How do the English stand that they have such a police force. What this and these officers say is complete nonsense. It's like the officers live in a kindergarten, and they talk down to a citizen who will have to defend himself and be able to prove his innocence. Even young cops are completely stupid, it's like they surrender their critical sense when they become cops.
How can the English endure having such a police, asks a Scandinavian - where we have a tolerant police, well-trained officers who respect the citizens and who behave properly.

@@MikeEves you wont need to if its personal and your not collecting identifiable data etc, its more when you are doing things like going round shoving cameras in to workers faces and showing that to a large (often VERY) large audience, especially if doing so commercially as many auditors do...
Filming your trip somewhere and not having any info or identifiable data on the video about others for your own personal small audience is one thing... Filming peoples ID cards, where they work, what they do and showing it to thousands of people - doing this over and over as a business (self employed for most auditors, if they actually bother with tax etc) is something totally different.
It is worth reading up on policies etc to make sure you don't fall foul of them at any point. Saying that they are rarely policed, it only if someone was to make a complaint to the ICO or take legal action that it would raise its head usually.

Hi B B A, this encounter with the cops here is yet another one where the poor man acts on the basis of what he thinks he knows, the fact that he is deluded might eventually penetrate but here and now he is unable to behave properly in a sensible manner.
He insists that his demands are reasonable based on a complaint he has received, he keeps saying that he does not yet know if an offence has been committed, he wants you to give him that evidence!, in fact that is his job to investigate the evidence.
Eventually she takes over and behaves a lot better, she asks for and gets your assurance that you will not enter the premises and cause any trouble but he still wants to assert authority that he is not entitled to!.
Not for the first time they trot off without satisfaction.
I do admire the way you stick in there and resist the tyranny.
    Cheers, Richard.
