Exactly 💯 don't hate cops by any means, but yes, he needs to be fired and prosecuted
What a damn joke, makes me wonder how many other poor bastards this cop has sent to jail that also didn't do anything. Then were convicted based on the dudes report.

A corrupt cop is not an anomaly but when a DA watches a video that contradicts the charges and doesn’t drop the charges, there’s an internal problem. A falsified police report is a felony in my state. It looks like Louisville is charging the wrong person.
The problem is that state prosecutors and the police work so hand in hand that they often protect each other. Imagine how much worse that is in places where the police refuse to get bodycams, like sheriff Grady Judds corrupt department
Lived just down the road from Valhalla in Simpsonville, Kentucky, for five years. Spent a lot of time in the Louisville Metro. To use a golf phrase, this is PAR FOR THE COURSE for Louisville Metro cops. Absolutely the WORST in the country.

Darlington most definitely said visibility was bad, lots of confusion and the police were not clearly distinguishable as police and that Scottie didn't know he was police. Although he should, that officer ain’t making you the Brady list.
Jeff Darlington was in the car behind Scottie, and he said the officer "attached himself to the car." Clearly, Jeff saw the officer being drug, which we can't see in the video because of the busses. Huge misunderstanding for Scottie. This officer should have never grabbed onto the moving vehicle.

@md.mohaiminulislam9618 It happened behind the bus out of view. Hopefully, you're not a real Dr. I feel for your patients
I'm a former law enforcement officer, and in my experience, the officer in this video was clearly posturing and out of control. I've worked with officers who were always looking to assert their authority, and it was a nightmare. The policy where I'm from is that officers on special duty aren't required to wear body cams, and detectives don't usually wear them. Only patrol officers wear body cams.
The thing they don't mention is that there were so many other cops there to witness what happened. They saw first hand that the officer wasn't dragged and then lied and corroborated the fake story. Not a single cop took a moment to say "That's not what happened, he clearly didn't assault an officer". They all willingly corroborated a lie because they are literally trained to do so. American law enforcement is disgusting and I pity those so devoid of morality that they willingly choose to side with the government over the people.

He was dragged 😂😂😂 had to go to hospital 😂😂😂 okay
Fun fact: the Owner of Valhalla CC, tournament host of the PGA Championship rushed out and bailed out Scottie
Because he was imagining the PGA will never come back and the city will lose millions in future revenues.
@@RedBud315 rightfully so
False. Scottie got a PR bond. Stop spreading bs.
@@timkinley1779Bond part is wrong but the pick up was correct. When the richest man in town got up early to try an did this...., the DA, city, and that cop will all be sued into and severe depression. Good for them
If I were the pga, I'd never come back to kentucky
When cops lie in a report, it's just a grammar issue
“Respect my authoritah!”
Should be a federal law that any interaction with a police officer that is not on body camera should automatically have charges dropped.
Do you trust the feds 😂.....
There needs to be recourse for cops not turning in body cams. It’s a joke
Pat needs to broadcast all news stories
Brutal assault 🤦♂️
Cops have been “forgetting” to put their bodycams on for awhile now. Glad we’re all catching on
This is happening to the number one golfer in the world in broad daylight with a ton of people around. Imagine what some of these clowns do when any of those variables are different
LOL, so embarrassing for the State, the City, the Louisville Metro Police Department, the Citizens of the Whole State of Kentucky. And yet they have not dropped charges. Goodbye to Tournament Golf and it's Revenue.
It's what we all thought it was. Louisville looks so bad now.
As someone who went to court to unsuccessfully fight a bullshi** speeding ticket because the officer lied his ass off, I can tell you that without video documentation, it's always going to be your word VS the cop, and the guy with the badge is almost always believed to be telling the truth, while the person who is trying to avoid an undeserved and expensive fine is always viewed as the liar.
I served 25 years as a LEO. Like most people I detest bully cops and this clearly is one. He should be held accountable and the local DA should dismiss this arrest immediately and the Chief of Police should publicly apologize
dude literally waddled to the window
Almost like this happens on the regular, except most people dont have PGA tour money to bail them out
The DA's office should drop all charges and apologize to Scottie. This is ridiculous.
Moral of the story is "don't resist". Pretty funny how a dumb cop can be exposed if you just let it play out.
Can we just see the pants that supposedly were “damaged beyond repair” 😂
This peak physical specimen of a cop probably split the seams of his @$$ “sprinting” at 200 mph to catch Scottie’s vehicle 🙄
