- Kinda an iffy game. It has alot of stalling tactics due to how the buster works in it with large enemies blocking small sections of levels. The bosses tend to be on the easy side. The layout is ok for the most part, but opts to use some cheap leaps of faith, which if you choose the wrong direction, will land you into instant spikes. Not much variety in enemies. It's ok though.

Wonderful gameplay, and Awesome concept to lead up perfectly to Megaman X
And showing Zero with Wily and Bass is so cool
Protoman Did Just as Zero did in Megaman X, self-destructing to save Megaman

This is almost exactly what I thought happened in the x time line. I just found out today(2022) this fan game existed. This was a great story and glad I'm not the only one that thought it. Someone made it a game and that's even better
The only real issue I have with Zero is his Z-Sabre. He did not canonically have that until X2. Of course, this is a fan-game so it's not a big deal but it does deviate from that portion a bit. Either way, pretty cool honestly. One of the better done MM fan games.

Wily finishes zero in this game, the z-saber and his design after X2 were wilys blueprints for him, he was unfinished at the time of X1, and serges finished the design in X2.
Wily can survive being crushed by debris but he can't survive a saber slash to the chest

did anyone ever notice when you get to wilys castle it doesnt start you from the beginning but at the end of it? this happened to me three times and i forgot what i did to make it happen. i dont have a video of it because it got deleted from my computer maybe anti virus detected it and deleted it. i did record it but completely forgot what to do not sure if it is a secret or bug that causes it.

Ok first of all X and Zero were both created at the same time
Secondly megaman was not upgraded X was built based on megaman's design
Lastly megaman NEVER fought Zero ever in his life
Well it's a fan game, it's not really canon.
I actually prefer this concept even though it's not canon, I'd tweak little bits like the Z-Sabre but it would make a fine closing to the megaman arc into megaman-x
as wily was killed, then the MM9 could have been a robot. Zero was already infected with roboenza or Sigma virus. Bass and terble were killed and apparently Auto too. Roll may have survived. But they totally forgot Beat and Filp-Top. Unless their parts were used to fusion Rush. I don't remeber if Auto appeared in MM9, but if he did it could have been a copy or hologram

Sadly, the original place Yoyogames, disappeared. I would presume legal reasons maybe from Capcom, but I'm uncertain when looking around. I'm gonna link something from another video, if you wish to try, but they posted a Google drive link, so they may actually have the file, which I lost mine a long time ago on an older computer when I did play it.

alot of good to be said and some things that arent.
The pros? the balance overall looks good. While the enemies aren't new there is a nice mix. The choice for colours look great.
There is a fair bit to criticize. megaman jumps a little too high, and is a little too fast. though the distance he covers in the jump is good. some of the musical choices don't seem like a good idea. Too many clashing tracks.
mega man turning into mega man x is not right, but i still like it!
