- Many songs from the Tamil Films have been ignored periodically for reasons best known to no one. Especially, never or rarely attempted in any reality shows, stage shows or competitions.
When the nation is on a Quarantine, Subhasree Thanikachalam launches this new series.
This series will feature a set of rare songs that are rarely heard, rarely performed and she will also try and give some trivia for the songs.
The songs will all be performed by young singers who came out of her shows, which mainly focussed on old songs. Re programmed and arranged by musicians.

Nowadays it is torture to hear remix singers singing by saying தோலியா for தோழியா 😁😁😁 the present generation of தமிழ் singers cannot sing proper tamizh. But Vinaya and Saindhavi are brilliant and their தமிழ் உச்சரிப்பு is awesome. I can listen to this on loop for a full day 💐❤️ awesome team effort. The instrumental back up is superb💕

Vinaya and Saindhavi did a wonderful job! It is a soothing, melodious presentation. Accompaniments are awesome, no doubt. Nice to see Venkat's children too playing! What a gifted family!! ‘Sangeethame..’ fits well in the stated mission of qfr, it is a rare gem. It is a really difficult one to sing, and Saindhavi rendered it with remarkable elan. Hats off to her, and other artists for putting in so much efforts to bring the performance to this high level of sophistication. Surprise, surprise, the nadhaswaram and thavil were not jarring, but were pleasing on the ears!! Special credits are due to Mylai Karthikeyan and Venkat! May their tribe increase!! Anjani's ever-smiling face hides the efforts she would've put in for such impeccable playing. Overall, this was an excellent treat for the 175th day. Needless to say, we are watching and enjoying qfr daily, equally for Subha's enthusiastic, insightful and authoritative comments as much as for the actual performance!! Raja's genius in composing the pallavi beginning from music lesson! You can notice how nicely he has used lyric letters ending in notes. Thamizh-paa (ends in Paa), Kavidhaigal Thaa (ends in (dha)), thamizhe nalum Nee (touches Ni at that point). This technique is called Swaraksharam in Carnatic circles.
