TURKISH IS F**KING AWESOME. What an amazing message to Myles at the end there. I've just lost a friend to Cancer 2 days ago and this pod has also helped me too. Stay strong brothers and sisters of this Arsenal family. Love to you all. â€

Pure class Turkish to include Miles' message. You guys do a really fantastic job of bantering with each other and loving on Arsenal FC. Jordan I really appreciate your unwavering effort to say exactly what you believe knowing that everyone will probably dump a big steamy one on it. That shows character - we needed some of that against Villa. Lee always telling us something right now and James' inability to struggle keeping laughter in at the numerous double entendres and innuendos make this a truly awesome show. Thanks for 23/24 guys, it's been an awesome season.
The end chat really hit home, lost my mum in January, you four have helped me laugh again when I wasnt sure that would be possible.
Hope Miles can keep strong you too Turkish

Playing for the draw at City and not going for the win was what ultimately cost Arsenal.
â@duncanevans5197 That's just not true if you offer any team 4 pts against city at the beginning of the season they take it it's the losses to average sides in Fulham and West Ham that have cost us you can't lose 5 games and win the league anymore.
@@duncanevans5197yeh cause itâs so easy to win at Man City! Yes, it was our first point at the Etihad since like 2010, but it was a bad result and shouldâve beaten City 5-0 because they are such an easy team!đ€Ąđ€Ąđ€Ąđ€Ąđ€Ąđ€Ąđ€Ą

From when we lost to villa the title was done. Deep down most of us knew this
This is the comment I made on this very podcast after we lost 1-0 away to Villa earlier this season:
'Jordan is so inconsistent at times. I vividly remember him (rightly) pointing out that us drawing at Anfield last season was 2 points dropped and that we werenât ruthless. Now-we lose at Villa in a game where we clearly shouldâve won and werenât ruthless...heâs happy? I donât get it. We are not in a position to carelessly chuck points away if we want to win this title regardless of whether it's December or in May.'
The point is-we cannot just be on it from January 1st. We have to be on it from day 1. And we can't be so casual about us dropping points earlier in the season if we want to win this title.
I was reading a Spurs Hong Kong Facebook fans page, and you will be surprised how much some of the fans hated him, and cursed at Ange for ânot gettingâ the rivalry⊠they even wanted him fired
hes well within his right to want to win, but going at the fans is never ok.
@@eddyededwin Fans are too insane to understand

Not okay for the manager to have a go at the fans but it's okay for the fans to boo their own players, sing the opposition songs, and cheering the opposite team, essentially mocking their own team and managers efforts? There's a reason why 3 managers, two who are considered world class managers, to call out the club for their defeatist attitude and this specific match is perfect evidence that the fans are no different from the owner to which they complain about. â@@eddyededwin

Nooooo ; not at fulham , you lost at the Emirates ,villa stab you in the heart , that is where your title chance went out the window ,don't you ever listen to pundits , all they do is spread false hope , delusionally thinking city will drop points , at the end of the season ,, are you crazy ,? What pundits keep hiding from their audience is the fact city has not lost since the 6th of December ,22 games , 18 wins four draws , pundit and fans cost arsenal the league , arsenal is the best team in the league , better than invincible , They win titles , this arsenal is winning popularity contest ,and pundits best team ,,

Turkish you're awesome man! It's been a great season. It's not our time indeed but our time will come.
My grandfather passed away recently, he was 97 years old and an avid arsenal fanâŠ. Heâs pretty much the reason I supported them. He used to go every home game he could from the 30âs until the late 70âs when he moved for work. He actually remembered Herbert chapman winning the league.
He was really excited about how the team was going. I was really hoping the team was going to get over the line. Looks like we are just short. But Iâm sure heâd be very proud of our team.
Many thanks for all the content. You guys make my week

Son wanted to score but at the same time he played it to an area that gives the goalkeeper a proper chance of saving it, some goalkeepers wouldn't still save that but playing it to Son's right gives the goalkeeper little or no chance
Arsenal shouldn't have got in a position to rely on other teams too many pre Madonna's and why pre order open top bus đ

One thing I don't get about our fans is all season we've been saying just get it to the final game and let's see AND we get there and everybody is congratulating City and feeling sorry before the final game is played. What was the point then!!!! Have hope, faith and support - it's not over until it's over.
As someone who doesn't live in London it seems like tribalism to me. Wanting your team to lose does not benefit the club, the players or the staff. There is ZERO reason to want your own team to lose a game, ESPECIALLY when champions league was on the line. When you want your team to lose its not about football anymore, because football is a game you play to win.
This teams needs to start winning trophies. It is all cool if you are competitive and all that but if you don't win stuff then it is all for nothing.
Players will start to leave because in the end players want trophies. It happened in the past when we lost guys like Hleb, Cecs, Flamini, RVP, Adebayor, etc...
A true pleasure watching you guys each week.. love the banter and all things Arsenal.. heres to a fulfiling next season!.. â€đ

James - Harry Potter / statistical references- 692

Jordan - minutes of live football watched - 27
Factical point one, it is a clear definition of a scenario that is needed. I would love for the rule to state that a pen is only given if a player makes an effort to get out of the way, so a dragged foot won't ever be given again
To summarise our season, I was angry with our inconsistency in the first half of the season, but I am proud of how strong we end the season.
big up the podcast, enjoyed every single bit of it
I think this goes MUCH deeper than this with Ange. I believe he understands our rivalry... and WANTED us to win the league. Can you imagine the fire it would have lit under Tottenham to progress next season. Yet they were too caught up in hurting us, then growing themselves. đŻđ

Some of those 5 draws we had played a strong part in our faltering title charge. The home draw v spuds, the away draw to Chelsea. that Newcastle goal at St. James' park... but the one that makes me think we can actually win it is the loss away to west ham.. if they can pull off a sublime win like they did against us. it will be perfection.

MA Trivia match day 38
1. MA was an Everton ex player ( captain)
2. West Ham current manager David Moyes was MA manager at Everton
3. MA was Pep assistant
Everton, David Moyes, Pep Guardiola & Man City all of them related to Mikel Arteta's career.
Factical point two. We need the VAR to talk live, we have it in Australia in the rugby league, like the cricket and union, and it makes it so clear of what is being looked at. If a rule is broken it is clear.
Blew it in December - already looking 4ward to Summer transfer window
2 draws at home at home to West ham and villa instead of defeats would have been enough, but there you go.
Don't know how true it is but Kudus promised Partey the title but I can't hang my hopes on that. On a reality, Westham are dicey

These are all fakes ie Kudus promise. stories about Fulham ex- Arsenal players getting texts from current Arsenal players and what did Fulham players do? Fly kite, lay down, gift city goodies and take revenge against Arsenal for binning them. West Ham by themselves are a poor team compared to City at home, itâs going to be something like 4-0 or 6-0 for City. Halland wants 30 goals this season!
@@jaysonmiru3563 âI think Iâve had an incredible first season here and our last game of the season means a lot to us. Iâve got something for my Ghanaian brother, Thomas Partey. He might be lifting the league trophy with Arsenal.â
That's his quote and whether or not he help to deliver the title to Arsenal is another thing all together. I didn't say anything about Fulham because I don't spread rumors, you should have made a research to confirm if Kudus said so or not
Definitely proud of the way we played whole season, but also sad because despite showing so much progress in last couple of season, we might not win a trophy.
We are improving everyday as a team, we have a fantastic manager and team but next season, we must get over the finishing line
The boys should prep a guard of honor for James for winning the predictions table . That'll be a sight to watch.
Just on James's point re. How many games you can lose in the League.
22/23 City lost 5 Lge games
21/22 City lost 3 Lge games
20/21 City lost 6 Lge games
19/20 Liverpool lost 3 Lge games
18/19 City lost 4 Lge games
17/18 City lost 2 Lge games
16/17 Chelsea lost 5 Lge games
Pep was leaving nothing to chance with having a dizzied GK, so made that GK substitution, then came the Son chance, which the 100% alert keeper dealt with so well.
When Son missed it, Pep was such in anxiety, his motorboard overloaded, he actually laid down flat on his back on the touchline, for he knew how important that chance was for the title. So did we!
Son seems like a likeable fella but i cursed him to Hell after missing that.
It was a game that both teams needed to win, whilst all we needed was a draw.
It's a surreal feeling leading up to this title deciding matchday, because of CITY being at home to WHU, I can't get excited for the PL, yet, until that is when the day's scores start to unfold.
Letâs get real what irritates me is why are we talking about spurs and they should have done us a favour we tend to forget we lost at home to villa knowing very well we needed to win⊠we need a world class striker period
Crazy right?
it's all about a very good finisher(Striker)
That for me is not why we lost the league the games early in the season against Fulham and so forth our form bfo December is what lost us the league. Our form this year is title winning form we only lost one game

Lovely words by Turkish at the end thereâŠ.well done lad.
Ever noticed how james looks like sheldon from big bang theory đđ
It's not an open goal so it's not down to son alone to get it right, it was down to the keeper to get it right for his team and he ended up on top.well done keeper.
Ihave a feeling we are going to bottle the summer window again
Mad that Jordan watched Tottenham live but doesn't watch Arsenal live
Bring on Cedric and Elneny is he MAD đ you'd only do that for club legends man not mediocre, bang average players.. Appreciate the work you've put in this season lads
Congrats to James on his predictions win. However, next season please use only football games when earning points. No points docked for being a few minutes late or dropping points for participating in some dodgy game called unfair play. Settle the lateness on your own. No docked points. This gives us a better look at who is actually the best score predictor.
Jordan's face when Lee was talki g about having know how and experience i thought he was going to start dribbling.
"The thing is, the point was really really good, it was just the delivery and the timing was bad". The Jordan roulette - at least one of three is usually really really bad.
Jokes aside, love all four of you and the pod is always missing something when one of you is off and a substitute is on instead.
Thank you for top-quality football and entertainment content throughout the season.
Hope to see you more of you in the summer and then again next season - COYG!đ€
Absolutely proud.
On the Spurs nonsense. Thatâs not rivalry, thatâs stupidity.
SometimesâŠyour rivals win things đź Shocking, I know. You DO NOT hope your team loses a game of football to POTENTIALLY prevent your rivals from winning something. (Especially when it removes all hope of gaining champions league football) You affect your rivals when you play themâŠnot by hoping to lose other games!! Big up to Ange for stating facts! That kind of nonsense would not be accepted in any other major fan base in Europe. Go to France or Germany and see what those fans think about it. Youâd be FORCEFULLY removed from a stadium in those countries if you werenât backing your team AT ALL TIMES! Regardless of what your rivals win! Itâs a small mentality from a small club. And I seriously hope Arsenal fans would never do the same, regardless of the context.
Mikel and Edu kept awake by Unai.
Ultimately, Iâm proud of the team and Arteta. People fail to understand how difficult it is to change the direction of a massive club like Arsenal (think Man U). It will be our time soon.
@@ObviouslyKieran Iâm not so sure
@@ObviouslyKieran you canât say that tho. The trajectory has been positive and progress has been made. My expectation is that next year Arsenal will be winning a major trophy.
@@ObviouslyKieran Iâm really interested in what you think the Club should do if Arteta gets sacked after the last game season. What should the Club do?
Im super proud of Arteta and the lads. I feel we let ourselves down against Fulham away..we scored first and we were so poor after that...against Villa we played well and missed soo many chances. We shall go again next season hopefully Timber will have a big role to play.
I love the thumbnail, you people have been smiling too muchđ ,
Context is everything people will say we lost it at villa but loising villa game could be the season we won the rest. Could of easily beat villa and draw or lose at united or spurs. Proud of the team love this club next year we go againn. Cmon arsenal. Best pod on aftv took me a while but im used to jordan now
Did Jordan really say we should bring on Elneny & Cedric if we are 3-0 up. BROTHER WHAT? BROTHER UGHHHH
You guys should do a highlights show of the Fourever Arsenal podcast for the season, that way Jordan can watch the highlights of him talking about the highlights of Arsenal games - highlights inception
Arsenal's home form is better than their away form. Arsenal have 44 points at home and 42 points away from home. Man city lost 5 games last season and 6 games in 2021 and still won the league. Yes its about fine margins, but its a 38 game season with them going deeper in champions league this season, you have to be realistic. I still have a little bit of hope, so we will we wait and see on Sunday.
I think what's happend this season might be the best lesson this group could get. I know it sounds cliche since that might have been said last year but when you reflect back there are several key moments where you can ask, what if?
As early as the fulham game at home where it ended 2-2, the christmas run in with two defeats, the etihad away game, the villa at home game and the list goes on.
Ideally, the group ought to learn from that and avoid losing unnecessary points at the beginning (fulham game at home), be more resilient at home (christmas run in and villa) and be more adventurous at away grounds like the etihad.
Next season should be interesting and i expect Arsenal to reach 90 points by the end of it, whether or not that's sufficient remains to be seen.
Iâd love to try Jordanâs excuse on a ref. The tackle was really good, itâs just the delivery and the timing were bad.
I thought that Rice quote was after the Porto away game and when it came out again vs Villa it was people misquoting/misinformation trying to make it seem like he said it after the Villa loss.
What is other fans obsession with Arsenal, many here commenting on a pod cast? I've followed AFC since 1979 and have seen 5 titles, 9 fa cups, league cups, european, only 1 club I'm interested in. Amazing fact, Spurs have never won a league title as a London club, they were part of the county of middlesex until 1965, when they won a title we were using shillings as currency. They are only a big club on the basis of their income and balance sheet.
Spot on judges...Our home form has been below par.....1 pts against fulham, westham and villa is unacceptable
James is a very likable person
Sounds like his best man speech.
Our problem this season is VAR not villa
True. Shouldn't blame the team for losing literally only one game in 2024
The first goal was also offside
James, City won the league last season with 5 losses.
They actually didn't... Brentford loss came on the final day when it was all done and dusted already
@@TheGoonerverse City won with 6 losses in 20/21 also.
@@seanocean4745 yeah Iâm not saying itâs never been done. Chelsea in 16/17 lost 5 too - my point is that if I had to venture a guess at the start of the season about whether 5 defeats would win us the league, when youâre trying to stop City, my answer is no. Only City & Chelsea in the last 10 years have won the title with more than 4 defeats
It hurts even more than last season if we donât win the league!!
At leas west ham have a foward line and half decent midfield
Prediction table can't end like this. Need another challenge round like the mid season one
that Villa game broke my heart knew it would of been that game... to ruin it all for us!!
115 violations and they still are in the League is unfathomable !
Our home form has not been disappointing. City has made near perfection the key to winning the league. I believe our team has learned that this season. Lee should stop this waffling about home form being disappointing. Unrealistic expectations.
At least West ham have a financial reason to take points because of rices deal
We need a 20+ goals striker, Coyg!
If these lot go on tour; Judges, James and Turkish would have everyone around them and Jordon would be on his mobile
I hope Areola channels his inner Buffon/Neuer/Kahn and the West Ham attackers are Prime Dogba
Havertz should have started that Villa home game up front.
Hope you doing ok Myles thinking of you
Rashford Guimaraes Hato + Back up GK ( Steele, Ramaj)
Kai Leo Jesus CF depth and get a game changer like Rashford. We donât have a player that can turn a game of its head. Let Mikel work his magic on him.
What ever happens on Sunday, itâs been the greatest season in the Emirates era. So many positives to take into next year, just a few additions for next year and I believe the League is ours. Just hope that next year we have a Cup run rather than just focus on the League.
Nothing but respect to arsenal from City...hardly anything between us all season
Shows how fine the margins are , We could have most goals scored, least goals conceded, best GD and best record vs other big 6. Not much more for you can do.
You should of put away all those draws, and not lost to Villa. Spurs result against city wouldn't of mattered. Simple as that really.
