- I go to the Sony backlot with Spankie Valentine for meetings and at the same time get to see some awesome movie cars. The original screen used ecto and the new screen used ecto from the new and old ghostbusters movies. I do a walk around and show you all the details of this movie legend.
Then I show you the breaking bad Rv where Walter white cooked meth and killed people.
Them I take you on a mini tour of the Sony backlot where dreams and movies are made or crushed depending on whichever way you look at it :)

The original Ecto-1 shouldn't be sitting outside, it should be in the Smithsonian Museum. The "new Ectomobile" should be sold for scrap value.
The ORIGINAL and the BEST! ECTO1 has no equal nor can it be replaced. I saw shorts for the 21st centuries version of the movie, and i new, i dont ever want to see it. :) And of course the interior of ECTO1 is a mess, its a guys car! Its where we feel at home :) . Cheers for sharing.
Ugh....every time I see old glory after it's last full restoration already showing paint damage and rust, interior getting messed up, etc. It hurts my soul. I really wish studios took more pride and care in these "props" that have given them so much. That '59 is a legend and needs to be kept indoors, behind glass out of the elements, with a couple caretakers.
The classic ecto 1 returns in Ghostbusters afterlife in honor of Harold Ramis the voice of Egon.
Gotta say that the new Ecto-1 and the movie it came from was a poor politically motivated attempt and a total wast of time. Girl power does not a good movie make when only made for the purposes of girl power...the original movie was just fine and never needed a remake.

I watched Ghostbusters: Afterlife and it was pure awesomeness.
I saw one of those Cadillac ambulances when i was a kid in the early 80's for sale at a thrift shop in souther california for $500. I begged my mom to buy it but of course she didnt. I always wonder if it ended up on the production of Ghostbusters.

Whilst I like the new Ecto 1 I love the original. This is the most iconic film car of all time, so whilst I enjoyed seeing it on the Sony backlot I was hoping you'd get access to it. Only Black Beauty from Green Hornet rates up their in my opinion on the same iconic level.

WOW i saw the original ECTO 1 at SEMA 2008 just after its refurb when the ps2 game came out and it looked great that was about 10 years ago....man where did that time go.... i cant believe how rough the gear on the roof and some of the paint is already looking....i heard that resto on that one car cost in the 200k range...its a shame they dont have someone cleaning it up every 6 months or something before they know it it will need another 200k resto

The new Ghostbusters movie should've been a sequel, not a remake. Watching the original cast do cameos instead of being the original characters was hard to watch. The first teaser trailer actually pushed it as a sequel if I remember correctly. This clip also reminded me another clip you can watch on YT: the fate of the original Ghostbusters HQs.
I prefer the og ecto 1 she is gorgeous and my favorite car from the movie a 59 Cadillac hersh love that old girl ❤
Nice to see the original... Don't care for the new one at all. Amazing to think that a few years ecto was rotting away in the back lot with the 2nd car... Which is still rotting away in the back lot 😔
I like it. It's also made my nephew interested in Ghostbusters now. So if it inspires a new generation of fans of the franchise I'm all for it.

ECTO 2 is missing like 50% of stuff that you can easily just add it.
I mean seriously the 2016 Ecto-1 looks like a bad joke.
