That rhythm you’re hearing is actually quite common in drumming and it’s called a “herta”. One of the first drummers to play that classic Meshuggah beat was actually Mike Mangini (current Dream Theater drummer) who played the exact beat that you hear in the song “bleed”! Just thought it would be cool to share.
Everyone could literally make that pattern. These people in the chat only listens to Meshuggah.

How do you manage to not get any clacking from your guitar recorded?
The microphone I'm using on the headset is directional. It's only picking up sounds close to it. Couple that with a noise gate and it's pretty decent at keeping out extra sounds.
I love how the green light on the controller gets affected by the chroma key and shines black.

Andrew Murphy that a pretty fair statement considering they never play this live. The reason being Joe is too lazy to relearn it and build that muscle memory again.
It ain't all that different in real guitar, my hand was in so much pain after learning this. It's not even that hard note-wise, but the stamina levels required are through the frickin roof...

The strumming looks harder on guitar hero than real guitar. I've played this song on a real guitar many times but you don't have to pick that hard, but with that thing it looks like you have to hold it the plastic thing with more effort lol
