Irish Wolfhounds Nell reintroduced to her brother & sister

- 4 1/2 year old Nell has been here (back with her breeder) for almost a week and has made huge progress adjusting to living with a pack of Wolfhounds. Only 2 more to meet and she will be part of a pack of 11 that live in our home ❤️

I really appreciate how you communicate with your dogs, both verbally and non verbally through touch. It is quite apparent you understand your dogs’ needs and thinking and how to communicate with them. When you take the dogs out for walks, you know just which ones to pair with each other for best companionship. I started following you after looking at several Irish Wolfhound pages because I found I admire how you interact and understand your dogs the best. I have an American Alsatian, a newer breed, who is my service dog with strong genetic ties to her Irish Wolfhound bloodlines. I wanted to watch the breed in action so I could better understand some of my dog’s natural instincts and behaviors. I have always admired the Irish Wolfhound breed when I saw them while I was showing in the AKC obedience circuit. I thank you for all you do in breeding excellent dogs, giving these dogs a wonderful and satisfying life, promoting the breed, and sharing them with us around the world. You have a beautiful home and even more beautiful dogs! I have a black German shepherd wolfhound mix 160lbs. He's very beautiful now too he will He was a rescue that had been run over and the vets wanted to cut his leg off after he'd spent a week at the Kill Dog Shelter. A Beautiful woman that runs El Dorado County German shepherd rescue She Saved him and me! I Had 11 deaths and 4 years including my 3 dogs my husband my mother,2 Cousins & several good friends. I've been grieving very hard when I got a call asking to Foster this dog. He was literally skin on bone... Hard to tell his hair 5ins.long. give me something to live& love 4 again. He's a little crippled because he'd been run over and neglected for so many months. I LOVE him so much! I have a pond & a Creek too. I swam him for months instead of having his leg cut off. Has a limp when he walks but runs like the wind 🥰😊
I've had shepherds, Newfoundland, English mastiff,& golden retriever but never a Wolfhound. I love big dogs I just wish they lived like birds for 50 - 70 years. 💔 Thanks for sharing your🐾 beautiful animals. Wish I could figure out how 2 sendU a picture of my Bubba. 😖🥰

I miss my wolfhound Rory . I had a lot if property then. But he loved being in the house. You have an ideal set up for your dogs plus you have patience thats why they are so well behaved . living in Ca. now i have 3 australian labradoodles which are great dogs. I would love to spend a couple of days with your hounds. They are so gentle and regal. thanks for sharing them with us!!
I love Irish wolfhounds so much, they're my favorite breed. Im a dog groomer, so I see and work with so many breeds, but the Irish Wolfhound is the best!

We were hiking along the side if the Konigsee (a large lake) in germany on a single track path. Our wolfhound "Tawny" was running back and forth checking on us. She fell over the side of the cliff to the water about 10 feet below. She went clear under, but came up swimming. There wasnt anything for her to get out of the water on , no beach... There was one small tree halfway down the cliff, i dropped my backpack and climbed over the edge, hanging on to the tree, and called Tawny over to me. When she swam over to me, i grabbed her collar and hoisted her back up the cliff with one hand while hanging on tightly to tree with the other. When she was back on the trail, she shook a bit with the adrenaline and scare she had just experienced. We told her to stay in line on the trail and not run back and forth. She was very smart and complied.

I’m in love. You are so fortunate to not only have the dogs, but to live where you do... I just want to hang out with all of them in a big dog pile. My dream is to have an Irish Wolfhound.

Gary White thank you, that is great. Our lot certainly do well on their diet, don’t forget to include plenty fresh meat and fish, tinned sardines are so beneficial and so much cheaper than tinned dog meat ❤️

We have a dog look likes an Irish wolfhound but we are not sure if she is one, how to know if she is?
Could be a Scottish deerhound? Male deerhounds look like very skinny female wolfhounds
