@@grant1650 He didn't even make the super two deadline... They don't get an extra year and if he's a top rookie it wouldn't matter either way. They kept him down because he hadn't pitched in almost 9 months and he only threw 6.2 innings in minor league ball before 2024 then just over 27 this year. 27 innings is 1/8th of a season for a starter that throws a full season. The kid was barely even in pro ball, they don't want him burning up his arm immediately.

@@Dan-zs4rkThat was a pretty stupid take. The amount of introverted athletes and personalities is VERY LARGE! He’s a top prospect dating a famous athlete, of course he’ll be on camera. He doesn’t get much choice. It’s much more likely that he’s just a bit shy on camera
I also feel like being at the Air Force academy made him this way. Lots of Military people are just structured and don’t show emotion.

He doesnt rely on spin rate and all that other jazz so he will last longer. The biggest possible future issue is shoulder issues due to his release point. Skenes is more of an old school pitcher.
