  • Tagging along today was my dad, hitting some fun and flowy trails in Buffalo Creek in Pine, Colorado. We tested out the second angle for some more follow cam action, and with a bit of playing around, the setup should be just right. Stay tuned for more angles and content!

The COMBA crews have been doing some excellent trail maintenance / realignment on Charlie’s Cutoff. I was psyched to ride the new switchbacks at the east end of Homestead that replace the old climb up to Sandy Wash.

Yes I'm grateful for all the work they put in!

If you like the Buff Creek style of trail with the kitty litter and rock slabs, then check out Curt Gowdy up in Wyoming. It's a little over an hour north of Ft Collins (take I-25 to Cheyenne then take WY210 up to Curt Gowdy). Same type of terrain as Buff Creek but less spread out and more technical, the trails to ride there are the "gold" trails especially Gold Rush.

Curt Gowdy is on my short list. I feel like I’m always short on time and end riding the same 4-5 trails for most of the season.

I love fast money! I also wish I could properly ride blackjack but I've only had a go or two at each feature. Definitely a neat trail

Looks like a really fun trail. It's been years since I've been to the South Platte, and I'm a little disappointed that the trees aren't growing back after the fire.

Yeah I agree, they have also been doing a lot of vegetation management in some areas lately making the place a mess
