What comic is this?
"Batman humbles the Justice League"???
- Martian Manhunter, The Flash, Superman, Green Lantern - "Hold our beers and this ass-beating, Bruce" roflmmfao. 🍻👊💥🤕
BRO THANK YOU
much respect for this
Batman couldn't even humble *OWLMAN,* so how in tf could he ever possibly hope to "humble" the *entire* Justice League??? Hell, Superman and Wonder Woman have already humbled Bruce far more times than he *ever* did *them* (as if he even could anyway) and they're just two examples of him getting his rich, nocturnal ass humbled by the Justice League themselves.
Batman “The Justice League is the only way to beat me if I go rogue.” Also Batman beats all the Justice League
There's a reason why the only question you have about who Batman is fighting is "how long did he prepare?"
@@artyd42 Now there is a question that has to be nigthmare fuel for the Justic League. The single most paranoid member of the Justice League with the possible exception of The Question and a nere unlimited budget.
I’m pretty sure the Bat Family is the contingency for Evil Batman. That’s why the Batman Who Laughs killed them first.
There is a reason when Batman goes bad, the world ends. (Batman who laughs)
@@darkdesigns1633 The Question probably does have even Batman beat in Paranoia by spades.
It never stops being funny that for how absolutely broken the Flash is, his weakness is still slip and slides.
You’d think he’d put cleats on his boots
@@toxiclightning5303won’t that slow him down a bit?
@@samuelflipaclip7415speed force seems to be closer to physics multiplier than speed powers (to my extememly limited knowlage) so doubtful
@@harmless9336 na the speed force tends to be what it’s read as. Now one of the Flash villains, Professor Zoom or whatever, controls only his time frame, so the ice wouldn’t work on him.
@@samuelflipaclip7415 yeah but he typically carries around a tiny ring that can hold his entire costume so some emergency boots don’t seem out of the question. Plus he knows Batman and Cyborg, it’s not like the mf couldnt special order some jays that have cleats in them at the push of a button. Sure he’d be slower but it’s better than not doing anything at all.
This is why I 100% agree with Batman's contingency plans for the justice league
Bro, Wonder Woman’s bitch tantrum in the movie was enough to convince me.
@@KW-de9scthey didn't have an issue with the contingency plan theyhad an issue because he lied about it
And also why I support the Mutant Registration Act.
@@mirceazaharia2094 you know that shit created days of future past right?
@@Hollowmello1285 well for one thing the fact that they didn't even assume that he already had contingency plans for them was on them especially since telling him the details of the plan in any regard would also just be a negative and make the plans less likely to work and beyond that they should be evaluating their own weaknesses and flaws to try to figure out what other enemies might use against them anyways so that's really on them as for the mutant registration Act, what causes Days of Future Past with poor implementation of Technology as well as simply just a poor implementation of how that law should have been installed because yes, everyone with a mutant power should be required to be registered but until the Prejudice die down due to the natural increase mutants were going to have through the population, they should have waited until majority of the population were mutants to start making it more public about what each person's mutant power was registered as in a similar vein to my hero Academia and just because of the sheer nature and unpredictability of superpowers, there's always going to be issues with how that sort of thing turns out and in no way will it turn out smooth but at bare minimum there are things that should be done whether you fully agree with them or not
I love how Batman is smart enough to plan around beating gods yet can’t figure out how to fix crime
Well to his credit Gotham is LITERALLY Cursed to be Evil
@@Hyperdragon1701 so,
he can somehow pull cosmic armor out of his patented bat butt h0le,
but he CAN'T whip out a plan to break the curse?
Lame.
@@Hyperdragon1701 I still find it funny that the writers *had* to canonically make Gotham so cursed and evil that nothing Bruce does whether it be philanthropy or crime fighting, will ever make Gotham better. Because let's be real, there's almost no other way to keep Gotham being awful with all the blood sweat and money Bruce is probably pumping into it.
@@Fen_Fox In my opinion that's probably one of the reasons that The Joker hasn't been given the death penalty. The corrupt lawyers of Gotham always find a way to bail him out. In addition to that even IF they killed Joker we now know that it wouldn't have mattered. As there is an entire cult of Jokers and MANY of them HAVE died via their own inventions. Or were permanently paralyzed by Batman. If a Joker ended up killing or paralyzing themselves. They would just replace him with another maniac while being led by the three most iconic Jokers behind the scenes.
@@akadonut8612 Sounds like something a Batman villain would say
Injustice Batman: spent years trying to beat the justice league
canon Batman: defeats the justice league after being ambushed by them
To be fair he didn't expect villains to help superman
Yeah but the diffrence is that Superman wasn't truly evil and Batman still tought he could be saved after Nightwings loss he just kinda quit for a while and returned but by that time the entire JL was on supes side and he had a giant army he had super villains on his side and the batcave was taken over. This left Bruce with nothing as his only weapon to defeat superman was locked away needing hand prints from league memebers THAT JOINED SUPERMAN and after the heroes became even more powerfull and batman became weaker yeah.
That’s not an improvement. His plot armor is bs.
In Injustice's defense, it's kinda hard to build or access effective counter-measures when the villains are your friends who know your identity.
Ya know, because then they can freeze your bank funds and already know where several of your secret bases are.
The fact that Injustice is even still alive after that long is just a testament to how good Bats is at adapting on the fly and hiding when he has little to nothing to work with.
@ventusargentum9957 plus superman isn't being mind controlled he just lost it mentally
What’s actually ridiculous about this isn’t all of Bruce’s contingency plans, but that the Joker could mind control all of the Justice League. That’s just unbelievable, they really put Joker over in this scenario. Almost any member would be near impossible for him to get to.
Like where did he stick that kryptonite fluid in, like did he have that on him while injured, also what kind of robot can move faster than flash even if the computer fast enough
Also wonder woman slamed hit to the ground and broke the floor, so you telling me he still have any back bonnes that aren't broken?

It wasn't so bad back in the 60s and 70s when everything was played for a laugh and the "serious" stories (the O'Neil Batman run) were well-segregated from the goofy stuff. The current tendency in is to have absurd scenarios portrayed with high drama. It's like taking pro wrestling seriously. Or watching Underdog and worrying about the cliffhanger. It's super interesting that it doesn't matter how overpowered the Flash is supposed to be- he can move in time and change it, think at relativistic speeds, manipulate kinetic energy to deliver hits with the mass of the earth (or more) and whatever bs the writer in turn wants him to do, to the point that his powers are no longer about speed but subatomic manipulation, YET he can still be casually defeated by any opponent making him slip.
He is a seasonal superhero
To be fair, the video kinda glosses over it, but his plan required Barry to not be moving anywhere near his top speed.
I mean if you wanna stop the “fastest man alive” make it so he can’t use his speed in the vicinity kinda makes sense.
still called a speedster at the end of the day...and anyway the writers can do literally whatever with literally any character...and we've seen it so many times
Speed is extremely powerful but it's also an extremely simple physical property, which means if you have the right approach it's very easy to counter, especially since Flash isn't exactly a world class physicist

His cowl is lead lined if I recall.
The fact it gave Lex Luthor cancer after long-term exposure in many different series but Batman never gets that in any series is a huge oversight. I kind of want to see how Batman would approach having Kryptonite the moment he knows it can cause cancer over time when it's told to Luthor.

The artist popped off on this one. The characters and scenery look incredible. I love the costume designs, especially super-man's
I forget the artist, but they worked on the entirety of Scott Snyder's Batman new 52 run. I highly recommend checking both their works out
I was not a fan of the New 52 but I love this story arc
The cartoon network justice league show always get a rewatch every few years from me. I think it is time, Lex Luthor and Batman are the best thing to have happened to the DC universe. Its terrible that the cinematic representations never pan out properly, it needs the touch of a lover and a consumer of the general entertainment medium, not a major film maker; it also needs humble artists that are able to put the professionalism on.
No. Films usually dont have a story or action similar to cartoons. It makes everything seem "fake" like an episode of Power Rangers. Batman's plot armor works in cartoony or comic form.
With realism, the story is less believable and it comes as bad writing. In cartoon form, people wont question Batman beating the Justice League. With live action writers, this is bad writing since the realism forces everything to be taken seriously
Even Batman dodging Omega Beams in Justice League. That would look bad and not believable with real actors. Cartoons allow easy suspension of disbelief.
In live action movies, a stunt from Fast and the Furious can quickly be called bad writing or ridiculous, but it would be cool in a cartoon
@@sumnahlennon5449 No what? You didnt disagree with me once.
I think you didnt understand me properly, if you get a big director (like WB seems to be doing constantly) there is never going to be a coherent universe, there needs to be a single "mastermind" and investment in this case is more improtant than credentials.

"But even with my suit gone, it turns out my spit is actually laced with power-draining dust that makes you really weak and stuff!"
I honestly think the Justice League monitors Bruces mental health and whenever they think he's getting too depressed from being a man with no powers in a bat costume who can't even keep a fucking literal clown in check surrounded by demi-gods who routinely fight existential threats capable of ending time and space themselves or starts getting buyers remorse about all the billions he spends on dumb contingency plans that would never work, they all agree to pretend to go rogue, and intentionally lose so that Batman feels better about himself. While I do think the Justice League is definitely a major part of Batman’s contingency for himself, they’re not the main contingency. That title goes to the Bat-Family, especially Alfred and the Robins. Alfred would be the best chance to use Batman’s emotions to try and reason with him to stop what’s happening. The Robins are easily the best choices if they need to physically attack Batman and counter his weapons, gadgets, and strategies. Batman has trained them so if the time ever comes, they can succeed him. I’d say if Batman has faith that they can become him, then they’re the ones who best know him, y’know?

All of the characters have this. Superman got ridiculously bs powers because of asspull in the first place. Speed Force is absolute bs that never existed in the beginning and they made it up to make Flash more than just some really fast guy. Then they let him traverse time itself, because why the f not? Even if the logic is utter nonsense. You cannot go back to something that no longer exists, the energy is spent, it's no longer there to return to. Back to Supes, he literally has one weakness and any time it's brought up, people b-tch about "omg plot armor!" Aquaman is... well, nobody really cares about him.

Also prep time is bullshit that feels like a small excuse why he win every time, also also it make him too perfect tothe point of breaking his characters, for example why he has problems with Joker if he can beat kryptonian, demigod, speadster and king of Atlanta at once.
@@GodsDissapointment what are you on? Literally my only point was that Batman having a power suit is dumb and it is.
Now about Batman having plot armor I do have my thoughts. Batman does have way more plot armor than any other character. We aren't denying that every super hero has plot armor because they do. However Batman has too much plot armor to the point of being ridiculous. He's doing things and surviving things he has no right too for what his character is.. It's comes off as a looney tunes episode sometimes and I can't take Batman stories like this seriously.
Don't get me wrong I love Batman but we should be critical of stories like this that misrepresent his character rather than acting like brain dead fan boys and saying "wow Batman stronk, he beat justice league all at once!"
"But luckily, Batman had the exact specific thing he needed to counter their attacks."
This is Solid JJ's prep time video in comic form.
He had literal plot armor. 😅
Damn really goes to show how Wonder Woman doesnt have much weakness. Only way he could think to defeat her is to "play dead"
it's always Batman kicking the League's butt!!! LMAO!!! You gotta love the man!!!!😂👍
Why not give Bruce a can of Bat-Hero Repellent if he's just gonna macguffin his way through this fight?
🤣
🤣🤣🤣
PLOT ARMOR IS CRAZY 🤣
plot armors a hell of a thing
Flash: I can move in ATTOSECONDS (time it takes light to travel between electrons in an ATOM), Travel across time with his super speed, Casually faster than Light even when not trying, His speed makes it impossible to be mindcontrolled...
Also Flash: Damn! That computer sure is faster than me and can react to everything I do and also, Joker mind controlled me..
Wonder Woman: Warrior Princess. Can compete with likes of Super Man.
Also WW: I sure don't feel this thing on my body that was not here before and batman died too easily. Guess i won.
SuperMan: able to compete with Flash to extent in speed, Can hear sound in space, Has Super Senses,
Also SM: Damn, Did notice Bruce chewing Krytonite gum and did not see it coming at me in Slow Motion,
Writers. That's all I need to say about the first. Psychology is second. Third is "flair for the dramatic". Lastly, they're not thinking like themselves.
That aside, why does everyone only ever think about powers and never how the characters actually THINK? Their thoughts and personalities. Like yeah, they COULD do that, but would they? It's not so simple to just say, "Oh, Superman could just do this and it'd be over." He COULD, but based on his beliefs and values, would he? It's utter ignorance to just blurt out that someone can do something that they might not simply just do on a whim. Lastly, you end up projecting your own thoughts and feelings on the characters.
@@Maniacman2030a jokerfied Superman’s morals prevents him from dodging spit?
@@Maniacman2030 Except, it was said in the damn comic, that all of them under Joker's toxin were void of morals.
Actually, what really happened is that Bruce instantly died the moment Diana landed a single surprise attack on him
And the rest is his personal heaven where his fanfic of him surviving the league is played out as he’s constantly in denial
This is not Batman.
This is Batgod.
and after all this is funny how batman fans still get angry about the "Shark repelent" joke, or how batman has the magic super power to always have the right counter for every character
The only thing I'm "iffed" about is batman falling from orbit and being perfectly fine, shark repellent isn't even that far fetched despite it usually being played off as a joke.
I am a batfan. But i too am tired of all these plot armours.
In batman and Robin eternal, red Robin actually says that he always has 3 types of shark repellant at all times which was...kinda suprising
@@curtismcpsycho8212 keep in mind the Shark Repellant was stored in his helicopter.
Not his utility belt, but his helicopter.
Batman was prepared for mid-air shark attacks.
I love it so much.
@@fairystail1 I like to think batman has unusual phobias which feeds his paranoia
Absolutely love this art style. Big reason I loved the New 52 run so much. Superb!
They actually have a Less than leathal crowd control weapon that's a almost 0 friction liquid but they found out it was much more dangerous than what they thought when it was used, the people who tried to stand up could not and almost broke everyone's spin and shattered their skulls.
Batman with plot armor:
If Superman got serious about killing Batman, I don’t think he’d lose. He could drop down from orbit and turn Bruce into a red mist cloud before he could even process a single thought.
And this is why he has supercomputers😅😅😅
Also didn't Batman create brother eye I'm pretty sure that would keep a watch on Superman 😅😅
@@itsDjjayyYeah you may see it coming but you won't stop a speeding planet busting superhero
"Drop down from orbit" You mean heat vision him right through the skull while still IN orbit.
Very nice of them to take turns attacking him.
batman has become such a fuggin mary sue its insane how people arent tired of it yet
"We would never do this" said superman minutes before getting mind controlled by the joker
Its been proven so many times that the flash cant be "outpaced" by a computer or that he doesnt need friction to run, they really gotta stop tryibg to find ways to make batman match characters he shouldnt
I challenge you to think of a way that a character without heightened reaction time could beat the flash. The problem isn't batman in this scenario. The flash is a stupid character that can't exist in a story without other speedsters
@@adammarch9604makes sense the flash & speed force is hella op
@@banana1729If he didn't have speed force durability he'd be more balanced
@@adammarch9604 wonder woman, aquaman and superman have a superior reaction time than the fastest human. Not to mention their combat speeds would also be high. Yet batsy goes "toe to toe" with them at normal speeds. His head shouldn't be able to process the attacks any of them are doing.
@@adammarch9604 Maybe they should write a story that is consistent with the universe they created for him instead of having Bats solo gods for no reason for the 50th time.
There's no shame in Batman getting help from other heroes besides the JL, and it would have made a waaay more interesting story too
I like how batman got his face "crushed" making a dent into the solid ground by wonder woman, and he walked away from that? Batman is human right? Sorry but no matter how much he trains without his suit nobody walks away from that.
00:22 And Bruce is dead (Physiologically, He just a human) ... Broken neck, broken skull , extrem bleeding in or around the brain, brain damage and leaking of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF).
Bro how could bruce survive getting his face completely pounded on the pavement 💀
Bruce died as a child, he was Batman ever since, and Batman is a symbol, can't kill or a symbol.
This fight reminds me of that moment in Teen Titans Go where they were running from Batman with the golf cart and he kept running through contingencies to stop them. It's even better as a gag because the writing to make these leaps of logic amount to a four year old with a stick explaining why you didn't really shoot him with a finger gun playing war...
I return to this part of Scott Snyder's run surprisingly often. Very well written and illustrated.
You know, having the Joker control the Justice League actually makes this story more believable. I can well imagine each member of the Justice League subconsciously fighting back against the Joker's control. That inner fight would make them less focused, less disciplined in the fight with Batman, giving Batman some opportunities to take them out.
A really determined Justice League should be able to take out Batman, probably after some difficulty.
Okay, but the thing I don't get is HOW joker would even manage to do that in the first place. I can get aquaman and with a HUUGE maybe Wonder Woman, but there's no way he could get a grip on the FLASH, let alone superman.
@@mythical5292 I will assume that he teamed up with an evil mastermind who created a mindcontrol substance, and then he laced a birthday cake for the Flash with it and had it delivered to the JLA ;-)
@@mythical5292 Im guessing he just rubbed the Drug with kryptonite thats usually how it works for some reason, hell he might have just forgot to wash his hands after touching batman and accidently got it in there.
Lmao, a really determined JL would fuck Batman 50 times over before he even realised what was happening.
This is from the New 52 Scott Snyder Batman run. The Joker is on some other shit in that series. He's nothing like his other appearances. Less akin to BTAS or The Dark Knight and more akin to Pennywise with the added tenacity of The Batman himself. Like, he's actually comparable to Batman if he were an evil clown.
Greg Capullo is incredible.
2:12
“The name’s Aquaman and I’ve got something to say-!”
“Dead. I’m not f-in’ with you.”
I like Scott Snyder but man loves batwanking sometimes.
also, "Batwriters write a good batman story without having the other heroes look like idiots just to prop up batman" is an impossible challenge.
Plot armor is thick with this one😂😂
0:22 Batman survived getting his face smashed into concrete hard enough to create a crater, I'd say it's really thick
@@frankdenweed6456 hahaha
Just Imagine if this event happened in Snyderverse.
I actually love that Batman here still DOESN'T WANT TO HURT JUSTICE LEAGUE MEMBERS. Sure he uses his contingency plans, but he wants to know who did this to them because he knows his friends and he can tell there's something wrong with them. And he pleads with Clark until very end, and even admits that in a fight with him and Superman...no one wins. He has respect for Clark and that's awesome. And that moment when he realises that Joker turned Justice League into a monsters....he's horrified, because now Joker went for his friends and partners. That line "No....not him" shows how he's worried about his friends but also that he wasn't expecting the Joker to move that far. I love this writing for Batman!!!!
League in their own stories: Highly competent and capable
Everytime Batman appears: Has the IQ of rocks
So that gum, which didn't even enter Superman's system, made him fall out of the sky? Not just, you know, throw Batman down against the pavement before wiping or burning the damn this with his heat vision? Seems legit.
batman has so many contingency plans it wouldn't surprise me if he got a surgery to replace his bones with kryptonite or some BS like that
Batman: dies from tripping
Also Batman: destroys the justice league
Comic writing
That Bat Armor my friends, is called the Justice Buster. I love it.
The same batman later: "Cmon guys, I can still save the joker!!" 🥺🥺
This is why Batman's contingency plans are justified, and why he needs to keep them a secret from the rest of the league. They are meant to be used as an advantage to tip the odds in his favor if the league ever goes rogue and becomes a threat to innocents. If the league knows about them, that advantage disappears because they can find ways to counteract it after going rogue, rendering the plans worthless. For instance, if the contingency for dealing with Superman was a kryptonite gas, Superman would simply be able to put on a suit that protects him from exposure to the gas.
It is crucial that the plans exist for the protection of the planet's civilians, and it is just as crucial that the rest of the league not know about them so that the plans have the highest chance of catching them off guard in the event they are needed.
At one part in Justice League, even Batman suggested to tell all of their strong points and weakness to each other in case if anything happens. Batman already got a head start and got information from all of them.
Meanwhile, the rest considered Batman’s strategy plan as “rude” since its meant as privacy. But Batman believe its crazy to think that when anyone can go rogue.
I believe Bruce was willing to share information, but because the Justice League are against his method, he didnt tell them anything.
