      I actually like both bikes a lot, but I am a big fan of the Ducati. Will be rocking mine for the foreseeable future. I wouldn’t kick either one out of the stable! I currently ride street only and the Ducati is painful on many levels, but so are fingernails on the back, teeth to nips, or hot wax to the abs! It is strangely gratifying!✊🏽💸🥴👍🏽

      Which fastest and lightest ????

    • @Fearless154
      @Fearless154 Před 4 lety

      @@Ishdeepsingh_ Panigale v4 weights 436lbs or 198kilo and r1 443lbs or 201kilo. Powerwise v4 is much more powerful and faster at the straight line. As far track days go r1 is much easier to ride fast and for the average rider, it'll be faster because how easy and smooth it is. Panigale v4 pulls to violently. It's hard to manage it mid corners. But I heard Ducati fixed the issue with the 2020 model which got v4r's chassis and much smoother throttle map. But I never rode so I can't confirm if the bike is better now.

      @@Fearless154 bro correct me if I'm wrong I ducati is all powerful , I don't think what you just told about R1 out of what I heard R1s power delivery is insane , I'm not sure about the top end , but R1 from the start to the mid , the power delivery is abrupt and I've heard riders say that you could really feel the power compared to other bikes like zx, bmw and the others.
      Like I said am not sure but from what I've heard and known R1s power delivery is definitely not smooth , like that's the characteristics of of crossplane engine. Correct me if am wrong dude

    • @Fearless154
      @Fearless154 Před 3 lety

      @@ragul6356 I"m talking about track riding, not the street R1 is powerful in the mid-range but it makes the power linearly and predictably. R1 is a bit snappy in lower rpm so riding in traffic can be unpleasant but when it gets going it smoothens out.
      On the track, the engine is smooth and easy to use plenty of grunt in a very controllable way.
      characteristics of cross-plane are. sounds like a v4 engine and it produces more midrange compared to flat crank inline 4 but a slightly less top end. it doesn't mean it's not a smooth engine.

    I was in the market for both. I bought the 2021 V4. It had the power to back the looks. I justified part of my decision as: If I'm going to pay nearly 25k for a bike, It's got to look the part. The R1 is a great bike, but I feel the design didn't stand out from other Japanese bikes enough for me. You've uploaded this well over two years ago. I hope you're still enjoying the R1M

    I've ridden both bikes and for the street, the Panigale wins hands down in my opinion. The R1M's spongey feeling brakes, aggresive riding position, no power in the low to mid range, choppy throttle make it tough to enjoy on the street. The R1M does look great though and is around 25% less to purchase.
    I will admit the heat off the V4 would be the only downside for me on the street though.

    From all supersport that i had and had chance to ride...V4S would be one of most comfortable. Part that I dislike a lot was heat under seat...even if you ride fast it is there. On side note u ride basic model V4 and i had chance to ride both and it is big difference. You are also comparing V4 vs R1M.
    If you should to compare you should compare it with V4Special.
    R1M and R1 I hated for the street seat is to high 875mm position is extremely aggressive compared to all others and that bike was made for track only. Throttle response is terrible even after dyno tune and remapping. What i do like is sound and agility.
    S1KRR was very comfortable and very good overall bike for day to day but lack excitement same as all other IL4.
    RSV was fantastic for track and its ok for street. Sound poorn...

    • @TheSpeedBug
      @TheSpeedBug  Před 5 lety +1

      Thank you for watching and your comment. The heat from the Duc is ridiculous. No matter what, it's there. R1M seat is very tall, and i find it to be more comfy than the V4 in my opinion. Throttle before and after my tune was night and day, I am very happy with the outcome. I have had the V4S as well. Here in the video is the base. I actually prefer the base over the S, my preference. S1k is still the best ALL AROUND superbike. RSV is nice and has great sound, in my opinion I think its has to be one of the most ugly bikes almost ever made, but a solid performer cant argue that. Ride safe my guy.
