You can actually replace the wall nuts you just have to buy the perk thats lets you replace them
11:11 you can replace them, but only once you unlock the shop in the pool levels, it's an upgrade called wall-nut first aid, which allows you to "heal" walnuts, tall nuts, and pumpkins by placing another one on them
@vqqiu2179 well it's like using aloe in pvz2, you're not replacing it, you're healing it. In fact, it's more efficient to wait until they are fully eaten to maximize their health

Will Zomboss even be beatable? The fight basically requires the use of Jalapeño and Ice Shroom multiple times.
I decided that for the zomboss fight I will use only the plants I have up to that point infinitely because zomboss can just throw a bus and destroy everything and there’s nothing I can do about it
@@packmaineuessyou can use the 1 lane trick for that level and I believe it will let you do it without consumable. Might be worth looking into that
@@lazykb Even with the one lane trick, Zomboss can still use the fire/iceball attacks; essentially wiping out his entire lineup.
It's just not possible to beat Zomboss without losing a plant. The fight's not really balanced around the idea of not losing any plants.

Healing your wallnuts is an upgrade. You can buy upgrades later in the game at Crazy Dave's car.
in case you're not aware yet, replacing a walnut is a crazy dave item
You need to buy the wallnut repair in the shop
You need to beat the game 1st

I can understand wanting to increase the difficulty, but I feel like shoveling should be allowed. It's the PvZ equivalent of recalling a Pokemon.

Recalling a Pokémon is different because you sacrifice tempo to do it. For most plants, there is no difference between shoveling a plant right as it’s about to die and letting the plant die.
@zaxtonhong3958 Shoveling a plant as its about to die defeats the entire point of the challenge.
Shoveling a plant to reposition it when it's not in danger, however, should be allowed.

If you place the wall nut closer to your house then the zombies would take much longer to damage it. The whole yard doesn't need plants, at least those are my thoughts. Came close to losing them cuz you put them right on top of the zombie

you could plant two sunflowers behind the first shooter to keep more lawn mowers open in case there's any stronger zombs starting on that lane
I think esp for the early levels you're planting too many sunflowers, you already have a ton of sun excess and the extra space protects your plants

Pro tip as someone who plays this game all the time
You’ll be safe just making a row of peashooters, once you see a cone head, then that’s your time to put one down cause of there fast reload time. I beat the whole game with just snow peas. Not even a pole vaulter can even get close
Especially with pole vaulters, they can’t even come close to a snow pea sense there so overpowered it’s not even funny

I don’t know if it helps, but one peashooter can solo a conehead if placed to the far left (1st or 2nd column)

Make sure to never use chili pepper or iceshroom, dr zomboss will be really hard without them.
Even then he can only use 1 of each in zomboss
You can still remove the plants with a shovel if they haven't done anything to the zombies.

you could still use potato mines and explosion plants ones right? you could even use potato mines many times in one level since they only explode later and you could plant multiple before that.
i feel like the POWIE potato things should count as being destroyed if the cherries are, right?
Very unique concept, but right off the bat before watching I'm kinda just worried about the conveyor belt levels. ESPECIALLY Doctor Zomboss, where, per your rules, you won't be able to use Jalapeno or Ice Shroom more than once...
Which is why (due to the uncounterable nature of the things Dr Zomboss does) I’ll be allowed to use all the plants I’ve accumulated up to that point

A few things
-I would consider shoveling plants to be fine, since it's essentially switching out a Pokemon.
-If you use one of the upgrade plants, like Gatling Pea or Cattail, and it gets eaten, does it count for both the original and upgraded variant?
this challenge is kinda easy low key the shoveling should be still a thing
I would make so if they’ve taken damage you can’t shovel them
That would pretty much make the challenge void. Every time a plant is about to be eaten, you can just shovel it and be fine

Replacing a plant is just digging it up and planting a new one in one swift motion. This means that if replacing a plant was a feature you couldn't use it because it is still digging up the plant meaning the plant gets destroyed and by the rules of the Nuzlocke, you can't use it.
