And then to shit on what they've built up in the first game just to have a grim dark story about revenge is a slap in the face. Imagine if they killed off Nate in Uncharted and then we're playing Elena to avenge him, not many people would accept that either as Nate is an irreplaceable part of the series, same with Joel and Ellie.

I dont care about spending 60 euros for a videogame or even a collectors edition for double the amount. Hell, I constantly buy shit on PSN, Steam and GOG that I play maybe an hour and then never again.

They should have a Japanese company be in charge of plot and ground work and have American company look after relationship and character build. Japanese companies just have a better understanding for plots (usually) but tend to lack character depth and believable relationships(usually).
If you look at finally fantasy 7 where they nailed both aspects quite well... the game ended up being one of the greatest ever. But more often than not Japanese games just lack so much character... and vice versa with American games... (usually not always don’t freak out)
You make a good point! Imo people should look for mangakas and people who are involved with the writing of manga, because those people usually nail both character depth and relations. As well as several other aspects about how to write a story really well, which is luckily why the whole "anime is for weebs" stereotype is slowly dying out with how popular it became over the last few years.With even celebrities and other public figures admitting to watching it now, so it's not looked at as a "nerdy virgin" thing to do anymore but cool and the norm. Imagine getting someone like Oda from one piece to help with a project like video game script.

Normally to leak games is to be frowned on but in this case those who leaked this game did us all a huge favour.
Nah, I believe one of two things. Either someone that works for Naughty Dog gave the info to a friend or something, so that they could leak it, that way it would be more difficult for it be traced back to the employee...OR the leaker does actually work for Naught Dog but SONY doesn’t want it to be known how Naughty Dog treats their employees, so they denied that the leaker is in fact a Naughty Dog employee.
I’m still getting it especially since they pushed back ghost of tushima to make room for this . I probably won’t like the story but the gameplay, graphics and fluidity look great
