Jason you have NO IDEA how much this means to me. I discovered Galneryus myself maybe 8 years ago and fell in love with them. Syu really is a master guitarist you would love all of Galneryus other work. Never did I imagine that my favorite CZcamsr would discover this Japanese power metal band that almost no one would ever have heard of. ❤️❤️❤️

@@mycubiclepenguin868 It's hard to explain but basically your eyes sorta plays tricks on you after focusing hard on something like this for so long and when you look at a wall it has the "melting" look. I've had this happen to me before, but I never really described it as a "melting" kinda look.

Hmm, truuuue. If this was, in fact, the beginning of a stream though, that's a million times more impressive.
Even if it's not, that's still godly, regardless.
Jason prepares a bit while the stream is on (pre-stream overlay), then he says hi to chat, and he's bombarded by donos and subs a little bit before hand, so i'm guessing it did crash, as the stream usually takes 20-30 minute sbefore the first song is played.

I don't understand how sightreading is possible. Don't you have to practice the notes, to know what's coming? There could be slight variations, random note in places.
Once you've played the game enough, you more or less get a feel for timing when to hit the notes, so you can look ahead at the "future" notes and react. Some people aren't as good as others, then there are people like Jason, Acai, etc.
It is all about paying careful attention to what is happening. I don't know exactly how to explain, but it all comes with experience. It is like how you could set a piece of music that is in many ways incredibly challenging in front of a professional orchestra, but they have been playing their instruments and learning music for a long enough time that they can understand how the music is likely to progress and they also pay very careful attention to everything that is happening on the sheet of music in order to play it almost perfectly. I'd imagine it's pretty similar to that, except, you know, with a plastic guitar.
Just to chime in here. But is there also a time when playing enough to start to immediately recognise certain patterns and such in notes? Like with the sweeps, once you see those, you pretty much know from the start what you're getting into and what you have to do.
i sightread all of gh3 with fc (well except for ttfaf) so yeah i guess it’s possible
