From an early age, I knew I wanted to start my own business. I didn't like the idea of working under somebody else. My passion and determination is what drove me to begin my first trucking business. However, things didn't go as planned. I soon realized that this game wasn't going to be as easy as I thought it would be, as my expenses were becoming more than my income.
The lack of profits led to the closure of my first business, but I didn't let that kill my dream. Despite me having very little experience in trucking, or any people I could look up to the industry, I was convinced that this was the industry I would excel in. I took note of the factors that led to my failure the first time, and used them to prepare for the success of my second business venture. Which proved... to be, shall we say very fruitful.
In 2013, I started Good Energy Worldwide and have since been able to grow my business to a fleet of over 11 trucks.

I been in this game 10yrs and their always getting more for the load than what their paying out there are many reasons the industry/ companies are always needing drivers 1 is money there are some companies that take care of the drivers but it's a cut throat game info is king.

My boss passed away in November of 2021. I was just an office girl doing billing and IFTA/HUT and misc stuff. Then the trucks went to a businessman who really thought I was more than what I am. Now I'm learning load boards and this video is my go-to when I need help.

As I mentioned in a previous video a few minuets ago, I'm past retirement age but still work because I'm in very good shape / health but working in a shipyard is no easy job. I'll be doing a lot more research because I need something less physical. I'm not one to retire and just sit at home doing nothing. Again, thank you.

Hello, my husband and I just got approved for $800k in the recent Maryland business grant program. I own a clothing brand that I intended to invest my part of the money on, but my husband insist on getting back into his trucking and logistics dispatch business and preparing to get a new truck. He has been out for the business for few years due to some complications and I'm worried if it's a good time for him to startup back. This was very informative for me and easy to understand due to my first time of trying to understand the purpose of load boards for truckers. My husband has been driving trucks for others for more than 15 years and we decided that it's time to start driving for ourselves. My husband, my daughter and I are in the process of purchasing our own trucks by the end of this year. With that being said my daughter and must learn how to effectively use a load board and this has so far been the teaching I've received.
