I referred a little bit of www.educative.io/courses/grokking-the-behavioral-interview It's a very long and boring course. My recruiter had shared some previously asked questions with me along with the answers of the candidates who were selected. I mostly referred those only.
@@CodingInterviewPrep Any chance you could share those...it could really help me with my upcoming interview. Also i have mostly been into JavaScript i.e. functional programming. Do you think I could maybe get away without heavy use of classes in the LLD?
@@dev-rock I had this interview almost 1.5 years back. I do not have those questions available with me anymore. Regarding your second question, LLD and HLD round are standard for SDE-II roles at Amazon and taken for everyone. I do not think you will be able to get away from it. Maybe you can have a talk with your recruiter and see what she has to say.
@@CodingInterviewPrep I am fine with HLD, its the LLD that uses classes and what not. I have been using functional programming rather than oops hence wondering if they will be okay with me using functions rather than classes i.e. typical oops style
Usually if a candidate is selected then Amazon communicates the same within a couple of days. It does not take so long. Since it's been over a month from his interview, I think it is unlikely that he was selected. But no need to lose hope as he can apply again after the cool off period which is 6 months, which means he'll be eligible to apply again in November 2022.
Thanks for this video. I have the SDEII interview by next week. This would help in my preparations. Please, I want to enquire, did you have all the 3 rounds of interview in one day? or the three rounds of interview happened on three different days?
Bhaiya for Amazon sde2 , low level system design or high level system design they were focusing on , as in your case it was Alexa so it was high level or low level design
I got an interview call for SDE_II. n LeetCode to get Amazon's previous question need to subscribe for a month. And I have only 4 days to prepare. How should I go preparing to crack the interview?
After clearing the online assessment of Amazon, my recruiter scheduled my interviews with a gap of 20 days. In those 20 days I had to prepare for System design, low level design and DSA so I only practiced those questions on Leetcode which were previously asked in Amazon. For Amazon interviews that much practice is usually enough.
@@CodingInterviewPrep I believe you previously had solved many dsa questions on any platform before clearing the online assessment. I want to know what was your strategy to do dsa before the online assessment so that you cleared the assessment.
I did some competitive programming in college. Here's the number of questions I have solved on different programming platforms. Spoj: 239 Leetcode: 500+ Codeforces: 108 Codechef: 79 HackerRank + Hackerearth: 50 - 100 GeeksForGeeks: 500+ 100+ coding questions in random coding contests organised by companies and in college techfests.

Can't really say for sure. They also ask this question when you apply on their career website. In my case the location and team was already decided even before the start of the interview process. In my honesty opinion, the job offer is not final until you've got the offer letter in hand.

Can't really say. Your recruiter or interviewer is the best person to answer these questions.
my son gave last round of interview on Apr 27 for sd1 but still he did get any response from Amazon his all rounds good

I am really not sure how to prepare in such a short span of time. I am extremely sorry but I suck at giving advices.
Practice at least one question per topic, I guess?
did you practise LLD in c++.
do have expertise in any other language like java or Javascript?
I have good knowledge of C++.
I can code in Java but I am not very good in it.

Brother after BSC computer science we are eligible for Amazon instead MCA.
In Amazon which language used..?
I don't know answer to this question. I'm really sorry.

I don't have it. You need to get Leetcode premium. There are also a lot of Amazon tagged questions available on Geeksforgeeks for free
AtLeast this company pays rather than being in hell its better going to that hell I guess
could we use python language in DSA coding questions
Yes.
Can I crack the coding round by following popular dsa sheets available on the internet?
I can't really say. I don't have a clue about what dsa sheets are. I haven't seen any.
