    A corrupt cop is not an anomaly but when a DA watches a video that contradicts the charges and doesn’t drop the charges, there’s an internal problem. A falsified police report is a felony in my state. It looks like Louisville is charging the wrong person.

    Lived just down the road from Valhalla in Simpsonville, Kentucky, for five years. Spent a lot of time in the Louisville Metro. To use a golf phrase, this is PAR FOR THE COURSE for Louisville Metro cops. Absolutely the WORST in the country.

KSP for instance due to ky being so rural had some pretty strict rules in regards to minimum height, weight etc with previous years of experience in either other local LEO or military.. now you dont even need your ged or high school diploma they are begging for cops.

Darlington most definitely said visibility was bad, lots of confusion and the police were not clearly distinguishable as police and that Scottie didn't know he was police. Darlington Also said he expected the charges to be dropped. What is the resentment that makes you feel the video is lying to you?

      Sorry, he was not dragged anywhere! The question…how did this affect Scotties rounds? Who loses…PGA, for not making a supporting comment of Scottie. The Country Club, the PGA for years cannot schedule another tournament there with our getting negative comments and of course the Police themselves! The biggest loser…Scottie himself! He loses a year at the opportunity of winning the PGA. Every day changes life and these cops from Louisville changed Scotties life. Lawsuit, needs to happen!

      Jeff Darlington was in the car behind Scottie, and he said the officer "attached himself to the car." Clearly, Jeff saw the officer being drug, which we can't see in the video because of the busses. Huge misunderstanding for Scottie. This officer should have never grabbed onto the moving vehicle.

    I'm a former law enforcement officer, and in my experience, the officer in this video was clearly posturing and out of control. I've worked with officers who were always looking to assert their authority, and it was a nightmare. The policy where I'm from is that officers on special duty aren't required to wear body cams, and detectives don't usually wear them. Only patrol officers wear body cams.

    The thing they don't mention is that there were so many other cops there to witness what happened. They saw first hand that the officer wasn't dragged and then lied and corroborated the fake story. Not a single cop took a moment to say "That's not what happened, he clearly didn't assault an officer". They all willingly corroborated a lie because they are literally trained to do so. American law enforcement is disgusting and I pity those so devoid of morality that they willingly choose to side with the government over the people.

    Louisville Police Det. Bryan Gillis has been disciplined several times for wrecking his vehicle & missing court, according to his personnel file. He was also suspended 5 days for doing "donuts" in his police vehicle while on duty with an intoxicated civilian in a "Code 3" fashion.

Now for those of you who are not educated, it's not technically possible (in the US) to solely be charged with resisting arrest. There must be a crime or a suspicion of a crime for them to arrest you to begin with. The idiot 21-year-old public defender wanted me to PLEA! I had to waste weeks of my life to get an appt with the assistant DA to finally drop all the charges.
