I love how this song starts off with Jim Croce vibes and has murderous undertones. Truly a wonderful piece of music. I am SO happy to have discovered you guys and to be a Rug Rat.
Iâm feeling like thereâs a concept thatâs spreading through your songs. Itâs really quite interesting to find a band that can keep the mood and vibe like that and still sound fresh on each song. It makes me feel like, whateverâs wrong, donât fix it cause itâs working dammit.

@@ash7425 thanks for being interested and asking! this whole album is a breakup album. I was going through some things when I wrote it, and was avoiding being on the nose about things. But the songs were kindaâŠlimp. So I went back through and redid all the lyrics to the whole record, and this was one of the ones where I felt like I was getting my voice back! It was a really liberating moment, and some of my favorite songs from our catalogue are on here. There are some cool interviews out there about it too đđ»đ
TLDR; i think this song sums up the record, and is about the moment of reclaiming yourself after a breakup.
