why Blink is so great to me is "Down". Tom is playing 1 note (octave) during most of the song and it's still a masterpiece.
In music it's not about how many notes you can include in a song, but what do you do with each of them to express something and make people feel in a certain way, Blink are untouchable in that
Awesome explanation!
Dumpweed, reckless abandon, and Violence, are all tied for #1. In my opinion
i was sitting here about to comment i was shocked no one said reckless abandon. LOVE that song.
Love Dumpweed might be my favorite!
Took the words right out of my mouth
Props to Andrew McMahon from SoCo for choosing "Mother's Day". What a legend! I've got some SC merch on it's way to me soon, and cant wait.
YES! I love him
Is something corporate making new music?
@@felipezapata6148 From what they said on stage it sounds like it
The lyrics were real deep on that one
when i was a kid that song blew my mind lol
Multiple mentions of "first songs on the album" but the damn disrespect for Dumpweed... Arguably the BEST intro riff to an album ever!
Wasting Time and Touchdown Boy are my favorites, Tom’s tone is pure raw.
Love Touchdown Boy!
‘Like a dog: he is loyal to his bone’ 🐶🦴😂
MH 4.18.2011 is a slept on track off of Neighborhoods and some of my favorite writing by Mark Hoppus.
Love the variety of answers and it's super nice to see so many Self-titled tracks on the list - Obvious, Violence, Not Now (which is my personal favorite) etc
That album is so criminally underrated in my opinion Obvious, Violence, Stockholm Syndrome, Go, Easy Target and All Of This are my favorites off the album
@@Midwestthuggalo69 it's blink's best album imo
Asthenia hits so deep, man untitled record is 0 skips
@@Midwestthuggalo69Stockholm Syndrome is my favorite blink song and yes, that song is criminally underrated.
Yeah bro, your moms pizza kiflice slaps too.
Turpentine is my new favorite song, literally my life in that song right now.
Mutt is my personal fave. The rhythm is just so catchy and the lyrics just make me start laughing maniacally every time I listen to it 😭
I also love how they spun things around and had a softer, almost country-sounding chorus.
every time i listen to this song i just see jim running across the neighbourhood in my minds eye😂
MUTT and Dysentery Gary are my favs
Anthem Part 2 is the best pop punk song ever written! It's a pop punk hymn! So cool to see all these great bands and they are inspired by Blink! 😊
Self titled/untitled album is dope but songs like Online Songs in Take Off your Pants and Jacket, Dumpweed in Enema but M+Ms in Cheshire Cat is just damn amazing.
Also Vic Fuentes saying he likes the song where they said “Princess Leia..”, funnily enough that song is called “A New Hope” lol
didn't expect someone else to have Online Songs as their favorite. All great songs I agree. I would add a from the self-titled album, like All Of This. It is my favorite album of Blink and possibly my favorite album ever made. Got me through a difficult period in my life
Take Off Your Pants and Jacket was the album that introduced me to Blink.
Online Song was one of my favorites, but honestly I LOVED the entire album.
Then I started backtracking and I really liked songs like Dumpweed, Anthem or Mutt from The Enema of the State.
It took me a while to get into Cheshire cat and Dude Ranch, but today I really enjoy tunes like Touchdown Boy, Peggy Sue, Pathetic and Voyeur.
Damn, only the dude from MXPX mentioned Dumpweed, and didn't even choose it as his favourite. Dumpweed is legitimately just as good today as it was 24 years ago. One of my favourite songs ever. But Blink-182 has so many good songs that I respect the answers. XD
Yeah, Dumpweed is an absolute perfection of a Pop-punk Song. The riffs, the drums, the melody, every section is just perfect. It is definately Blink’s best song.
Max Bemis picking Violence, feels like a very Say Anything choice, and I APPROVE
MXPX keeping it real as usual! As well as the boys from Pierce the Veil! Dude Ranch needs more love!!
MXPX and Blink are basically all I listened to in 1999
@@jonforpresident04 same here man!! Still love both of those bands immensely!
Loved the first three Blink albums, but didn’t really like their stuff after that. MXPX is still putting out albums I love.
@@SpecialAgentEBunny those early blink albums are still my faves too! Too many great memories associated with them!
Stockholm Syndrome from their self titled album is my favorite song. It’s not popular, wasn’t a single, but damn is it amazing.
This is the only answer.
Stockholm Syndrome is goated for sure.
GOAT SONG for sure everything that comes from selftitled for me is MASTERPIECE
Can't listen to it without the interlude. It's so good.
The bridge in Stockholm Syndrome is killer.
My absolute favorite riff is from Carousel. It's hard to pick a favorite song because every album had so many good ones. If I had to narrow it down to 3 - Dumpweed, Voilence, Reckless Abandon. And I'll continually question of those 3 are them because there are so many good songs over the years.
“Stockholm Syndrome” has always been my favorite Blink song purely because it punches. It’s powerful. Like a lot of the self-titled, it veers in a different direction than the previous stuff while maintaining an edge.
If I was to go with a more traditional sounding Blink song, “Time to Break-Up” has always been an absolute go-to for me.
Que temazo impresionante. Este tema es de los mejores por lejos.
Stay Together for the Kids is super important to me. Going through a tough marriage and not wanting to call it quits because of the kids was such a difficult thing for me. I remember driving to work alone, blaring that song and sobbing. Yesterday we finally signed the divorce papers, and are just waiting for it to be processed.
Hope you’re ok man.
@TooCute500 thank you, I'm in a much better place since our separation. Abusive relationships are brutal, and getting was so good for me and the kids in the end. They're not in a toxic environment anymore.
So heerrreesss your holidayyyyyyyy hope you enjoy it this time, you gaveee it alllll awayyyyyyy!!! Classic
Stay Together for the Kids was my choice too
It made me smile ear-to-ear hearing A New Hope getting some love, easily my favourite blink song. Dude Ranch is absolutely a pop-punk masterclass, a really beautiful middle ground between Cheshire Cat and Enema of the State writing-wise and production-wise and it deserves all the love in the world. I've left most of pop-punk behind me as I've found other music growing into adulthood but Dude Ranch will live in my heart forever.
I have a soft spot for M&M’s. it’s just super raw and it was really the launching point of their sound.
While I feel personally like that was a mediocre song, those verses with Tom's simple guitar riff are quintessential, kickass pop-punk.
If you haven't heard their bonus track "see you" yet, you're in for a treat.
yeah Guys go for the to lisent is so damn good
see you? hmmm lemme check
My top three are Snake Charmer, Anthem Pt 2 (and probably Pt 3 after I sit with the album longer), and Violence. Neighborhoods needs more love!
That bridge on snake charmer is everything
neighborhoods is criminally underrated by all the old people
i love Snake Charmer Neighborhoods is a beast man
Breaks my heart Snake Charmer and Even If She Falls weren't on the original album. Like, WTF were they thinking?
@@thebroomcupboardI heard it was the label that insisted to put the original release with 10 tracks. Mark said the band considers the deluxe the true version 👽🛸🥁
Story of a Lonely guy, definitely a gem
TOPAJ have this songs that some fans dont notices but we do!
Marks nah nahs in the chorus are so worth it
Lemmings and Reckless Abandon. They have so many amazing b-sides in general.
Enema of the State is still such an untouchable album. Anthem Part 1 is amazing but I think Jordan forgot it's actually the last one on the album.
Hearing Joe from Knuckle Puck choosing “Not Now” just warms my heart
the older albums like Dude Rach and Cheshire Cat still sound great today but get a bit overlooked these days, the lo-fi recordings are so cool in an age of over-produced stuff.
Dysentery Gary is my favourite (or one of I should say), and I was pleasantly surprised when they played it in Amsterdam a few weeks back! Shows how good a band is when all these comments are so different.
An often-overlooked masterpiece.
Man over Board. That song to me is full power Blink. Catchy Guitar riff, solid Verses from Mark, nursery rhyme chorus from Tom, killer drums from Travis. It doesn't get enough love.
Those song that truly converted me into a Blink fan. Somehow I listened to it so many times in my childhood I have for many years been desensitised to how great it is.
I love give me one good reason, the chorus is catchy and it has some great harmonising from Mark and Tom
The bridge is godlike
Now i wanna hear cassadee pope singing give me one good reason
DIG IT!
Its between two songs for me...
I think "Stockholm Syndrome" joins every cool aspect of the band in one awesome song.
Also Im so in love with the neighborhoods album (so underrated). If I one to choose one of that rexord..."after midnight"
Knuckle Puck knows what's up!! "Not Now" is the ultimate blink banger!
I’ll never forgot getting Enema and hearing Dumpweed for the first time. Blew my little mind at the time 🔥.
1. Adam‘s Song
2. Man Overboard
3. Roller Coaster
Roller Coaster is very underrated.
TOPAJ have this songs that some fans dont notices but we do!
My all time favorite Blink 182 song is Not Now. Excellent song released at a devastating time but gave me hope for the future. As a massive blink fan I have other favorites: Boring, Waggy, Apple Shampoo, Emo, Josie, Dumpweed, Don’t Leave Me, Going Away to College, Mutt, Anthem, Man Overboard, Anthem Pt 2, Online Songs, Stay Together for the Kids, Roller Coaster, Everytime I Look For You, What Went Wrong, Feelin This, Stockholm Syndrome, Go, Asthenia, Always East Target, Here’s Your Letter, Natives, Up All Night, Hearts All Gone, Even If She Falls, Cynical, Left Alone, Misery, Anthem Pt3, Dance With Me, You Don’t Know What You’ve Got, Blink Wave, Turpentine, Cut Me Off, Childhood
I love how we can see these bands talk about blink just seeing Deryck in the thumbnail is cool. I would have loved to seen a collab with Tom and Deryck as I think during toms boxcar phase and Derycks underclass hero phase, they had the same energy and will forever be my guitar pop punk hero’s 🤘
Apple Shampoo has the best line ever. "I know just where I stand. A boy, trapped in the body of a man."
Apple Shampoo is probably Marks best song voice & lyrical wise. It’s such a great song instrumentally too and definitely a contender for their best imho. Similarly Toms best in those categories can be anything off that same gem of an album, my choice is Enthused.
Dude Ranch is the Bible of skate punk.
Waggy and Zulu
Something tells me The Offspring aren't fans ....
Didn’t want to hurt their “street cred”
Yeah I love The Offspring but that was a little shallow of them
@@lveavaalbumpt.1292what?
@@lveavaalbumpt.1292Bro this even even a complete sentence. What are you trying to say?
Offspring literally toured and told them blink they were going to be huge after listening to Enema before it was released. They said it’s your turn, we had smash and Green Day had dookie
So many great tracks but I think if I had to pick just one, I think I would go with Down. I feel that is such a banger & smash that I could listen to it all the time & never get tired of it.
Wow that’s precisely what I think makes it special too. It’s like it can’t get “old”. We can listen another 200 times and it still gets us so 🎶DOWN, DOWN, DOWN, DOWN
It's All of This with Robert Smith. Every single element of that song is magic.
for me "Not now" that instrumental part of first the drum, followed by the bass and then lead guitar, sick.
I already loved Cassadee Pope so much and now I love her so much more. Give Me One Good Reason is my favorite blink song of all time 🥰
FUN!
One of my favorite newer blink songs came from the Skiba-era. I love Pin the Grenade off of their "Nine" album.
so hard to pick a favorite. playing their songs helped me learn guitar. it's always so fun to play. they'll always have a special place in my heart. i'm mad i missed out on this year's tour but i'm def catching them next summer
Not enough love for "Every Time I Look for You" or "Heart's All Gone."
Hard to pick a single favourite, but I feel most drawn to say 'Always. Even though the song I was most obsessed with back in the day was 'Man Overboard'. But hell, there are so many. Anthem Part II, Adam's Song, Emo, Mutt, All of This, Time to Break Up. And I'm already bloody in love with many of their new songs: Bad News, Dance with Me, Anthem Part III. Fucking legendary band.
when Pierre said going away to college, words couldn't even express the smile on my face. I first heard that song on test drive off-road 3 on ps1 and ever since Blink-182 took off for me. I love them so much, and stay together for the kids is a close tie!
this is so heartwarming to watch
CAROUSEL!
Story time:
I was pretty young (probably 7 or 8), and didn’t understand why my uncle and aunt (who I did EVERYTHING with) wouldn’t take me to the concert they were going to.
We were sitting in his truck in the parking lot of a local pizza joint, and I pestered him to play me a song from the band he was seeing. He finally relented, telling me he had to find one without curse words.
Aliens Exist was my first blink song, and is still one of my favorites to this day.
Not now is an extremely underrated selection
Cool to see bands we love, loving and looking up to Blink
I appreciate the artists who didn't pick the big radio hits. They have 10 albums and so many gems that never got their appreciation. My go to songs are Ghost on the Dance Floor and Pretty Little Girl (minus the out of place Yelawolf verse)
All time best Blink songs
1. Going away to college
2. Enthused
3. Apple Shampoo
Still can’t believe Max Bemis said Violence!
Yes yes yes! Holy crap I never thought I'd see someone with my same list.
such great answers, I had a blast hearing their reasonings
Great picks by these guys! Honest answers as well
It’s amazing to see blink finally being given the recognition they deserve they are modern legends at this point and deserve the top spot up there with Greenday in terms of influence and Popularity.
They have been heavily recognized and a big part of the pop punk culture. I say for me blink-182 with Green Day,Sum 41 and the offspring, are the bands that you would put in the absolute ultra legend bracket.
Getting answers like Not now, Josie, Give me one good reason or Obvious just shows how big Blink has become and how much influence they had in the scene. Great songs that are probably not even top 15 of their most populars.
Great video.
So happy that Joe from Knuckle Puck said Not Now, also my favorite
FEELING THIS IS THE BEST YESSS I LOOPED IT SO MUCH WATERPARKS JUST GAINED A FAN
asthenia, so underrated!!
My first blink record was self titled. As a kid my favorite was Asthenia which doesn’t really start until 47 seconds in but it’s a very underrated banger. Edit: but now my favorite is Online Songs bc it’s the song my wife and I bonded over.
Wow Im so happy to see Michelle here! She looks better than ever , very talented and very underrated. And I agree with jer, Whats My Age Again is also my favorite Blink song.
Ghost On The Dance Floor is the one I never skip…this song gives me goosebumps every time ❤️🩹
Ben Wah Balls
21 Days too
My top 3 favorite blink-182 songs are from different eras of the band. 1. Stockholm Syndrome 2. No Heart To Speak Of and 3. Dammit
“Always’ is my favorite Blink video! Love the new album, Anthem part 3 rocks!!!
The disappointment when he heard "All the small things" turned into "lets be nice about it" "THEY'RE HITS FOR A REASON !" lol
0:23 Not that it matters, but how can you forget that Anthem closed Enema? The Dumpweed riff that opens the album is unforgettable to me.
Edit: 1:10 Did Deryck do it too? What is happening?
Anthem Part 2 is objectively their best song. Encapsulates everything about the band; it's fun and there's a tad of seriousness.
I love the word ‘encapsulates’
@@stefanblois7275 when I teach masterbayshun, I'm just like have fun with it
‘Voyeur’ from Dude Ranch got me into blink 182. The doo whop ‘na na nas’ are so legit …
Feeling this is awesome!!! Also, I miss you.
I love so many blink songs, but I think Asthenia has got to be my favorite
Turpentine is 🔥
So nice interwievs!
I’m so stoked that someone said give me one good reason! Been my favorite since it came out!
I'm Sorry and Man Overboard are very underrated
Dammit, Going Away to College, Not Now, Anthem part 2, Feeling this, Violence, Here's your letter, I miss you, Carousel, Man Overboard, The party Song, Reckless Abandon, Story of a Lonely Guy, Mutt, Heaven, Pinn the Grenade, The Rock Show, Up all Night, Kaleidoscope, Boxing Day, Black Rain, Please Take Me Home.
They have way too many good songs, even in their albums without Tom.
depends what im in the mood for, glad to know more people like feeling this. i think whats my age again is one of their best production ive heard from them and i know all their songs
Glad to hear some love for Josie! Dumpweed for the opening riff, Anthem part 2 for overall awesomeness. Lots of great songs to choose from!
Easy target, josie, pathetic, voyeur, not now, ghost on the dance floor, stay together for the kids, hearts all gone.... the whole live album is always just 🔥
best Blink song is "Please Take Me Home"
“Down” gets me in the feels every time.
