మీరు చెప్పిన మాటలు చాలా చాలా కరెక్ట్ అండీ... ఆహారం, నీళ్లు, డబ్బు, నమ్మకం, ప్రేమ, అభిమానం ఇవన్నీ సంపాదించుకోవాలి అంటే ఎంతో సహనం సమయం పడుతుంది. పోగొట్టుకోవాలంటే క్షణం చాలు. నాకు నీరు పొదుపు చేయడం మా నాన్న గారు చిన్నప్పటి నుండి నేర్పేవారు. నా మీద ప్రేమతో మా నాన్నగారు లీవ్ లో మా ఇంటికి వచ్చినప్పుడు నాకు గిన్నెలు కడిగి పెట్టేవారు. పని అమ్మాయి ఉంది నువ్వు తోమకు ప్లీజ్ నాన్నా అన్నా వినేవారు కాదు. ఆయన ఆ గిన్నెలు కనీసం ఒక రెండు గంటలు తోమేవారు. ఒక ఇంజక్షన్ సిరెంజి కి ముందు నీడిల్ తీసేస్తే ఎంత ధార వస్తుందో అంత ధారతో నీళ్లు కొద్ది కొద్దిగా వదులుతూ కడిగేవారు. ఒకసారి నా వల్ల అనుకోకుండా నీరు వృధా అయింది. కిచెన్ లో టాప్ తిప్పాను. పైన ట్యాంక్ ఖాళీ అవడం వల్ల నీరు రాలేదు టాప్ లో. హడావిడిలో టాప్ కట్టేయడం మర్చిపోయి బయటకు వెళ్ళిపోయాను. తర్వాత మోటార్ వేసి ట్యాంక్ నింపారు. కిచెన్ లో టాప్ తిప్పి ఉండడం వల్ల సింక్ పొంగి ఇళ్లంతా నీరు వచ్చేసాయి నేను ఇంటికి వచ్చేసరికి. అసలెంత బాధ పడ్డానో మాటల్లో చెప్పలేను. ఆ తర్వాత వన్ ఇయర్ వరకు కేవలం 1/2 బకెట్ తో మాత్రమే స్నానం చేసి(తలస్నానం రోజు తప్ప) నాకు నేను శిక్ష విధించుకున్నాను. అయినా బాధపడుతూనే ఉంటాను.
