definitely. it's really kinda relaxing watching someone go through the board. If you've ever done uber, you have to fail to know "oh that's not worth it" because there's nobody out there really showing you what's worth it and what's not, how to handle it etc
I tell everyone doing Uber and Doordash to know your worth. I look at everything as $1 a mile. This also causes a low acceptance rate, but it is what it is. I can't move for just anything. $3 for 8 miles is a no go for me.
I haven't even started, and I must say you dropping straight jewels on this video. I can't wait to get started in the trucking industry.

Get a DOT inspection at a weigh station. If they do it and you pass use that as leverage when calling brokers. Some will let you run their loads, some won’t. Keep making those calls.
What about the loads in Texas with new authority. Is it possible to be successful

That’s not particularly my lane. But you can use DAT one load board with the same methods I spoke about in video. You just need to focus on loads 18’ and under. ✌🏾

Depending on where you are located I’d give DAT a look or Sylectus. Search indeed for local contract work.

What’s the top 5 loadboards for California? Also how long typically does it take for you to get paid ?
This is the top load board. Most other boards typically have about the same loads posted. If you have a factoring company you can get paid within 24/48 hours.😊

When you book a load how much paper work is involved after?
Rate confirmation from broker and Bill of lading that you will receive at shipper that must be signed by receiver.
Box truck loads for new carriers on TQL are SHIT. Is there anyway I can get my carriers loads outside TQL?

The choices are a bit slim at 1 yr old but I’m a do another video with my top 5 recommendations for commercial insurance companies.

Some will most won’t, and the ones that will more than likely will try and take advantage. Try and lease on to a company with an aged authority . A lot of fraud happens so I get why they vet new carriers.

Yes, they will give you all of that information.

Truth is they want to make money off of the financing. Completely up to you. If you can pay cash and still have a good $5k to $10k on standby pay cash. If paying cash leaves you on E then finance. But also be aware that if you finance and want to pay it off early they will have a clause that says you’ll have to make payments for at least half the loan term before you can pay it off. ✌🏾

Sign up for every app that you can find to move freight that doesn’t require you to have an aged Authority. You can dabble with the brokers on DAT to see who will give you a shot. Look for opportunities on Indeed.com, Craigslist. Reach out to shippers in your area and introduce your company. Do what most people are not willing to do and you’ll find some gold right in your back yard. ✌🏾

A broker for what? You use the load board to book loads with brokers who are moving the freight. What you need is a mature MC# or someone who can help you book loads with a new Authority if you can’t do it for yourself.✌🏾

Mostly.. but for bad areas that could open up to 200.. just try and stay out of those bad markets. Keeps your deadhead miles low. ✌🏽

I’ve seen local loads yes for sprinter/cargo vans.

Everyone’s bottom line number is different. There is no max or minimum number I could give you without knowing your fixed monthly expenses to run your trucking company. ✌🏾
