Fifo - Kleeshay (UK, 1982)

This is the AA (aka B) side from Fifo's 1982 45. I don't know anything about this band, but their funkified R&B reminds me of the kinda underground UK pop act that would pop up on The Young Ones TV show. Perhaps Fifo rubbed shoulders with Rik Mayall, Alexei Sayle and the others in off hours? (99% chance this is just me daydreaming!) Would love to find out more about Fifo or the label if anyone is in the know.
The red vinyl record was as an apparent one-off on "11:59 Records," a "non-profit making and apolitical" label who directed proceeds to the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND). I imagine Fifo is long gone, but the CND fights on. They have a YT channel well worth the follow for anyone interested in anti-nuclear culture or activism.
