The thruster is actually really useful. It can be spawned instantly like a kosatka sparrow via the avenger menu, and you can enter the avenger while flying it. You can also enter the avenger via this method WHILE IT’S MIDAIR when autopilot is on, so now you aren’t functionally ditching the plane if you decide to jump with no remaining passengers as you can get back to it now. I highly recommend the upgrade
What if I already own the thruster?
@@TacPhoenix I think you just need to put the thruster in there and it'll stay
@@TacPhoenix it’s separate. Once you buy the upgrade, a dedicated thruster (that matches your avenger’s paint job) will be given to you regardless if you own one or not. You cannot upgrade it or place it in a garage. Think of it as the avenger’s equivalent to the kosatka’s sparrow, it works almost exactly the same way

The missiles on the avenger are actually useful regardless. One of the avengers main problems was jets. Unlikely you'll kill them with the missiles but you will force them to circle and get some breathing room for your gunner to shoot. Good for ground targets too.
Never really thought of it like that, though Strategies I used in the past were simply circling with the enemy while the gunners did all the work.
@@Pyrerealmgaming I would use that too, but it really doesn't work as an solo player sadly. the missiles are a godsend!
@@Pyrerealmgaming common tactic when using a helicopter against a jet. You aren't trying to win with them. Forces them off you for a bit or face an explosive end.
I normally use it on opressors, but since the avenger is so high HP, you can easily just ram into enemy planes to kill them and survive if needed, you can even get hits on with the mgs
3:00 correction, you dont have to SHOOT at the boxes. just keep your camera pointed for like 2 seconds at it

Really? it only seemed to happen when I shot at them lol, I mean it made sense for a video game sorta logic... like walking over ammo to auto collect it :P

@@Pyrerealmgaming You both forgot the part of them making the enemies now able to track and shoot you perfectly fine when your underwater, unless you dive down to over 100m depths. Anything below 100m below the surface and those things will try to and will hit you. If your over 100m below the surface, they wont even try. Bunch of geniuses, lets give them access to miniguns on helis and make mission where they have to swim and dive while being shot by borderlining aimbotting AI heli miniguns, unless they dive down till they die. Great mission desing, the devs seem to be operating as hivemind with only single braincell only thinking of money
They added the pilot weapons to the avenger because they know that the majority of players play by themselves, which makes the avenger useless in combat against NPCs. If you notice, all the updates that they've added since Cayo Perico have been solo friendly or focused, alongside some recent changes to things that were once only available to at least two players but have now made them available to solo players.

Solo on this mission is near impossible. You get shot at by 2/3 helikopters at once when you’re completely exposed during the swimming.
@@mdv3435 and even if you shoot down the helicopters new ones spawn before you can swim to the cargo and back to shore, and the hit you hard even underwater.

Bombushka is actually broken, so it's completely useless. The turrets no longer function properly. The guns won't fire if you move the camera more than about 20-25 degrees from straight ahead.
It needs to be fixed

I'm going to assume this dude doesn't fly around in this vehicle a lot. This is actually one of my go to aerial vehicles and these upgrades look amazing. Not only can you enable a missile jammer (which the thing is already very durable) but you can have pilot weapons now? One of the major downsides of this vehicle were having to go into the menu, enable auto pilot and then go into the hold (which can take up to a whole minute plus for the transition) just to sit down at a turret and engage someone. Now you just have access to guns right off the bat without having to do any of that. These upgrades are OP asf for this vehicle.
The missile jammer apparently only works while in auto pilot, while not moving, so they can just manually aim

1.4 million for a set of missions is quite expensive!
At least we have ways to protect ourselves while using the avenger by ourselves. I mean when we pilot the avenger on our own, we can use the new weapons from the Missiles and machine guns or use the jammers to hide long enough to access the cannons.
The reason why I hardly use the avenger is because when someone fights me they would uses a oppressor or a jet sometime and destroy my avenger by the time I man the cannons…only a bot would walk right up to a avenger and fight it head on.
Still, it’s my favorite service vehicle because it’s perfect to transport me and my deluxo. Picture this: when I arrive to my current destination with the Avenger I switch to auto pilot, go into the hold, get in my deluxo and sky dive with the car ready for anything. It’s a shame that I can’t load the deluxo into the avenger while it’s in the sky. I would’ve kept the avenger on the map for hours per game.
Got my Avenger upgraded and put it straight back into its facility. 😂
Seems silly it having a unique space and not using it.
Shame you can't utilize two Avengers for both its exclusive spaces, but personally I think it looks weird in the facility since its wingspan does not fit the entrance nor through the elevator's pillars.
Ik the real thing can pivot its entire wing assembly to the side but the ingame version only shortens the wingspan a bit (somehow).
Did the first story mission solo, would have been easier if I'd added the missiles first.

I'm a tad annoyed that we apparently can 't customize the Avenger Thruster, but it's handy.
Im more annoyed that you can't just put the one we already own in that storage slot.

The story missions seem to be designed in a way that forces you to play coop or else just have a frustrating time.
I don't know, I managed to beat them all solo in about 2 hours, only the last one seemed kind of annoying because you can't push the cargo and shoot at the same time
Felt like they were pretty easy
Ho much money do they get you? And which vehicles will be cheaper after doing them?
@@christophhaas5696 You will need to run the LSA Operation missions around twenty times to recoup the cost of the operations terminal, that is if you have already bought the avenger. Completing all the story missions the first time around gets you 250k.
@Rui Wang If the missions paid like 40K it would've been worth it🤦🏽♂️I got paid 16k for the last fkn mission. Even the 250k couldn't it up for the lack of payment

you wouldn't find the AI bad if you played the 3rd mission on hard...
on solo you would have to destroy 6 Helicopters, 9 Jets and 2 Avengers with more health (they also seem to have a higher chance of hitting you with the cannons and they are fast and
maneuverable) All that in the same time btw. I would like to see you complete that on solo.
As someone who did that mission on hard as solo, that shit was pure unending pain. Those avenger gets one tapping my plane constantly no matter what i tried, i even tried the strat on video aka sit on in front of them and spam MG, got tapped by their gunner. For future attempts, clear out the helis and planes, they are faster than the avenger so you can pretty easily split them off and handle them while the avengers are out of range, once they are all down, lead the plane moded avenger to Ratyon canyon and fly low, it will nearly always crash and kill it self, leaving you with just the heli moded one, which dont even bother trying to crash it, i tried that thing was upside down on the bridge with properells running for like 2 mins and didnt take single bit of dmg, that one your gonna have to shoot down. FYI, yes the avengers are always one in heli mode and one in plane mode, one is faster than the other pretty sure you can guess which, but that speed difference will help when flying them to Ratyon to take the plane one down easily, since the heli will be at the start of it, so you can flip half way in and lead it out of there so you can leave stealth without getting hit with SAM

Fly through the wind farm and make them blow themselves up. Worked for me. I’ve heard they also glitch if you fly back to Zancudo
6:00 they're actually not infinite, I had to kill like 200 dudes but they did stop spawning when I was playing solo, also in the IAA raid mission on the right of the terminal behind the lowest staircase spawn 3 enemies, you kill one look away and he respawns, and they randomly spawn in the interogation rooms too even though you just cleared it...
The thruster is good because it’s the only weaponized vehicle that allows you to fly while in passive.
Except the avenger thruster isn’t weaponised

From testing it seems to be nearly impossible to hit the avenger with the lock on jammer with an oppressor
Yeah the Avenger health was annoying AF, i ended up just flying to that build that's been under construction since the game's inception and eventually they both crashed trying to get to me. Saved me a bunch of time and effort
Also if do the missions on the right you will get new outfits one from each mission

If you do the mission where you airstrike merryweather bases I’f you go to the nightshark for uniforms you can keep the merryweather uniforms too

@@someguyontheinternet.3318 it’s a freemode mission I forget the name rn but basically you go to hack a smuggler phone then go to a nightshark and take it a merryweather base, place tracers on marryweather shipments, leave the base, call in the airstrike, then hijack a armored vehicle and go deliver it to the LSA garage

Stealth mode upgrade is better than the lock on jammer cause it only works in auto pilot mode
Well, they didn't patch the glitch where it blows up in a single homing missile when you spawn in from the interaction menu, so I guess we're going to get blown up a lot.
You can add the terminal in the app where you upgrade everything else
I did these missions in stealth solo, so there's other experiences to be had.
The Avenger is so insane even before I upgraded it. I logged on and couldn’t figure out how to switch to plane mode (I am still rocking my Xbox One S) so I was an easy target and some B11 comes out of nowhere and starts attacking me. I took so many hits but was still airborne. He even ended up detaching a propeller and it still was flying.
How do you use the flares/chaff and the stealth in the Avenger (which buttons specifically)?
I can't seem to figure out either one lol
@@paynekiller75 A copilot must be present to activate countermeasures.
The stealth module is only active when you engage autopilot.

The mission when u have to destroy the avenger I’ve never gone through so much boredom
The stealth mode on the avenger is literally broken like as long as your avenger is in stealth mode you can do the godmode van glitch and you are permanently off radar.

@@Pyrerealmgaming I beat the 1st 3 missions to get the cheaper price on the F160 and they were fun-ish. Just more half-assed R* fetch quests tbh. The new jet I think is a solid buy at 5mil though since it makes the other jets obsolete.

What i really hate is the fact that you cant put your own thruster in the avenger, you have to buy a new one, so whats the point of having the facility thruster anymore?

@@JamesBond-xd6vn you have to buy it in the hangar as an upgrade, if you don't own the hangar you can't get the avenger thruster.

Do u need a another person to activate the countermeasures I used to able to use them but now I can't ever since I added missiles and I have veichle countermeasures set to pilot anybody know if countermeasures can be used solo?... And if so wat button is it?
I disagree with using the stealth module because its hard to free aim missiles while being shot at with the avenger cannons. This is for the autopilot defenses
I love the avenger and with upgrades like this will make it so much easier to do stuff sometimes I need to do something so auto pilot or I needed to get turrets anti missile lock great and if. Need to go off map for few mins there are ghost operation and off radar not permanent but still works for the time
Breaking Ranks- yes,buggy for sure. I was told to stay under Rooster in his helicopter because he had a signal jammer and the jets wouldn't blow me up.....well Rooster got stuck at the prison and would move. No matter what I did. So I resarted it and he didn't stay the next time and I finished it.

Bro i don't know why but the avengers in the third mission were INSANE for me, one of them literally dodged two missiles point blank before blowing my ass out of the sky
Same and I had a bug where some missiles didin't do any damage
In my case they did the exact opposite, the gunners decided to quit their jobs in the middle of the dogfight so the avenger did absolutely nothing
They really should of just let us use the thruster from the doomsday heist in the avenger. I would of preferred an upgrade to add a Jetpack slot in and be able to store it like the mk2 in the terrobyte. I barely used the Jetpack and it would of been a great way to make it more useful than buying a new one that can’t be upgraded.
You can't use the thruster from the Doomsday Heist because to Rockstar that would make sense they can't be doing that😅
What is the pay out for completing the final mission why didn't you include it lol??
best update simply because they finally added the toggle sprint option, no more button mashing required
The only problem is that it locks your character into jogging full-time. Which makes triggering certain objectives or task very annoying. I ended up turning it off and just using first person if I need to sprint for long periods.

If u can trick the ai on the enemy avenger to fly low it dies if it hits sonething
The rockets on the avenger are terrible because they have a cooldown like the buzzard like why couldn't it have sparrow rockets you can spam because they aren't like old oppressor mark 2 rockets where you were always dead if someone targeted you

So the avenger with the required cost is 2.9 million and I see a 250k bonus for completing the missions first time. Does anyone know how much you make off the new update...?
250 + 15x6 for overthrow mission and roughly 150k for the lsa missions

The fact you only get 250k for doing all the new missions is a bit stinky, especially after spending 1.4mil on the upgrade
On hard for “on parade”, there’s 2 avengers it’s so dumb and they’re both as strong as the one you fought
