I’ve never watched Miraculous so I was always under the impression based on his design, Nino was a nerdy, awkward character who wasn’t well-liked by the student body. Learning that he’s supposed to be the cool dude is hilarious to me and such a shame that they went what route they did with his design.
i think i he was supposed to be what his design implied originally, some of the episodes in S1, especially Origins makes him look quite angsty and reseved

@ethancox9737 Don't know about them but for me it's cause it's more healthier I was a massive Adrienette shipper in the past, made fanart and fanfics off them. However, I've grown up and saw that their "relationship goals" doesn't match with my morals? ethics? Something like that. The show started to really write them as toxic in my eyes and I can't find myself to look at something that's bad and still want to ship it. Especially when they themselves try to show that the "bad" is actually good/okay or doesn't acknowledge it. Unless it's a love square fanfic, they're my guilty pleasure and the love stories are good.
The sibling dynamic ending for marinette and Adrien was a route I never considered before but this rewrite makes me really like the idea given the amount of changed content you’ve provided and it makes me wish we got a conclusion like this instead of

I’m so happy with what you did with this story. I hate how in the end of mlb Adrien doesn’t even find out that Hawkmoth was his father and they even build a statue of him. It’s disgusting that they ended the story like that after everything he did to the citizens and his son it just feels like they were trying to brush everything he did off. Your rewrite has an actual good story and plot-points that makes sense so it’s great to all of your hard work coming to a conclusion.
Ironic me and my friends were just arguing about mlb and especially Nino bc he has the most basic design out of everyone in the show I brought up how he was kinda needs to get a backbone I said I would also try and redesign the characters for my own mlb and I just find it funny you uploaded this also I love your take on Nino 🩷

Turn the kwamis to humans and let them have their memories as well while marinette and Adrian are now around 17_18 have them gets reborned have them meet marinette and Adrian again while mari and adrian can't tell who they are and have marinette and Adrian eventually dying and the last minutes of the show could be the kwamis and marinette and Adrian's friends who are still alive visiting their graves with the sunset have a beautiful tree growing next to their graves show them put flowers on their graves. Show chloe telling them how much they helped her show alya crying with nino comforting her while he himself is crying silently show the kwamis being proud of them and how they lived. And the last seconds shows the tree that has now grown to be as large as an apartment and have the whole place become somr kind of a park with kids playing around and having fun
A hell of a lot better than the cinematic disaster that is season 5. You should be the writer for miraculous ladybug with your creative storytelling and designs.

Seeing this epilogue, I couldn't happen but wonder that I picked some of your plot points in my version of Miraculous (although I need to point out that, in my version, Marinette reveals her heroic identity to Luka in Truth, not in an epilogue). And I'm totally gonna steal your idea of Marinette and Adrien being siblings because Lukanette and Adrigami are also canon in my AU.
@@ethancox9737 I did that at first, but thinking more 'bout Recreation and the way Thomas made Adrien a fucking PRIZE to Marinette made me realize that no matter how I could rewrite Adrienette, it doesn't change the fact that the basis of the relationship is an obssession that she has for him (and don't come at me with Derision, because that's just Thomas trying to excuse his choice to award Marinette with Adrien saying "ShE hAs TrAuMa, So It'S Ok FoR HeR tO StAlK hEr CrUsH"), so I don't feel like giving Thomas this little joy. And also, Luka and Kagami are more complementary to Marinette and Adrien, respectively, more than Marinette is to Adrien, so there's that too.

It just feels hollow and cynical, you know? Like a cheap and unsatisfying death a la Harley Quinn shooting Batman in the face on a park bench. I feel like something more could be done with the kwamis and the miraculous. Maybe they ascend and become a part of nature itself. They're supposed to be higher beings, after all. I like the idea of them fulfilling some grander purpose within the narrative that is meant to help others as opposed to harming them. Maybe the humans have them all imprisoned. Maybe they had their powers stolen by humanity for the use of their own selfish whims and ambitions and the end goal of miraculous could be to free them from the control of humanity. Kind of like how Aladdin frees the Genie from his servitude. And so the kwamis are then returned to their natural state, being one with nature and life itself. Marinette and Tikki are never truly apart as Tikki has now assumed her natural form. She will always be with Marinette via the mundanities of life. Maybe even through the eyes of a ladybug. I kinda like that angle better as opposed to the Kwamis just dying.

You probably don’t remember me but I left a comment on the last Miraculous redesign video talking about some things I wanted to see in the resolution for the rewrite and oh my god, this was absolutely perfect. It was everything that I wanted to see and handled so masterfully as well. Thank you for doing Miraculous justice, I always thought it was such a shame that such an interesting concept was ruined by lazy writing and subpar animation 🙏
I watched season 5, and it's a mixed bag, everyone doesn't like the season finally but likes the Emo version of the characters special because spoilers for people who care: They wrote out Adrien/Chat/Cat noir and Ladybug/ Marinette dealt Hawk moth, and he died with everyone thinking he was a hero because Marinette agreed to lie for him “for Adrien's sake”. People liked the reverse Au special because the characters had emotional arcs that actually effected them, it's not perfect, but I see the appeal.
Nino wasnt a bad character... but! He started to become jealous and toxic when he thought alya was flirting with chat noir. Accusing her, stalking, gaslighting, and yelled at Adrien about how annoying chat is. I get it, hormones or simply he was overthinking and didnt know adrian was chat noir. But he blew up at them and still was given a miraculous even when he was a known holder

I've spent the past few days binging through the rewrite series and omg... I absolutely LOVE how you wrapped everything up. All the designs are so cool, and your art style is literally so tasty. I feel like I would have enjoyed the show a LOT more if you had written it lmao
Something I always despised about Nino is that he's supppsed to be cool and a source of suppprt for Adrien, but he comes off as cringey and (like everyone else) sees Adrien's dad as "overbearing" instead of toxic and manipulative.

In my version of Miraculous, Adrien and Marinette are close friends but people always assume that they were dating which tends to make them uncomfortable. I like the sibling route you did and I should consider that for my version.
The only thing I want out of this series after evreything is felix and aidrien talking about something anything even. I just adore their relaton in this au and I wanted to see more out of it
I like Nino fine, but he certainly was forgettable both in looks and just barely saying/doing much (not counting his moments with the miraculous turtle.) Since he is extroverted I would've like to see him come into being more fashionable, sure Adrien isn't the type to impose anything or give out favors but I see Nino taking interest in those things by association with his best bud. And hey Calli, it's cool if you don't want to continue this. If you're not enjoying it, we all understand and support you. 👍☺️👌

Callimara, I have a suggestion for you. Can you create a comedic take on Fire Lord Ozai from Avatar: The Legend of Aang. I want to see on what he can do as an comedic villain. The only thing you said about Ozai being a comedic villain is that: Ozai sits on his throne room in some episode, raising and cletching his fist saying "I'm going to find you Avatar, I swear it." If he is a comedic villain, I'd imagine Ozai being less cold-hearted and Ursa left him and divorce to him and go with Ikem. Also, Zuko personally knows Ikem and is great step-dad to Zuko.
Can I give my little headcanon for the redesign? Nino still needs glasses but he prefers to use contacts, I don't think he dislikes glasses but just prefers not having to worry about them.
Or he needs them for reading or long distance like the board in school so he doesn’t wear them all the time just when they are needed and even then he sometimes forgets to put them on.

I watched season 5, and it's a mixed bag, everyone doesn't like the season finally but likes the Emo version of the characters special because spoilers for people who care:
They wrote out Adrien/Chat/Cat noir and Ladybug/ Marinette dealt Hawk moth, and he died with everyone thinking he was a hero because Marinette agreed to lie for him “for Adrien's sake”.
People liked the reverse Au special because the characters had emotional arcs that actually effected them, it's not perfect, but I see the appeal.

Nino wasnt a bad character... but! He started to become jealous and toxic when he thought alya was flirting with chat noir. Accusing her, stalking, gaslighting, and yelled at Adrien about how annoying chat is. I get it, hormones or simply he was overthinking and didnt know adrian was chat noir. But he blew up at them and still was given a miraculous even when he was a known holder
I wasn’t expecting to start crying at the end of this 😭😭 watched your whole rewrite in like 6 hours, it’s absolutely incredible!!

I've spent the past few days binging through the rewrite series and omg... I absolutely LOVE how you wrapped everything up. All the designs are so cool, and your art style is literally so tasty. I feel like I would have enjoyed the show a LOT more if you had written it lmao
Something I always despised about Nino is that he's supppsed to be cool and a source of suppprt for Adrien, but he comes off as cringey and (like everyone else) sees Adrien's dad as "overbearing" instead of toxic and manipulative.
In Nino’s defense with that last part he can only go with what he’s seen himself and Adrian has told him.
@@kaitlinowens2714 I think he could've read between the lines, ie Gqbriel frequently punishing Adrien by putting him under house arrest and preventing him from socializing or going to school.
In my version of Miraculous, Adrien and Marinette are close friends but people always assume that they were dating which tends to make them uncomfortable. I like the sibling route you did and I should consider that for my version.

I like Nino fine, but he certainly was forgettable both in looks and just barely saying/doing much (not counting his moments with the miraculous turtle.) Since he is extroverted I would've like to see him come into being more fashionable, sure Adrien isn't the type to impose anything or give out favors but I see Nino taking interest in those things by association with his best bud.

Callimara, I have a suggestion for you. Can you create a comedic take on Fire Lord Ozai from Avatar: The Legend of Aang. I want to see on what he can do as an comedic villain. The only thing you said about Ozai being a comedic villain is that: Ozai sits on his throne room in some episode, raising and cletching his fist saying "I'm going to find you Avatar, I swear it." If he is a comedic villain, I'd imagine Ozai being less cold-hearted and Ursa left him and divorce to him and go with Ikem. Also, Zuko personally knows Ikem and is great step-dad to Zuko.
Can I give my little headcanon for the redesign? Nino still needs glasses but he prefers to use contacts, I don't think he dislikes glasses but just prefers not having to worry about them.
Or he needs them for reading or long distance like the board in school so he doesn’t wear them all the time just when they are needed and even then he sometimes forgets to put them on.
