Burroughs Mountain Loop Trail

8/4/2024 is Free National Park day, and I have made reservation for Sunrise. We went to Sunrise Entrance about 1.5 hour early than our allocated entry time. We had to wait outside for a while. The good news: parking at Sunrise was much easier today. I like it, well done.
The trail is great, the view of Mt Rainier is unbelievable, so close, never felt that close. We went clockwise. Along the trail, there are magnificent 360 degree mountain views besides Rainier. Frankly I didn't realize there is a deep Valley between Burrough #2 and Burrough #3. We had barely enough water to cover the whole hike. So, bring enough water. BTW, this trail was named the best hike in Washington State by Travel and Leisure.
