Stunning. I have the black 19" Carrera II S tires on my Carrera white Cayman S and think they look great. The white trim is a very nice touch. Your wheels look stunning!
Very good choice! I have the same wheel and tyre combo. I really like how easy they are to clean. Simple shapes and big openings. I really appreciate that after driving in the rain or snow for days. Personally, I think that the silver ring is quite noticeable and it goes great with my GT Silver. I wouldn't paint over it. My winters go on these wheels as well as I don't like to have two different sized wheels during the year.
Nice wheel set up. Use restraint with the new rubber as they a slick until the residue from factory is worn off. I t have 20" Carrera in black with coloured crest on my silver CS, with Pirelli P Zero. May switch to the Michelin 4 S as a replacement. At the moment, I have almost 18,000 Kms on original tires.
Might want to invest in an impact wrench and sockets. Will save you so much time. FYI, Cars and Coffee in Portsmouth, NH tomorrow. July was big, I can only expect this one to be big as well.
I have the same 20 wheels on my 981 GTS with PASM 10 mm lowered sus. and the ride quality is horrible. I am really considering swapping them for a smaller 18 set with large tires maybe 50 hight because the road quality where I live sucks and gradually you gonna hate any harsh ride even if it’s my dream car. Do you think that will significantly improve my ride quality?
Recently found your channel. Great choice of wheels , I have the same 20”” Carrera S in gloss black as yours but with Pirelli P Zero tyres. What’s your opinion on the Michelin’s? They seem to be getting very popular. I have black valves on my Cayman & they’re almost unnoticeable from a few feet away, I also have the door mirrors in black along with the rear tailgate spoiler & red brake callipers. Regards from the U.K.
Own a 2015 Boxster S with 20" wheels. Previously owned a 2014 Boxster S that had 19" wheels and Goodyear F1's. I track the car and absolutely hated the Goodyears. The only mod I made to the '14 was to replace the Goodyears with Michelin Pilot Super Sports. Transformation on the track was unbelievable. Whereas previously I had understeer, and overall lack of grip, the car now became totally hooked up. The 2015 has Pirelli P Zero's, and even though I don't hate them as much as the Goodyear's, the Pirelli's are a poor track choice. I live in the South where heat is a factor, and the tracks I use are Atlanta Motorsports Park and Road Atlanta. I really look forward to upgrading to the new Michelin Pilot Sports 4S's, so I'm interested in your impressions of this latest generation of Michelin's street/track performance tire.
Any insight you can provide regarding the PS4'S will be appreciated. I really can't wait to get the P Zero's off. As I mentioned, the Pirelli's are OK for street driving, but they do give up a lot on the track. And BTW, congratulations on the 981 Cayman; and the best of luck with it. A truly remarkable and beautiful automobile.
20 inch is waayyyy better. Ya know, if you are gonna paint the calipers, paint them yellow. Stands our even more and you get that total race look...ceramic brakes like.

Wheels look fantastic !

Do an exhaust upgrade!
Wow what a difference!!!!
Congrats for this great wheels. Could you please tell me, what jack you've used. Thx a lot.
Agree with the caliper painting mod. Beautiful car! How is the ride with larger wheels? Ride quality? Sound?
Congrats on the car. It looks awesome.
Just curious who did you get the wheels and the tires from?
Sorry. I preferred the wheels that were on it originally.
Nice i have a 2014 porsche cayman and it has 18" wheels. im considering getting 20" wheels !. how do you feel about the drive in these ? thanks
Nice wheels, these are the lightest 20" oem 981 wheels.

Any noticable difference in ride quality going from 18's to 19's?
A little drop will make all the difference in the world. I think most do the HR springs which will close that wheel gap nicely.
German Driver looks good already, but if you are thinking about next steps, I think that's the biggest bang for the buck aesthetically.
Are these 20” from 991 C2S? I wonder if 981 can fit them?

The PS4s are so good. Much better than the Pirelli’s. Highly recommended.
Nice !

now you need the sport suspension to lower it 20mm
The original wheels looked better and probably drove better as well.
