Great review, Ryan! so imformative :) when we got ours - we weren't sure which one to get so we ended up getting one of each which is a good decision but I can totally agree with you they may seem so similar but they have slight differences in each of them

Hey Ryan, Great review. I initially got 2 low beach chairs (with high back), used them constantly when camping, and still love them. I then got the luxury version because the lower height allowed the chair to fit more places. For example I have a mini van set up as a camper. The luxury version fits in and gives me a place to sit. Same with some lower height tents - for example, a luxury version would go right in to your new small Springbar. The luxury chair lives in my van full time, smaller size makes that possible. The other 2 are in the house. But not stored away. I love these chairs so much I have them set up, and sit in them all the time. Really enjoy your videos. Keep them coming.

I’d suggest rolling up the bag and storing it in the Luxury Low chair pocket. Adds some additional padding / support. Something I appreciate.
I’ve used the pillows with the chairs and they can be helpful for added lumbar support or even a little additional warmth, but I don’t know that I would strongly recommend them.
Hey, thanks Jonathan! I just tried your suggestion for the storage bag in the back pocket and will be implementing this when using the chair! It's subtle and a really nice touch to the lower back feel and looks seamless with how the stitching lines up on the front fabric. Great to know on the pillows, I haven't tried them yet but have been getting questions. Thanks again for the tip!
I purchased the high back version as it supports my back problem. We purchased the bamboo chair long to relax and gather during takibi.
Nice! The bamboo chair long is so nice to relax in. I’d get a set if I had a bit more space for them.
@@rtmadani the bamboo chair long takes less space than the low beach. I can imagine bringing the SP couch.
Did not know they were smaller, good to know though! Every time I see them they look big but I guess it’s all the angle. I keep my chairs in the roof box and can’t go much longer than the low beach.

Here is one little problem we solved with the Low Beach Chairs. I personally like a laid back position in the chair while reading or just chillin', so the higher back rest was a fit. Thing is, either sitting normal or when you slight forward with your butt to get comfy there is a lot of free space between the lower end of the chair and your back. Not as relaxing as I wanted it. So we bought the Low Chair Cushion Plus, which actually is designed for resting your head or even as a lower back support. Though it does not support your back at all because of the scarce filling. So we cut the cushion on the back, stuffed it with filling material from another cushion so it has much more substance and fitted a zipper to have easy access to the filling material. This 'new' cushion now fits nicely, fills the gap and so supports your back in any position. Not a big deal, but for me it really was a game changer ^^
Hey, thanks for sharing the pillow modification. I haven't ever tried one, but I'm hearing similar things from others as well on the chair cushion. Sounds like SP needs to look into this one.
Have you tried the high back with the pillow? I don’t see many people using it or reviewing it.
I haven’t tried it yet, but am interested to see how it feels.
Which one is better if you’re tall, over 6’?
It’s hard to say, I’ve see many who are over 6ft use both versions. If you’re more torso than legs, I’d probably lean towards the high back.

Lowback is better if you are cooking and need to move your upperbody a lot

It is sooo versatile to the point my 4th grader, who doesnt know a thing about gear, asked if we could buy an extra
Yes, the low back definitely helps when trying to move around a lot! We have the mesh bench as well and love it. Our son also really enjoys the low beach chairs!

There are less expensive camping chairs, but the quality and design of these ones definitely stand out in my opinion.
