Tribal Organization volunteer Shoba exclusive interview on Tamil Nadu tribes facing extinction due to growing consistent threat to their culture and identity.
The Nilgiris is also home to six ancient indigenous communities and tribes - Badagas (traditionally settled agriculturists and the largest numerically), Todas (pastoralists occupying the upper plateau), Kotas (artisans) and Irulas, Kurumbas and Paniyars (hunter-gatherers, who also practice settled agriculture now)

Its true , there are lot of indigenous people lives edge of a mountians.. An poltical ways only sounds in thier own community, District administration tries to work towards people ,But Here stands agents or mediator, brokers unable to reach the govt amenities to Indigenous groups.. Rights of tribal would recap the own belongings.. ✍️✍️🙏🙏
