- Reboot Season 2 is either loved or hated. But this video a focus on the elimination order and my thoughts on each elimination.

Pre-merge order was fine. Post-merge robbed Damien and Raj for the sake of PriyaXCaleb drama that should have died as soon as Zee got eliminated.
It's definitely not that bad.
I would go so far as to say that the pre-merge boot order is PERFECT.
I think it's just a matter of people being pissed off that their favorites didn't go as far as they wanted. But of course, that's all subjective.
Even as a Lauren (Scary Girl) super fan, I can admit that the Pre-Merge boot was almost perfect.
[Personally, I'd swap Nichelle and Ripper's placements.]
Like, from an objective sense, this elimination order is really not that bad. I'd definitely say it's better than World Tour's elimination order. But they way some of these elimination were handled were so contrived, that I think it tainted people's views on the season as a whole.
I honestly don't hate the concept of a double winner or winners making it far. It would even be cool in my eyes, but when there's someone with clearly more potential, that's where I get a little annoyed. This isn't something new in total drama either. Such as Owen in Action and World Tour, Duncan in World Tour, Gwen in All Stars, and so on.
Things I disagree with:
1. I would’ve preferred Emma to stay and have her own arch over Priya
2. I wasn’t mad about Nichelle’s elimination, it seemed fitting
3. I also was happy with Damien’s placement, I didn’t think he needed to go any further
After Mk got eliminated it all went downhill
I swear, the elimination order is actually okay for the most part. People seriously complain about Priya making the final four, but are okay with Owen and Duncan in World Tour. Also, my problems with the elimination don't stem from the order, but how a few of them happen. Like with Damien's idol being stolen by Julia off screen.

I think people are more so upset about the direction they went with priya in her last couple episodes. If you look at Duncan and heather winning their respective seasons most were ok with it even though they made it far in the past. Due to the love triangle I think most aren’t happy about Duncan in world tour because of that reason
People are mad about Priya but like she was literally trained to win total drama lmfao it literally makes sense for her character

I hated the Priya and Caleb drama. So many characters were robbed to continue their story and it's so obvious post-merge. Other than Nichelle, I think pre-merge was perfect.
Millie had so much potential this season and it was a shame that she left so early
I would say s2 actually had a good elimination order. The execution was the reason I disliked how it played out
Perfect order for me:
7-16 same order (same plots and arcs are still the same, though I would have put more confesionals during/right after some eliminations to justify them more: -Priya and Axel saying Bowie was a bigger treat because he reached finals last season and was sketchier than Priya, and Caleb wanting revenge for last season (Julia and Mk organized that vote and Ripper was convinced by Axel)
-Damian saying he was mad at Caleb but madder at zee because he couldn't be trusted [he had more secrets to tell] and Julia and Mk wanting revenge at him for saying their secrets (Caleb and maybe the bros voted for him too [and Priya too or she trew her vote due to her sadness] )
-Priya (and Damian and Caleb) saying that even if they hated Julia Mk was the main cheater this season so they wanted justice (plus the things she did that episode)
6- Raj (Caleb and Priya actually win the challenge, get inmunity and everyone votes Julia but she stole the idol and votes Raj to break up a pair for being close to the finale [this helps Wayne get one more episode of development alone]
5- Priya (either Julia wins and Priya is the biggest target or Damian wins but Julia convinces him to vote for Priya by saiying "if I'm gone, who do you think is going after me ? " if he doesn't win next episode he'll be out so he agrees with her, then Julia (or both) convince Wayne to vote with them (Julia would have tried to befriend him this episode instead of next). And Prileb ends an episode sooner and without the bad Julia manipulation part )
4- either Caleb or Damian (they work together but then they both want to win because they don't trust eachother to get the other to the finale so Julia surprises them and wins)
321- either canon or any of the others (Caleb is more likeable than canon since the bad Julia manipulation got cut in this version)
A way to fix the season would be Nichelle making it further and her and Damien having a mentor/mentee friendship.
To me, the perfect elimination order would be
16-Scary girl
15-Chase
14-Millie
13-Emma
12-Zee
Merge
11/10-Axel/Ripper (tbh they didn't need another episode)
9-Bowie (he's fine as an early merge boot but one more episode to him would have been more satisfying)
8-Raj (my favourite character but him getting 8th would push Wayne's win a lot imo, also right after Bowie like it kinda makes sense)
7-Priya (I liked Priya this season but we didn't need her going this far, 7th is good imo, this ends the Prileb plot on a good note, now Caleb wants to win for her and take revenge on mkulia)
6-Nichelle (the stealing of the idol still occurs but Julia gets Nichelle eliminated instead of Damien this time, prompting a bigger rivalry between Damien and her)
5-Mk (I respect the writers decision to have Julia be the main villain again but mk could have had 2 more episodes to shine and honestly I kinda want Julia to be the one to get her eliminated, realizing she was a big threat)
4-Caleb (he's too bland for me to be a finalist, and I like the prospect of a Julia/Damien rivalry in the finale much more than Caleb/Julia)
3/2-Damien/Julia (While they were fighting tooth and nail to get to the finish line beforr the other, they didn't realize Wayne passing both of them)
1-Wayne (a great winner in my eyes and one of my favourite characters, had more time to develop on his own etc etc)

Loved the elimination order
Pre merge is perfect, they get rid of characters who made it far last time or are just useless (don't blame them)
Post merge is pretty good too. I would probably swap Priya and Damien aswell, but at the same time I feel that Off the Hook would have way less impact and not that entertaining.
Overall, there's very few seasons that have a poor elimination order, but this one is surely not one of them

Lauren : Works perfectly as a comedic first boot
Chase : Same as Lauren
Millie : I hated her plot,so I'm happy that she left early
Emma : She should've went further and have more screentime(and maybe even a plot)without Chase. Even if she was first merge boot or smth that would've been fine. Her early elimination this season is a proof that the writers don't know what to do with her when Chase isn't around,and that's unfortunate ngl
Nichelle : Boring ass character,so didn't mind her placement
Bowie : Great placement
Axel : On paper,she should've went further. But she was so boring this season that her leaving here doesn't bother me
Ripper : That stupid double elimination should not have happened now. If they wanted to boot Axel,give Ripper something to do,like an underdog type of story for example. But no,they had to reduce him to Axel's love interest after ep5. Such a waste of potential.
Zee : I liked this placement,he served his purpose and was a great character
MK : As much as I loved MK's sendoff,I hated that she left here. They had the opportunity to make a great antagonist,yet they decided to recycle Julia,who is a character I didn't even like that much this season.
Damien : Same as MK,but replace antagonist with protagonist,and replace Julia with Priya(I mean I kinda liked Priya(up until that point),but yeah she should definitely have left in episode 10). Also I fucking hated Damien's elimination scene.
Raj : I didn't like that the hockey bros were in the final 5 together. Raj should've left earlier.
Priya : I would've liked the Priya x Caleb plot if Priya left in epiosde 10. But this plot dragged for way too long(ik it's only 2 extra episodes,but 2 episodes can make a big difference sometimes). Her and the Prileb plot got incredibly uninteresting after ep10.
Julia : Already talked about it in the MK section. She should've left earlier,and could've swapped her placement with MK's.
Caleb : Good placement(I mean he could have won,but him being 3rd/2nd is just as good)
Wayne : I mean yeah narratively wise he shouldn't have won,but idk his win was funny
Overall,this elimination order is very hit or miss,and there are certainely more misses than hits(those hits are all mostly during the first half of the season).
The pre merge boots are the best pre merge boots of any season like I predicted all the pre merge boots besides Lauren and Nichelle. I also dont mind either of them, and Bowie booted before merge is what I wanted to see. After merge is where things switch up. I dont mind the double elim with Ripper and Axel, but I did wish Axel made it wayyy further, soo this elim is nearly perfect so far. Zees placement is something I really dont mind, so Im not complaining, but then both my winner picks MK and Damian were both booted. I wouldve love seeing Damian win, but there shouldve been done more with him throughout the season, but I still dont mind the season so much. I agree Mary Kate shouldve lasted longer too. The rest I didnt really like so much is Raj and Wayne making final 5, like I wouldve liked the spacing so Wayne develops. I love Priyas placement, idc she showed she was better then most the cast. In the end, the finale is fun and I dont mind Wayne winning, but I wish Caleb won im ngl. W Elimination Order still imo

@smartylion1223 Yup, This is still my 2nd favorite season. I love the elim order and Caleb and Priya are still overhated. Also Caleb deserved it soo that would've been enjoyable
It was good up until MK's elimination imo.
Priya should've been eliminated in ep 10. They didn't need to drag that plotline any longer. But then again the writers really didn't what to do with Damien this season so whatever.
Julia is a mid ass villain, that off-screen plot armor was annoying.
She's basically diet Heather at this point. And im saying this as a Julia fan.
MK should've been the main antagonist.
Raj doesn't get much to do after Bowie's gone and Caleb... well he's just mid.
Wayne is a garbage winner idc what anyone else says. Bro almost did nothing the entire season. If they wanted a comic relief win, then they should've went with Zee instead. It really sucks considering Wayne was one of my favorites in S1. He wasn't the smartest, but at least in S1, he showed some level of competence. Now he just feels like Patrick Star.
If i were to do a rewrite of any season, it would be either this or All-Stars.

Probably I'm biased but I think a good rivalry between Julia-Nichelle could work & end Caleb-Priya thing earlier
That is a pretty good elimination order. Would just make Caleb last a little bit longer.

11th: Nichelle (Still quits, but the Julia contract forging stuff is actually shown throughout the episode, Skunk butt loses and Julia would've been voted off if not for Nichelle)

Other than Raj, Damien, and Priya, whose eliminations should’ve been shuffled with each other a bit, I don’t get the hate with the elimination order this season. What I don’t get the most is how people like the season 1 reboot elimination order, it’s awful easily the worst outside of allstars
I don't think season 1 elimination order was that bad. But can understand why people don't like it.
