I like Sowunmi but Nigerians do not care, Bello should return the funds missing which he is yet to account for. The PDP is corrupt so the defence of thieves cannot be strange. This is why PDP cannot smell power anymore in Nigeria, institutional corruption is deep entrenched in their DNA, this guy has really surprised me. I thought he was a decent guy. 82 billion Naira is not a joke, just imagine him talking about age as if that is a licence to steal.

The interview should have started with the question, "Does Yahaya have queries to respond?", then these miscreants would not have avenues to bend the truth, and the truth in all sincerity is "explain the missing fund from Kogi's treasury to the tune of $720,000. If Sowunmi cannot answer that on behalf of Yahaya, then he should let the accused speak for himself. Enough drama and wasting of saliva. EFCC has done excellent!.
He will look back and regret his position on this matter. He honestly does not know what he was talking about. He has been on TV too much recently and begin to lose it. He has had his April on TV. He needs to slow down a bit a d don't get complacent talking on national TV.
This people just never speak truth! Their comments are always in their own interest. They have nothing to offer the nation. We must be afraid of them. Yahaya Bello’s case is nothing special. He should show up to defend himself. Other Governors have shown up and cases are still in court. What’s the big deal about him appearing. He can’t run away. It’s not a sustainable strategy. If there’s a conflict of interest, let him approach the court to deal with that. Is the Governor above the law?

If Bello is supposed to be innocent, regardless of the manner of invitation by the efcc,is he not incumbent on him to honour the invitation to clear his name of those serious charges?
Showumi is talking about the processes and procedures. I agree with him. But remember that Nigeria is in this terrible state owing largely to corruption, looting and other acts of irresponsibility on the part of the ruling elite.
