How the HELL does this do anything with the hose? It's still there, right? Or am i missing something?
How does this fix the tool cords or dust issues?
Yes... it’s a router circle jig
@@Telephonebill51
Hose: still there.
Hassle: gone.
Compare 0:10 and 16:30
@@martindick6001 By far the largest part of dust stays in the groove due to the narrow hole in the plexi disk and can neatly get vacuumed afterwards, as seen in the video.
After cutting out a bunch of circles, I understand all to well the vacuum hose getting in the way and the power cord too. This build is genius!
I like this video so much!no talk,no music,very clean
I don’t know how your able to create so many cool projects and tips and tricks in woodwork. Amazing! Thank you 😊
Not just another jig ... another exquisitely made jig with unique attributes 👍
I love simple concepts executed brilliantly. Excellent work.
Just when you thought the man could not improve upon himself.
Well done sir!
I thought it was going to be the Millennium Falcon 🙂
Not that, but there is a RC Ornithopter in the links. 😂
It’s the millennium fulcrum
@@davidswanson5669 Thanks, David. That cracked me up!
@@davidswanson5669 🤣
Me too!
This guy is amazing. It's mesmerizing watching him work. He has an amazing imagination and the way he constructs these projects just blows me away. He also spends a great deal of money on cabinet grade plywood. That's all he uses. I wish I had half these jigs in my shop.
I wished i had 10% of his craftsmenship.
I do love this jig. If I ever needed to profile circular blanks, this is the way to go.
As usual, fantastic work & another amazing jig! 👍👍👍👍
Another genius build. Bravo.
a perfection in terms of comfort for the milling circle that is easy to replicate. Greetings from Germany
This has to be the best build video I have ever seen.
It's always a pleasure to watch your videos.
... apenas mostrar a imagem, isto é fantástico !
Excellence in design and execution as always. You set a very high benchmark!
Brilliant idea and simple to make thanks for posting
Absolutely out standing.
Thanks for sharing
Honest wizard teaching us woodworking miracles👍
Der Typ ist so was von krass! Arbeitet super sauber, Qualität auf echt hohem Niveau! Ich kann eine Menge von ihm lernen. Gerne abonniert.
Love your videos, i learn so much. great work
Felicitaciones, maestro!!
One of the best think I found in this channel is Callibration Love it
You're so inventive it's jaw-dropping! Seen so many fun and innovative solutions from you. I like your wooden ideas, because I can also do them at home.
As usual: looks simple but works as a charm and with an impeccable execution. Love your jiggs and plan to make several of them. Keep up the good work.
I almost strangle me regularly when routing. This is so perfect!
Great the jig also the building instructions are perfect 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
Once again another great video; *well done JSK!* I can't imagine the number of people who use the helpful jigs that you've designed and built.
*Question:* would you consider making a piece of furniture that involves using many of the jigs that you've made over the years? It would allow your viewers the opportunity to build the same piece with you, and see the jigs in action as intended, and give them an opportunity to see your talents on full display.
I’d consider it
Toujours au TOP !...Bravo...
Slick. Nice build. Great video, thanks!
BEAUTIFUL! Thanks for sharing!
Nice job as usual. We shared this video on our homemade tools forum this week 😎
Toujours surprenant... Merci pour la vidéo...👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
Love that drill press, and the copper.mallet.
THIS is amazing (and so unbelievable simple)
Genial, parabéns pela criatividade!!!🤌👏👍
Awesome
Precision craftsmanship!!!!
What a great idea to have ball bearings locating router, I like it.
Two tenths of millimeter is very accurate for woodwork!
Massimo from Italy . Beautiful! Truly professional work! The shape of the panel seems to me to be Captain Han Solo's Millennium Falcon! 👍👍😉
man u make the best jigs I've seen ever. How is it u never have cuts on ur hands either bro? U are a brilliant woodworker too btw. I love to come over here for the best tips and stuff about this woodworking game. U make it look so easy.
Do u do online woodworking courses or anything like that my friend??
I'm about to begin looking for some really good courses so I can get a handle on the fundamentals of this great craft. Keep doing what ur doing man bcos It's inspiring a new generation of ppl all the time..I'm a massive fan of this channel. It's brilliant to watch
This person is a frikken genius!
You are not only a woodworker but also a great engineer. One point of improvement if I may be so bold. @15:27 The screw can also go on the top bit of the two pieces that hold the pin in place. That way you can lay the jig on the project and clamp it on the right position using measurements drawn on the project.
👍👍
Its a bit an improvement😉
but not for small circles, under the diameter of base router
just a small addition to your magnificent solution: a system that keeps the plexiglass in position to prevent it from lifting during rotation, perhaps creating a step on the outer edge of the plexiglass in which a series of T-shaped turrets engage: two fixed and one mobile to allow disassembly of the jig
Wow, amaizing job, so helpful
Excellent. I liked it 👍
You sir are a master.
Perfeito ! Preciso. Muito bom.

At last a real man who knows his stuff and shows you how it is done. Nor a verbose low IQ show off, which the You Tube is overloaded with. I am going to feed my cat now, after that I will look a bit more of what you have to show. Your tools look good. Subscribed. Bloke from Aus.
OMG! That is so cool. I’ve got to make it
A transfer punch set, would be very handy for marking more precise hole placement.
Lovely addition to your list of excellent jigs and fixtures.
Brilliant. I just wish I had half your skills! 😄
I would be even happier with A TENTH of his skills, and I am an engineer with 42+ years of experience...
My congratulations and admiration.😀
Excellent idea...
I bet some companies have this design in production already. A masterful execution and solution in one.
Amazing job
GREAT DIY
Tks, from Miami Fl USA
Really efficient! 👏
Super everything you do, and super videos with top quality. I love your presentation style to the max. I would have (technically) added an elastic ceiling mount in front of you to hold my vacuum hose suspended about 50-100cm above the work table. For the hose situation at 0:12 in the movie. Or at minute 16:22. Maximum respect. ❤💯😍
Like always nice clean work👍 But I have noticed that when you need holes with fostnerbits icluted and a smaller hole in the centre of the fostnerbithole. Start with the fostnerbit, it more stable, in fackt so stable that you can hit center of a pencilmark or a point. When you come with the smaller drill a centermark is already there from the fostnerbit. The are if you use a bigger drill and have to drill small holes to, start with the big one otherwise you have no stirringcenter for the big drill, and inacucie can occure.
This is just ment as a hint. Keep up your beautifull work!
wonderfull idears. Always inproving your work with very god solutions a pleasure to watch!
I thought so!
There is such an idea.
However, your method creates burrs when using a small drill.
It is cumbersome to remove.
My method does not generate burrs in the center, and since it is clamped, the center does not shift.
My method can work very efficiently.
@@jisakukobo About the burr you got a pointe.! It was just ment as a hint. Maybe you sometimes drill by hand then it´s god to bear in mind. I know that there are a lot of way to reach the goel. There are no rigts and no wrong!
Happy working!
Yes.
In fact, in situations where clamping is not possible, I would machine a large hole and then a small hole.
I think it is important to consider the appropriate procedure according to the working situation.
Large hole first, small hole first. Sometimes I drill the smaller pilot into the clamped table and install a wood pin to keep work piece centered or even slide the pinned hole over to pivot the work piece or drill regular holes in a row.
Very usefull and informative video, verynice
practical and elaborate mouthed 👌👌👍👍
you are a genius
Fantastic!
Good job sir
Excellent 👏👏👏
Amazing! Sugoi!
Nice job.
Perfection!
I use a brass bushing in the router base plate and a hole of the same diameter in the circle jig.
nice workshop altogether
I saw this design few weeks back on another channel. It is easy to be build and easier to put and remove the router
Many channels have similar jigs.
However, the way they are made is often very crude.
They don't have any knowledge of engineering, and many of them are just appearances.
My method is functional and rational.
My channel introduces how to make practical jigs by applying engineering knowledge.
However, I understand that for someone without engineering knowledge, it is impossible to spot the difference.
@@jisakukobo I agree that your tools are super high quality. They look better than what we can buy in stores. But I wouldn't say other versions are crude. I am sure it's quite usable.
Amazing, you're brilliant, every time I see new, but I wonder why production companies didn't invite you as a product designer?!
I'm sorry to say that it's a very complicated jig for something so simple when all you need is an router bushing to do the same thing
Very Good Job Brother 👏👏👏 Excellent
AAAAAAAAAAAAAwesome!!!!! You must be a genius!!!!!!!!!
Brilliant!
Superb!
Impressive.
Sensacional...
Oh, jumed too soon. I see the plans Thank you.
Great idea! Does the plans include. source for the hardware or at least a description of each piece?
