I love living in Duluth. Very diverse, great school district. Most people seem friendly, I’ve had no issues thus far. I am Jamaican and my husband is Dominican. Our children are mixed and we haven’t experienced any racism here (thus far). I believe Duluth is LGBT friendly. Very safe town for kids and families. Lots of great restaurants, activities and events. Ive lived in Lithonia & Marietta (not the best I feel for minorities). I definitely plan on stying here in Duluth.

My neck of the woods! GREAT VIDEO! You've got to come to film during the summer for one of the town green events. It's fun, and you'll see firsthand the diversity of Duluth. I, however, absolutely share your "cons" sentiments. Not all communities have easy access to the interstate, so traffic congestion can be exhausting.
Been living here since 2008. Easy to get around with a car but getting more and more congested as is common with new construction and a forever moving economy. Family friendly environment. The school system is actually pretty good with options to take classes online for all ages (GOC) to coincide with your job while still maintaining in your school zone. Daughter graduated 2 weeks ago from high school so currently looking at colleges
Nice place. I love how the restaurants have outdoor eating. Just sit outside and relax and enjoy the evening! Lol I love these tours! I said, " Oh Raymond is taking us out today let me get ready to learn more about another place in Georgia!" Lol lol Nice Job as usual!!

I live in Duluth and the only problem I have with the city is that I pay close to a thousand dollars a year for city taxes, with that you do get quick police response and cheap garbage pick up!
