one of the all-time best shark tank segments. barbara slept on an opportunity, mark seized it and kevin sealed it… absolute greatness.

Tbf a bunch of people come in asking for millions with a few thousands in sales.
Also for the longest time they scuffed at crazy valuations so it’s standard.
Everyone knows you have to have low sales so there can be a boom sound effect and the sharks can roast you!

Surprised Mark didn't turn hostile towards the dude the way he does with a lot of people that come on here with health products. I think Kevin saying he tried it gave instant credibility to the product.
He's a bully
Mark doesn't have an issue with health products. He has a problem with unsubstantiated claims. This guy was super clear about how he used to work out 6 hours a day. He never credited his product for that. He was just like "these are the nutrients in this, it's good for you". Nothing wrong with that.

Kevin Hart, Gwenyth Paltrow, Alex Rodriguez, Charles Barkley, that heifer from the housewives, these people are not entrepreneurs. They didn’t build businesses. They’re the talent. There are so many talented entrepreneurs they could have on this show but they go with these entertainers because they have face recognition.
You can be famous for something first and then become an entrepreneur after. But I understand what you're saying. They didn't make their money from a business, they basically are the business
