Treasure hunting lost places with my metal detector. Ep 309

Nothing is more fun than finding old lost homesteads in Montana to search for treasure with my Minelab Equinox metal detector. These are some of the most beautiful places long forgotten in the wild west. Can you even imagine trying to scratch out a living in the wilderness with grizzlies, wolves, mountain lions, bandits, outlaws and the like? Many of these folks were super poor, but I love to see what they left behind and the stories these items tell.

Most of those people didn't have any money to lose. So, I sort of skip the farms due to no luck and lots of time spent wasted in my neck of the woods on farms. Beats the couch.

You're right there. Every once in a while, I hit a good one for coins. I got a barber trifecta at one last year. It's definitely mostly a relic hunt. I've dug a lot of rings and coins and those never get old, but I'm really enjoying the relics.
