Shaq is a class act. When he was traded to Miami, he took out a full page ad in the LA Times thanking the city and it's fans.
When Zlatan was traded to LA, he took out a full page ad in the LA Times and said You're Welcome.
With all due respect Nicole, Shaq's departure from the Lakers wasn't pretty. He already banked in a 120 million dollars in salary earnings from the Lakers at the time. An when it was his Co-Star's (Kobe Bryant) turn to reel in his big payday of 100 million dollars Shaq screamed and taunted our beloved team owner Dr. Jerry Buss to give him another 100 million dollars. It was ugly as he did it during a game while Dr. Buss was sitting courtside. I love Shaq and what he did for my favorite team the Los Angeles Lakers by bringing in 3 Championships but sorry to burst your bubble a bit. His exit out of Los Angeles was far from graceful. After Dr. Buss declined to give Shaq another 100 million dollars instead it was a deal around 75 million , Shaq got angry and demanded a trade to Miami. Which Dr. Buss didn't have to do but still granted him his wish.

The first time I realized how awesome Shaq is, is when he put out on social media that he would be on a bench in a park and anyone could come up and hang with him and get pictures. He sat there still as a statue and just allowed folks to sit with him and my respect for him as a person has only grown.

I know the guy has money growing out of his ears, but still hard working respects everybody and takes care of his mom. No fruufruu in life too. We more people like him
I worked at an airport that he flew into all the time. He is an awesome person. I've met him numerous times to where he actually remembered who I was. Couldn't believe it. He would hand us 6 packs of Diesel Punk beer when he exited the plane. Shaq is a real one for sure.

RE Stephen’s quip about Icy Hot: Maxi pads for after giving birth have an icy layer to cool the pain. They’re really quite miraculous. With six kids, Mr. O’Neal might very well be a good salesman for such a product.

Oh my goodness, I'm not a big sports fan. When I see that I guessed on a show such as yours is a sports star, are usually scroll on by. Somehow I ended up watching this today, and Shaquille is so freaking cool! He is such a down to earth guy, none of the arrogance of most sports stars I see. Perhaps his age is a factor, but he just seems so easy-going and lovely. What a great guy❤️
